The Ultimate CS2 Positioning Guide…

- A CS2 guide to positioning. Positioning in CS2 is a difficult skill to guide as its more theoretical rather than something you can have a normal CS2 guide to. CS2 presents countless situations, so a good way to guide positioning is to take some tips from a list of discussion points I will be talking about. I hope you enjoy this ultimate CS2 positioning guide! :))

*Flashbacks to 2015 where my position would be rushing Banana with a P90*
Is that the famous scp youtuber devious melon?!?!
Are u even playing banana right if u dont do this in global?
@tigsb13 I remember Global was so shit back in 2015/2016 before the Great Rank Reset and you could literally just 5 man rush banana with P90s smoke site, rush CT, kill rotates and it worked like every game.
Low global was like DMG back then.
Different times man. The playerbase used to be so much worse 😭
@@hunterrussell9263 Toxic people screaming with thick skin was so much better than whiny pussies any day of the week.
A counter strike youtuber that's not annoying and actually helpful, this is rare. Keep up the good work
Hahaha thank you mate I appreciate the kind words
@@kneel69 I love ur accent

This is probably the best positioning video I've ever seen. I was DMGish in csgo and positioning has always been my biggest weakness. I have watched every video I can find on how to improve my positioning, and usually people just start talking about crosshair placement instead. It's ridiculous! Your video actually explained contact points and crossfires, two concepts that I've heard about but never really appreciated until now. Thank you for this. Great job
Thank you for the kind words mate. I’m glad I could help! :))
one of the few times that I've seen a Cs2 guide not be generic and completely basic 101 info. This was actually helpful for me
Love to hear that lad thank you :)
Just found your channel and I absolutely love ur personality and style, you have such a calming way of explaining the game with such enthusiasm but so chill. You don’t sound patronising or condescending but you explain everything super clearly with visual help in a super friendly way. I can’t wait to check out the rest, and as a solo queue new cs player these videos are incredibly helpful and I’ve loved learning more and improving myself in game :)
Love that mate thank you so much. I’m glad I can provide helpful info in a positive way for you :))
I've just randomly found your channel and let me tell you what, you are bloody amazing! I really love your calmness and how respectful you are. Keep up the good work, mate!
Ayy thank you mate! I appreciate the kind words and I’m happy you’re enjoying the videos :)
Another certified kneel banger, this is something I struggle with a fair bit and you explained it in a really easy to understand way. Thanks!
Ayy thank you :) love to see the regulars
earned my sub. This was one of the best & most informative CS youtubers that i have ever listened to. I rarely watch videos and walk away feeling i have learned something, especially as a seasoned global elite. Cheers mate. This channel is destined for greatness. keep it comin!
Hello , I have played CS for a long time now. I would not recommend this as a positioning guide , but as an introduction to game sense. This was an amazing way to describe how to be aware as a player and I really feel that the way you articulate these skills opens up doors for listeners to improve. Just fantastic stuff.
Great videos bro, binged your catalogue today. Keep it up
Great video! This is something I have tried to figure out by myself because there are no good guides, and while I've gotten exponentially better at aiming, clutches, util, this always eluded me. 10/10
Covering these topics are both the hardest to do but also the most rewarding :)) im very happy you like it :)
Honestly, this is the best positioning video ive ever seen. You put words to the ideas for positioning which is big for newer players. Its alsi helpful fir myself, to remind me of these concepts that are easy to become passive thought.
criminally underrated youtuber, its wild that you only have 4k subs with this much editing and effort put into this video. I can't wait to learn more from you in the future, thank you!
Thank you mate that’s really nice of you :))
Im overwhelmed by how good this video is! havent seen good quality videos like this in a while.
Thank you mate :))
Great insight man, thank you for the good vid!
Your content quality and production value are top notch, just subscribed to help get your numbers up because you deserve it!
Thank you so much mate I really appreciate it :)))
This video was very well done. Made me think a lot, and this type of educational content is absolutely necessary and longed for.
I'm glad you like it mate :))
I'm learning so much from your content, so glad youtube recommended your channel to me!
That is legendary mate thank you for the kind words
Very helpful videos, sharing them amongst my less experienced friends and I feel like they are perfect at explaining what I can't.
Love to hear that mate thank you for the kind words and for sharing my videos :))
bro I love your vids, so simple yet so well explained, and so calm too, keep it going, you deserve way more than 8.5k subs. love ❤
Thank you mate I appreciate the kind comment :))
Just found your channel, and i absolutely love it. Thx for the content and advice!
Happy days lad I’m glad you like it :) thank you!
Very chill content and easily digestible information.

