I'm a newbie in content creation and I'm still experimenting with what works for me. Thank you for sharing your workflow! Will try to incorporate a couple of things with my creative process ✨
I love how you showed two styles of the reel! Love the vintage look for sure for a nature client, I don’t see this as much, usually it’s so clean, but this really made it feel organic as you said. Always love the before & after, you do that so well. I actually like the second cut without any sound added; it’s ASMR for sure! But I like both of them together, not one greater than the other. Really cool seeing someone else’s creative process, thanks so much for sharing! Can’t wait to see more work like this.
Really loved this one! Thanks for taking us behind the scenes of how you create and approach your projects! It was really insightful and I learned a lot! ❤️
I'm a newbie youtuber, and I gotta say you inspire me so much, I'm hooked to your editing style, always end up getting amazing tips from you ah and also, this ⭐️
an insightful video! i've been trying to figure out my own workflow on editing so keen to try out your process! ♡ a couple questions i had was, 1. how do you comfortably talk to the camera? and 2. what inspires you for the style of shots you film?
I'm glad it was helpful in anyway, it takes time to figure it out! 1) soo I think comfortability just came as a product of making lots of videos, I personally felt super uncomfortable when I first started (you can tell in my oldest videos) BUT I think you train yourself to get better at it. I usually try not to be so serious or try so hard, If I mess something up I will just try again or keep going lol. 2) I think my friends inspire me the most out of everyone! everyone makes super cool content online but also I get inspo from brand campaigns (try to take cool shots & replicate them ect..) Thanks for the questions!!
thanks for sharing your process! i love these kind of videos personally, cause i'm trying to learn to edit my fx3 footage so it looks better. would love to see more content on vlog video production, like grading for example (if you haven't yet and i totally missed that), cause your colors are just lovely. also love your channel🧡
I might go into it in the future! I am still learning a lot at the moment so I don't feel too comfortable with explaining my process yet as I don't even know 😅
I love your color grading style. I have a love and hate relationship with Davinci. I really want to love it, but the editing process is not flowing for me like in Final Cut. But I love colors in Davinci. So I try to do the quick editing in Final Cut and the color in Davinci. 😅
i really admire your workflow and overall content style, it's so refreshing! but i do have to say, where do you get your room decor from? any specifc place or just local? :0
this honestly couldnt come at a better time because im always left in awe with your videos! the shots and the editing is immaculate and it gives me so much inspiration with my own videos 🫶🏻 thank u so much for this 🫶🏻
Love your vlogs as a n00b creator myself, you’re in my two fav places: AUS and Japan!!! Question about the text overlay: What’s your workflow with creating these handwritten overlays & incorporating them into the video (like do you create the video first and then add text as you see fit? Or do you plan out the text first) Thank you!
Thank you! We all start somewhere~ I usually draw and transfer these from my Ipad after i've made my edit for the video. This process can be a little long and slow but I think it looks nice after it's all done. (I usually mark the timeline while editing to make a note of where a drawing could look nice as i'm editing)
Thank you! I would just look up any davinci resolve colour grading video on UA-cam! I think I watched them all 😅 (Skillshare is really nice though, please try the free trial for 30 days, you can definitely find more structured material there)
What does your LR workflow look like? Do you apply presets and adjust accordingly or do you start from scratch with the RAW? Id be interested to see. I really dig your photo edits!
Thank you for the question! I usually just create the look I like for 1 image without presets & then just apply the same corrections to images taken in similar situations. To then keep the whole set of images coherent I usually apply the HSL (colours) to the other images and just work on the curve for exposure! Everything is shot with raw files to give me more flexibility :)
Hey Tatsuki, love your content! Where do you find music for your videos, and how do you choose? Do you manage it without any copyright problems or do you pay royalty fees? Thank you so much!!
Hello, thanks for the creative videos~ I have 1 question bro! How did you desaturate of the noise color? sometimes i filmed high iso video for personal vlog, but the noise color is too saturated when i saw the footage in the finalcut. something like rgb noise! Is there any solutions about the noise color? let me know about your opnion!!
Thanks for the comment 🙏🏼 Im sure final cut has a plugin for de-noising video but I havn't used it before. Thank you!!!
Appreciate the kind comment 😄
thanks for sharing your work process! loved your approach of mixing the clean film shoots and the more analog textures.
Thank you!
I think mixing it up helps elevate the look, although actually shooting super 8 would be a lot nicer but a bit expensive 😅
Enjoying the behind the scenes content. Can’t wait to see the Japan related videos 🎬🇯🇵
