I think whoever picks these couples should be fired - they havent made a good match of any of the couples this season.
As much as I give the match makers a hard time, I'm sure it's hard to find a lot of good candidates at the end of the day, after they eliminate those who have criminal records, medical issues, crazy personalities, jobs that will allow time off to shoot, etc. LOL

I so happy Bao decided not to stay married to him. When a partner keeps saying the things he says to her, will start messing with your confidence in yourself. It's better to be alone instead of being with someone who don't want you.
Gil situation is different, Myrla is calculating, heartless, and mean. We never heard her say she was not attracted to Gil, we heard just the opposite about how she got more than she expected. No way things change that fast after the cameras went away. In addition, to wait until someone sells almost all their stuff is just being nasty. Anyone who gets involved with her, better keep Fours eyes on her.

He browbeat and bullied his wife all season and still fell in love with her but she didn't and now everyone's mad at her. Was she supposed to turn herself inside out for him? It's really clear to me why she did not fall in love. She could have fallin in love with him had he played his cards differently just like Jamie Otis fell in love with her husband she wasn't attracted to. Gil was like a dog with a bone and made it impossible for her.

I don’t do a lot of commenting, but Myrla is everything a lot of people thought Karen was from season 11. I’ve always liked Karen. Something about Myrla always rubbed me the wrong way . I do feel like they were mismatched but , she definitely played him.
Myrla took so much shit off of Gil He talked about her everyday.She let the spotlight stay on Gil.He liked the spotlight.I can't understand why she is being crucified.He should have treated her like a woman and not a little toy that he could yoyo around.You go Myrla.I bet he will think twice about talking about another woman the way he talked about her.

Why is nobody calling out Michaela for her foolishness? This chick sat up here and claimed she didn't want to be around Zach to "protect her energy" but once it was his turn suddenly that went out the window. This girl is a habitual liar, and the fact that she wouldn't let him have his time alone with the host proves it. The night at the getaway house proves she can't be trusted either . She told him to leave and when he did she blew up, not only on him but Ryan too. This girl is literally nuts and needs to be called out for all her crap. I also don't see why him saying no on decision day but still wanting to work on things is so confusing to everyone.
With the Brett situation she had every right to talk to someone else. This guy was stringing her along for weeks so what else was she supposed to do? At that point they knew they were getting divorced anyways so I don't get why people are trying to make her out to be the bad guy here. Ryan literally stopped trying after like week 2 or 3 so good for her if she found someone else.
Rachel and Jose, well she was dumb for going back to him after he cussed her out and locked her out. That would have been a wrap for me personally. Anything could have happened to her but he wants to be petty to try to prove a point. Honestly I think he's on the DL anyways but that's just me 🤷🏾♀️
I have a couple of videos that I've dedicated to calling Michaela out...I've accused her of gaslighting, lying, not taking responsibility, etc. This couple is exhausting. I'm indifferent towards what Brett did except watching her lie about it was ridiculous. Like you said, Ryan wasn't showing her interest. Imagine how powerful it would have been if she said something like. "Ryan wasn't showing me interest and this guy thought I was beautiful, funny and smart...why would I turn down giving him my number?" BOOM! That would have been awesome instead of stumbling through lies to finally confess the truth.
I think people have called out Hurrincane Kay all season lol Many we’re surprised by Myrla. First that she acted like Gil was the man for her after he put in the work to break down those walls and then at the reunion when she basically said “well no that was a lie”.

Myrla didn't make Gil sell his stuff. And it's actually pretty odd that he wanted to do so, after a few months together (fresh off of an experimental reality show no less)! He could have just put his stuff in storage.
Well let's be real. Mryla wasn't trying to live with Gil's Furniture. LOL However, before he sold it, she could have made it clear that she wasn't feeling him. If he still wanted to sell it after knowing her truth, then that's completely on him.
Myrla never discussed Gil on camera so it makes me wonder what was said when they were alone. Was there ever a time that Gil listened to her and considered her feelings, instead of doing whatever he wanted? She didn’t want to be touched he massaged, she asked him to stop talking about her, he continued, she told him not to let his apartment go and he did.
Any man who sells all his stuff in Gil's position didn't have any quality stuff in the first place. It was probably mostly junk.
My now hubby and I moved into my home when we got together and he assumed when I said yes move on I didn't mean short term so of course he sold his stuff. Myrla said she broke up with Gil cause she felt he was miserable. And he actually looked kinda mad on decision day. Myrla is a nice catch. It would be dumb for her to be with a guy that didn’t make her feel like it every single day or was making her feel opposite of it every single day. I’m not saying Gil isn’t a catch he probably is to a lot of women, but he always spoke as if the work needed to be done on Myrla’s side and she had so much improving to do. But yes I was referring to the reunion and her attitude but idk what happened behind the scenes. Overall I don't believe she played him this entire season. I believe Myrla was capping when she said she didn't care about Gil. She was in like with Gill. I think she saw the show and realize just how verbally abusive he was. I also think Ryan and Johnny told her what Gil was saying about her and just couldn't take it anymore.
Myrla broke up with Gil before the show aired. Decision day was in April but the season didn't begin airing until July 21st. But you're right, it's possible that Johnny and the guys were relaying what Gil was saying because we know he likes to talk!
As far as their income, I doubt they were talking about pensions. I’ve been in law enforcement for years and I don’t consider my pension part of my current income. Never heard of that. His bi-weekly take home may be more because he has fewer pre-tax deductions (Myrla socks a lot of money away into savings and retirement/401k) and a large part of her salary probably consists of large bonuses on an annual basis.