Great guide, awesome video man 🙏
Holy shit this channel feels like a breath of freah air. The positivity and solid advice is fantastic, keep it up!
Ayy at the end of day, that’s my goal. Thank you mate :)
Always with the best advice, watched your videos back to back to understand more of the game and played more composed overall, expanding my game knowledge, thanks the great content, let's fucking av it!!
Love to hear that mate, it’s an honour to have people such as yourself do that. It really means the world!! Let’s fuckin av it lad!
One of thebest guides
Its calm, funny, informative
For me it was just basic knowledge which i dont apply during a match and this video shows a lot of them😅 well done
baiting is byfar the most interesting thing to me in all of fps games, i really like the idea of doing something so seperate to the actual regular gameplay loop as acting purposefully like you were vulnerable or in a certain position that can be anticipated, and then using that as a method to anticipate their position or similarly gain an advantage over them, such a cool quirk of gaming that i love
You just earned a sub! Great vid!
Actually so underrated lad. Great things to come - up the pool‼️❤️
Ayy cheers lad I appreciate it :))
hey great video and good taste putting secret of the forest in the background.
POP OFF Kneel! I can see you going big very soon, these vids are great
Excellent video. If there is one thing I might add, it would be a few more examples, like when you were describing crossfires, it would nice to have a visual guide of some real match applications like what you did with entry paths at 2:15. But the excellent thing is, your explanation is so clear you can still build a mental picture of what you are describing, so it's a minor thing. Overall very concise and just a well made informative video
Thank you for the kind words and feedback mate, I will keep this in mind in the next one :))
Can tell you really love the game how you branched off to tips that are irrelevant to the title but crucial to bringing it the plays all together. I’ll sub but you better keep dropping bangers ❤😂
Thank you mate I appreciate the kind words :)))
This is such a refreshing friendly vid, nice
I must say also as a fellow scouser I appreciate your videos bro, you're a breath of fresh air and I for one appreciate your work. Please don't give up and keep up the great content!

Cheers lad!

Thank you mate :)
i love the way that you explaine stuff. Keep up the good work.
Thank you mate :)))
nice vid. simple but effective advice
W video, thanks man!
I just have to say as a 31 year old noob to CS. This series is helpful. I kept getting frustrated when holding angles only to die from the player swinging. Something simple such as holding an off angle has been game changer. Also practicing being unpredictable and changing position more. Thank you so much for these videos!
That’s sick mate!! I’m glad I’ve been able to help :)) cheers!
0:44 no diss I love the video, "UNPREDITABLE" made me laugh really hard for some reason
Loved the video! Also great profile pic it's insane!
Thank you mate :)))
Even after 8 years of cs this is still helpful ❤❤❤
very good game sense video one of the best i have seen for a while +rep my man. sub earned. keep up the good work. your channel wont be the same in 1 year.
Ayyy thank you mate I really appreciate it :))

