David Ivers, mechanical genius!
Thanks Dennis for the prescription map explanation. Very interesting tech between the computer software and the planter
Dude, love ur videos everything keeps real. Yours,Zach Johnson and Larson farms are the best by far.... Stay safe and God bless from a retired upstate NY dairy farmer...
I agree!
Case said the 715 will be there in March so realistically it will be there to pull the grain cart if they are lucky.
Dennis thank you sir for explaining the field prescription rates. I appreciate how well y'all explain everything. I hope you get the big 715 Quadtrac in time to use for this planting season! I'm really looking forward to seeing videos of that big beauty! I live in the OKC area and drive a truck hauling rock and grain. The family I work for also farms in this area. I grew up in North Texas milking cows and farming as well. I love everything farming. I appreciate y'all sharing your experiences.
Wow. That’s a Masters class in planting prescriptions. Thank you Dennis.
Always enjoy the video's.. that Salford does a fantastic job
Can we expect Any of the new high horse quads coming to the farm?!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights with us.
Great Video !! Thanks Guys ! 👍
its unbelievable how green your lawns are up here in sw wisc they are mostly brown we are still in extremely dry in hard drought conditions all tillage has been stopped so far this spring it looks purty bleak for any rain in the forecast.
Can't believe how green grass looks already. We're back to winter and snow up here in Northern Indiana. 😢
Great video Reese and that was some high programming for corn planning for getting good seeding
Thank you so much for the Date stamps. It makes it that much more enjoyable to follow along.
👍👍 thanks
Look Jay does know how to work on other things I thought he only knew how to work on a Peterbilt
Dennis dud a good job explaining the planting maps
👍👍
Best farming channel on UA-cam. Thanks gentlemen.
Great video!!! What’s up with that JD lawnmower? LOL!
How many acres can you planting a day with that big planter?
excellent vid, watching from the uk..👍
Awesome video this week. Enjoyed the subscription explanation and also the clip with what was going on in Texas . Great job on the video
George, love seeing that border wall built with private $$… looks great 👍 Thanks for sharing!!
Why so much overlap with the Salford?
Maybe easy way to know you’re getting all of it. lol
Ya. Waste of FueL. 😬
Great job Guys ! Always Awesome Videos 👍
Thank you so are you out of drought? We are in definitely Tri-state area Illinois Missouri Iowa.
Good video,, keep on rolling 👍👍
Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos.
How much do you over lap on your tillage
John Deere lawnmower?
Flying the JJ Nichting colors today! Nice!
Great class Dennis. I have to ask why you overlap the Salford so much... 3-4 feet? Not enough down pressure on the ends?
I was thinking the same
👍
Another awesome job on the video boy’s!
It’s crazy how expensive land prices can get to. Here in southwestern Ontario, some farms are selling upwards of $60,000/. It’s insane anymore. Another good video guys, good luck with planting season, we’re gearing up as well. Be safe!
Great video! Perscriptions, Irrigation switches, watermelons and field work. The I vers Team covers it all. Looking forward to watching ya'll plant.
Great job on explaining the planting scenarios, and outstanding job on the maintenance on your equipment!!! Thanks Reese!!
A very nice explanation of a detailed planting plan. As you are the combine operator. you get to see all the acres so it probably makes it easier for you to do that job. What do you do about soybeans? Do you make a prescription plan for beans also and beings you don't combine the beans do the combine operators help in that plan? Thanks.
Great video, George is on vacation with his body in the sun and his mind in the dirt. That's a farmer😂 Great family l enjoy following a long. Thank you for sharing 😊
Dennis if you would sometime? Explain how the populations are changed from the software to the mechanical drives on the planter. The plates can't be changed so it has to be done by the speed of the unit. If the planter has electric drives is this done by the amount power sent to the units. In planters of that size one end might be in a different population area than the other end. Is the software able to change the population in each individual row as that row may be moving from one area to another? Hard to believe.
Always interesting to see the activities on your farms. Owing to your soil types and location, you folks are considerably ahead of our part of N.Central Ohio. Took a drive after church today to see what's happening in the farm country the next county east of us. A big dairy area, so a lot of the ground is tiled. If the drainage and fertility allow for good alfalfa production, corn, wheat. and beans tend to yield well too. Plenty of dairy, poultry, and hog manure help yields too.
Great video look m m s like the ground is working good, I like the way Dennis does his planting prescription maps Great too see George and his interview with that farmer to see what kind of crops they are raising and what the water cost is, Glade you didn't get much damage from the wind storms Thursday night sound like next weeks going be a better.
Great video. What program do you use so make the prescription map?
Like your J.J. Nichting shirt. My neck of the woods. Seems like the overlap is a little heavy on the Salford.
I live in Mt Pleasant, Iowa. One of the locations of J.J. Nighting Co. Couldn't believe my eyes.
George needs a new phone!
no he doesnt..it works perfectly fine..anybody that buys a phone just because a quality of the camera is stupid
@@specialopssoldier1damn why you get so butt hurt
Glad George was able to share. I enjoyed the info.
Do you use the prescription mapping to determine the amount of chemicals to use on your fields, or is it just for seed population?
Seed and fertilizer
@@iversfarms Farmers are smart for using that technology. Less waste with seed and fertilizer = better bottom line.
💰 ✅
Nice Vid!
great video
I think you guys need some Case IH 715 hp tractors and some Case IH AF 11 Combines