Exactly pensions are for retirement by law. Pensions can go bankrupt. There are plenty of people on pensions who ate struggling because they don't have investment income. Gil had no savings and didn't know what a 401k was when Mryla asked him about it.
@@ShaShaVirgo it was probably just a retirement plan to him, like for me it’s a TSP. They are’nt all called the same thing. Also, he sends money back home rather than saving. This shows he is giving, but he could probably learn to do more for his own future.
I thought about the deductions. However, when I had a pension, I was forced to contribute the designated percentage. So I would think after taxes and and his pension his checks should be kind of small but of course this is speculation. Thanks for the insight.

I think Myrla should sue the show for deliberately going against her wishes of NOT being paired with a bald man who was not financially well off. I mean what’s the deal with the so called experts???? I don’t blame her at all.
If she hadn't slept with him, she may have qualified for an annulment. The show rarely gives them what they ask for (which is why I don't understand why people agree to this experiment) and the contracts cover the show from cast members suits based on not getting who they asked for. As for Myrla leading him on....I don't believe that was a kind way to handle her spouse.

Had she said all those great things she said about him during Decision Day, but explained it can’t work bc they are just 2 different people looking for 2 different things and it’s something she just can’t negotiate with, everyone would have understood. Instead she talking about she chooses to love him and saying how patient he is and never thought this could work but here they are and he is perfect for her only to sit there like an Ice Queen and say she never loved him, she had no attraction to him, and she knew this from the beginning …. Like what. We’re you lying then or you lying now? In addition, she showed no empathy while saying all of this. No emotion. She did not care. Also, my husband and I do very well with our finances. He is the spender and I’m the saver/invester. It’s good bc we balance each other out. There has to be balance. He likes nice things that I can definitely go without, but I also make sure our future is secured. We just sat down reviewing our plans for early retirement while also reviewing our vacations for the next 2 years so we good over here.
If by having his back you mean she made a conscious decision to control her reactions and tongue to not look worse, then sure that's what she did. However scheming over optics on MAFS knowing that you are neither attracted to your partner or willing to compromise lifestyle is a conscious choice to be dishonest. She was only thinking about herself. Mryla is a thinker and planner. There was a lot going on behind her eyes, that much was clear. I do believe she was honest in that she wanted the best for Gil in the end. But the whole thing reeks. Even Gil's willingness to not see the truth.

After watching the reunion I get where Myrla is coming from. She said after decision day Gil wasn’t happy and she could tell. Her leaving him wasn’t just about money or attraction, if he’s not happy in the relationship why continue?
But she also said she was never felt a spark or fire and that she wasn't really attracted to her. She should have womaned up and let him know she wasn't feeling him instead of letting it go that far.

I don't feel as if anything is wrong with Myrla wanting to be with a man who is on her level financially so she can continue to live the lifestyle to which she is accustomed. Myrla is accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle through her own hard work, blood, sweat and tears. I am proud of her and she has every right to say that her and Gil are at very different stages in their lives. I can understand Myrla not wanting to be with a guy on the come up who she is physically not attracted to. I think the straw that broke the camel's back was that Myrla has very different values from Gil on everything from politics to how to deal with finances. It was wonderful that Myrla kicked Gil's dusty butt to the curb!

I agree with your comments about Gill. I created an entire video about how he nagged her. However, when it comes to Myrla, she knew early on that he wasn't the man for her. I usually know within the first 10 or 15 minutes of a date if I want to have a second one. By the second date I usually know if I want to continue seeing this person. So we're only talking a few hours spent with that person at this point . These two were spending 10 to 12 hours together every day for 8 weeks. She knew and could have said something.

I watch it because I think it's educational, and season 11 was just that since almost everyone was trying to be better and improve and be good spouses. Producers and cast would have jumped on her like vultures ALL season if she confessed to not liking Gil. It was more peaceful, for her, to stay quite and play the game. During the reunion part two, the experts pressed Myrla regarding what made her change her mind about Gil so that she proposed moving out. She said: "For me, there were things that occurred after decision day where I didn't feel safe with him to make financial decisions for us in our future." Her brother took care of her finances and she was extremely successful. Now, the reigns have to be turned over to Myrla and Gil. Neither of them are confident in Gil's financial acumen, and I think it's safe to say that Myrla's brother deserves all of the credit for her financial success. No doubt, he still manages her finances. I can't hate any of them for their fears, but my heart breaks for Gil and it was breaking for Myrla when I felt Gil's criticisms went too far during the last few weeks of filming.

Gil was bothered by Myrla's constant whining and he called her out on it gently - she seemed to take it in stride but she was just nasty. She is in love with herself and will never find anyone to put up with her.
I personally didn’t see Gil calling her out as a bad thing. I can’t stand negative people…she didn’t try to be outside of the box at all. So I was confused that she said yes and had good things to say about him. She played him for her own selfishness, I think she mean and entitled. Her life style doesn’t add up. With what he had to say about her and who she claimed to be.

In my state Firefighters make about $150,000 ± a year with overtime. In addition, Gil should have paid more attention to her negative boring attitude. When she was around the other couples or ladies she hardly said anything, acting like she couldn't be bothered with them. If your partner don't bring things to your attention that hinders your relationship, than they are not being real with you. She acted as if he was a very good fit for her and never said she was unattractive to him, so, who is really the unattractive person between the two? It is much better that she allowed her true self show before decision day instead allowing your partner to sell all their things and move in with you and tell them you don't want them. That's mean and cold, at least he brought her attitude to her attention on the show instead of afterwards.

I think Myrla's boots would have been better if she was standing...maybe. They weren't good for sitting. The only difference between Brett and Ryan is that Brett actually interacted with the guy and perhaps dated him. Ryan hadn't gotten to the point of meeting anyone yet...Brett should not have tried to lie but own it. "Ryan didn't like me and this guy told me I am sexy, smart and funny so I gave him my number and I'm not sorry!" LOL
