Romanian here. I was almost 3 when communism ended in Romania. One of my oldest memories is when I went to the store with my grandmother (probably late 1989), store was almost empty, and my grandma presented the punchcard, and we recieved half a bread. I remember asking her in my broken language: that s it? She sighed and said: i guess that s it. It s indeed really sad that some people from a truly free nation like US are ungrateful for what they have and prefer to support communism without even knowing what it is. Do you support rationalized food? Do you support seizing of property? Do you support not being able to protest or even express your opinnion freely? Some people appearently do. And it s sad. Makes me want to say: "I guess that s it"
