  • A CS2 guide for communication in CS2 premier. Communication is the most overlooked skill in CS2. And for that reason, I am making this guide on Communication in CS2, so you can have better CS2 communication skills whilst playing CS2 premier games.

Hey bro loving the content. Big thing for me that I’ve learned is to just check the ego in at the door. Be nice to others, offer to buy others without them asking, give everyone a “let’s fookin go/‘ave it” when a great play happens. Keeps the mental positive and helps to keep the team together.
But yet at least compared to CSGO I definitely think the community has regressed in communication (maybe this is just nostalgia and rose colored glasses). I’ve never run into the problem of cluttered comms in CS2 yet, but I seriously wish I had. It’s mostly just radio silence for me, sometimes it feels very much like I’m just talking to myself in a padded room. I usually play solo or duo but either the solos are quiet the whole game or the other 2/3 man stack is only talking in their discord and never saying anything over game mic so I’m in the dark. I try to keep positive, but I’m not perfect, I’ll get frustrated sometimes and express that in my discord mic but not over the game. I really wish that my teammates could give me the same respect that I give them but the more I queue the more insurmountable this task seems. Again great tips for everyone but sometimes it feels like your individual efforts to communicate just aren’t enough to sway the team.
I’m not saying it’s all bad and again this is just my anecdotal experience and maybe it’s just because people tend to remember the lowest of lows over the regular games where things go relatively smoothly, but it does seem to be more frequent than CSGO at least.

i've come back into the game after 2 years away and found your videos great for keeping in mind what i'm doing as i try to get back into the swing of things, knowing what's something i just need to get comfortable with again and what is a bad habit that i can get rid of now that i have the chance. it's also great to see more supportive and informational content in the community when i'm so used to just highlight compilations.
one thing i've found with my break, is that as much as i'd like to get good again and playing in tournaments, none of my ego is wrapped up in how good i am at the game like it was before. i'm happy to comm the wrong thing and get corrected by people who know better than i do, and my comms are so much less panicked now every game isn't life or death. it's something you kinda touched on towards the end with being more empathetic and just being a better, more mature person, and it's much more complicated than just "git gud lose your ego 4head" but it's definitely worth keeping in mind, and something that's so much more obvious now i'm a bit older.

Another absolute banger of a video! Having played games like LoL in the past, I was afraid of enabling voice or text comms in CS, as getting flamed for being trash just made me even worse. But, at some point I decided to turn it on again, and I'm glad I did, it makes a big difference game to game, and if I get the impression someone is going to be toxic, I can just individually mute them.

Really good video. I play a lot of HLL on PC and comms are huge in that game, i usually took up the officer or leadership role. Taught me a lot about when to speak, and what. New players tend to avoid speaking so its good to break that ice. Once you know you won't be judged for a mistake or not having the experience you become a much better player!

I love your videos but this one hits different. When I play with my friends I often take on the role of IGL, well, not because I'm very good at it but because no one else is doing it and communication is very very important to me. That's why I really need to work on my mindset, the calmness and the whole approach. I really appreciate your videos because they aren't just another "how to shoot heads quicker" series but go indepth on what's going on within ourselves. Call that CS Therapy and I sure need it 😂

I only recently found a way to deal with the people that try to blame you for every action you take and get very toxic towards just you or like you and one other
Had a match where this guy after round 1 was already harping on me after i missed a headshot from the side and i guess because i didnt support his counter ramp rush on vertigo
After simply shrugging it off and ignoring him while complimenting the actions of my teammates even though i know that guy was completely in the wrong he eventually shut up for the last 3/4 of the game and actually top scored the 2nd half for us
It did help me too as i was able to shrug off my mistake and actually top score the first half despite the struggles of some of my teammates

The point made about communicating what you next actions are, especially on T side,is a big problem I see way too often. Simply saying something like “hey I’m going to push into the site now can you flash me in?” Will absolutely win you rounds. Players seem to think that you should always know exactly what they’re going to do based on radar, and then complain why didn’t you push with me. Even the most basic comms to coordinate team play will win you significantly more games.

I made my own discord now and anyone that talks and is friendly I invite them. We had 5 stacks consistently and it just improves the enjoyment of CS.

I actually wrote my bachelor degree surrounding the very issue with toxic behavior in CS:GO... These issues always lay at the persons own feet, and that is often the absolute hardest to change... I absolutely LOVE this video @kneel, and appreciate what you are trying to do for the CS community. When 80% of matches the teams filled with russians/turks that speak little to no english it's impossible to talk them. Especially since they pretty much almost start talking russian/turkic and just don't care

Yo I'm finnish I landed at 11 700 after placements I am a very calm player and can clutch a 1v4 and get aces all the time. Game feels really good right now.

Hey bro, I have this issue where I keep topfragging every single game on soloQ (Not every game, but like 80% of them) but I still lose all of them, is there something I am doing wrong? (except for playing soloQ)

Awesome video as always, do you have any tips for a female player how to deal with the toxicity?

    • @kneel69

I will definitely make a video on toxicity and impartiality. I’ve never thought of the perspective from a female player, so thank you for the comment and interesting discussion point :)

Anyone I have a problem only with CS2 for the last 2 weeks my game keeps tabbing out randomly and I’ve tried everything
    List of things I’ve tried
    - Reinstall the game
    - verify game files
-turned off game filter in nvidia and game mode / overlay on steam and Windows 11
    - in task manager I prioritized CS2 on high instead of normal
    - turned off my second monitor
    -in plugged my keyboard
    -turned off windows notifications
    - All settings on low, Recommend, High
    - turned of latens “ Enable plus boost “ and turned it to enabled and disabled
    I play on 4:3 stretched on 165hz on a Lenovo Legion 3060 i5
And 16:9 tabbed out aswell by just being on a offline server or in the menu
Someone who might know I’d really appreciate it ❤👍🏻

the worst part is when you give correct, meaningful and impactful callouts, and your team says "you gotta quit yappin' "
They think a few good callouts is bad? sheesh, wait until they hear pro comms or faceit-10 comms lol
I play Silver Nuke for fun, and they lose their minds when I say how many hours I have after losing. Like I can't hard carry every match.
So many NA players need help, the ego is through the roof, everything is an attack, and everything they do is the most important thing ever.
played 9 games in a row where our team muted me after one callout or called a strat at the start of a round. like come on, grow up, you're bottom fragging, maybe some people are better at the game and you should listen to your team instead of fighting them because they missed something you could have hit.
Help the noobs, and on god help the toxic screaming crybaby's that belittle everything you do.

solid advice mate, but i cant take it serious seeing as you dont even have a knife... man if you want to be a serious cs youtuber you gotta have a knife, otherwise people wont respect you. get a basic falchion or huntsman tiger tooth for like 200 bucks and you will have more views and respect, believe me

Thank you for this one and your other videos! You always dive deep into one of the CS2 gameplay problems and make super useful points each time. I don't play that often but still enjoy your videos as they are so positive and informative. One day I would like to play in a team where everyone has watched your guides) Keep it up and I hope more people will join our mini community