Legend! Thank you mate :)
Is that osrs I hear? And if I’m not mistaken it is the banging soundtrack of Xerics glade? Great video as well!
Never seen or heard a British Counter-Strike player have such a calm voice and a chill vibe. The one's I get in-game usually scream or throw a bunch of hilarious slurs I never even heard of XD
Jokes aside, great video and great editing.
Hahahaha it’s an unfortunate reputation. I’m glad you like the video mate thank you :)
Great content! & Very useful.
Thank you :)
Great videos. Views are deserved man
Legend mate I appreciate the kind words :))
Good video. Very informative.
Nice Video again, really like the content :) I also have a question: when i play mm, i often lose track of whats happening on the rest of the map. Its like i got sucked in to only my piont of view. Any tips to improve?
Very good work! Hold on to that quality:)
Love this guy can't wait to get into this video.
This guy loves you! And can’t wait to get into y- wait…
Csgo + brit slang, my favourite, keep it up lad ur a bloody legend
Bro I’ve just discovered your channel. Top notch quality content. My advice would be upload your gameplay videos in 15-20 mins duration. Cause as a progressing player I find those helpful and there are not many videos which focuses on general gameplay, positioning or contribution as a solo player. I don’t even mean a video with detailed analysis, just pure gameplay video with small commentary may be. Again you earned my subscription.
Love that mate thank you for the suggestion and the kind words :))
good job lad, really nice videos
Thank you :))
lovely video, great content and really good edits
what software did you use to make this?
YOURE a legend mate. Love from AUS
"Your life is very valuable in each round" It also is in real life. Hope if you're reading this it reminds you. Much love.
When you make quality videos consistently its only a matter for an amazing fucker like you to blow up, amazing video cant wait for the next one ❤
Very soothing voice, thanks for the advices!
Thank you mate glad I can help :))
that taser round is insane LMAO
Hahahahaha thank you lad
I got distracted by it and didn't hear anything he said lol
another banger, your growth is going to be insane in 2024
Ayy gotta respect the OG’s tho
I'm old as fuck, been playing CS since 1.6 casually on and off. CSS was the last one I bothered sweating at, however CS2's community is getting so good, I want to get better to play with the team rather than next to them. These videos are really helping me get back into this, thanks!
That’s so sick lad I love that. I definitely think the community can turn a new leaf and change for the better
Thank you for the comment :)
Great video, keep it up!
Thank you :) I most certainly will!
Love the osrs music in the background
holy moly finally helpfull stuff
Fantastic video! Coming from Quake, I apparently have the aim of an MGE but the positioning of a silver 1.
I'm so glad I've stumbled upon your channel
Glad you like it mate thank you :))
every single game requires you to develop a psychological profile on each opponent. if you load up a game and just play you may or may not do well, but if you learn the opponents you can get a huge advantage.
Love that mate
The portal ost at the beginning was nice
really great video bro.
Thank you mate
Great voice, great edit, great content as i said, thanks for hard work, KEEP going!! ❤
Thank you very much mate i appreciate that :)
you have my subscription sir, thank you for your good videos!!!!😊
Ayy what a legend! Thank you :))
Symphony of war music.... Nice 👍
another banga!
Excellent video excellent music choices ;)
Thank you very much mate :))
Thank you for this video. Watching from Brazil.
Ayy that’s sick mate! Glad you like it :)
Great work. Easily digestible to new players and not overly dramatic
Amazing lad thank you for the positive words :))
"Reposition after every engagement" just after you spoke about conditioning your opponent. This will sound incredibly counter-intuitive, but at high elo's sometimes you can get a kill from a position but stay in that same position because enemies will think "Oh he will definitely fall back and reposition". Everyone is conditioned into thinking you need to reposition after your spot is given up, but that's not always the best play in particular circumstances.
This is a really good point mate. There is a base level we need to get to (in this context it’s the repositioning). But then when you get to a higher level where everyone is accustomed to this, you can start to abuse these kind of things, where it becomes a meta game.
There is a really interesting joe rogan podcast with n0thing where they discuss this exact thing. I’d highly recommend it :))
Thank you for the comment too mate it’s a really good point :)
I love it when Paddy the Baddy makes CS content!
Damn dude U ARE the LEGEND!
That’s my guy! Thank you lad haha
Great video man, subbed! Also what’s your viewmodel settings?
Thank you mate :) I just use the classic view model in the settings
Don’t need to worry about positioning when all we do is rush b boys 😎
fuckin av it lad!
Great video for beginners i must say. But could you maybe make one guided more towards intermediates who are looking to make the next step from good to great. I'm level 10 faceit and have played the game a little too much. But im struggling to really elevate my game. great thumbnails btw, keep up the good work
thank you!!!
You’re welcome! :)))
Most under rated cs youtuber no doubt!
Nice video earned a sub
:D
