You may already know but if you pick boom up and climb over wheel behind cab there is a grease nipple below the boom which a lot of people forget about. Just worth knowing 👍🏻

the upper Q-Fit hooks fit the Euro mounts so you can have double use without annoying adapters and for moving around the yard the lower locking pins fit the Euro mount hooks

What a fabulous asset to the farm they are a great machine i could never get used to the forward and reverse switch on the joystick
Yes I drove a 414 for a man for few days reseeding before couldn't get used to it. In them it's top of the joystick. By the steering wheel is handier I think

Fantastic machine, I used a brand new one on hire for a year or so daily when I worked at a recycling centre. Once I got properly used to it, I loved it!
I always thought it would be ideal for farm use, very capable and just a good size, not too big and numb compared to other machines and I think the manouverability and the reach of a telehandler will make up for the bigger size compared to your old machine.

Good luck with your new telehandler Phill, I have found the Michelin bibload tyres great on the road and yard but not so good on wet ground as they don't self clean like a standard chevron pattern tyre. 🤠👍

3:36 you don’t even need a small trailer we tow 20 or as Ton of hay (trailer included) on a dolly trailer with 2012 same spec machine she handles it no problem 👍🏻

Won't go wrong with a jcb yes they have there faults sane as any machine but best on market

@@kieranosullivan02 oh I know they are it's a wonder they stopped making them, he's talking about getting a second one though, if I was him I'd get the jd pivot steer loader if he could find one and have the best of both worlds
@@cianhalley9266 yeah they'd have done well if they kept them going. I don't think gerry would be fond of the pivot steer tbh he's mastered that loader. the way he moves and opens the bales for feeding is an art. I doubt he could do it in a pivot steer as easy but he may get there too haha

If you are climbing a pit with her Phil, my advice to you is take off the mud guards before you do or else they will fall off on their own and it ain’t pretty.
