I love how Lynette is so beautiful. Rather than being mad at God for the flooding, she says, "Thank The Lord for not letting the permits for the renovations go through." Now, that's a thankful heart! Praying for all of you.
Oh my goodness!! I am shooting prayers up for you all. Sorry, for your parents loss of there home. I am so glad they were not home. I can't help but cry when I see all the devastation. My heart goes out to your parents and all the others that had flooding. Sending hugs and prayers to your family, Lynette.
It was shocking to me that a tropical storm could cause that much flooding. I've lived in a coastal city in Florida for over 50 years and have not seen flooding like this before-from a tropical storm. I'm praying for your parents and the Amish Community. I was blessed watching your video and hearing how your community is helping one another and walking in thankfulness in the midst of adversity. You are showing us what it looks like to walk in love with one another, what it looks like to be a Christian, and how to trust God no matter the circumstances!
Fwiw, the Amish are the only Christians I have any respect for. They mind their own business. They don't proselytize. Some of them do come into Philadelphia from Lancaster Co, PA to sell goods in the Reading Terminal Market. They are efficient and hardworking. Really good people.
I feel so bad for everyone involved, especially for the family of the man who drowned in his truck nearby.Already some shady unscrupulous people are taking advantage of the elderly. One case being an elderly man living in Laurel Meadows whose house was flooded,an “Inspector “ came by and told him he would remove and replace the drywall that was spoiled for $15,000!.The volunteers who visited him told him absolutely not.One of them was married to a retired firefighter. He came with some of his buddies, they tore out the dry wall, replaced it all for free. Also, unsure of the name but an Amish cabinet maker promised free cabinets.Such kindness amongst the community.God bless you all..
Nice job on documenting the flood. I live just south of you in Punta Gorda, and I’ve rebuilt after several hurricanes. You are right, you just can’t describe the smell or the overwhelming, oppressive heat. Hang in there, each day gets easier as you clear away the mess and bring order to your parent’s lives. As we navigate through our lifetime we learn that there is a reason for everything, and a year from now you will be in a far better place. Sending prayers and hugs.
I’m just so sorry, Lynette! How heartbreaking for you, your parents, and all the people in this community! The rainbow was so beautiful! God is always faithful and good!
Wow, I can't believe how high the water went. Prayers and positive thoughts to your family and all of the community that unfortunately went thru this awful flooding.
Heartbroken for one of my favorite places to visit. Your family and the entire community is in our prayers. I cried seeing your mom looking so devastated looking at her home. Take care of each other and all that are suffering the loss of their homes and possessions. Your faith and hard work will get you through this!
I am so sorry you have to go through this. My in-laws lived in Sarasota for 18 years. You never know how bad it is until you go through it. Our city in Iowa had a 100 year flood in 2008 and it took us 10 years to recover. Just be careful because you cannot imagine how fast mold pops up.
"Devastation" is a perfect word for all of it. Very glad your parents were safe and that the incredible community is taking care of you all. It's kind of amazing how things work out, that their renovations hadn't begun. Still, it is a loss, and I hope they are holding up okay. Thank you for sharing what happened, because it hasn't really been in the news much and that's unfortunate. Best wishes to you all as you make your way through this.

I literally can not imagine the little town of pinecraft looking like that!! Blessings to you all!! the sky pictures were amazing!! What an awesome God we serve!!

Bless you for documenting this. It is unbelievable the devastation and the feelings of helplessness you all must have felt. Praise the Lord for his goodness and the community of helpers that have come together.
I helped my mom after my younger brothers and she lost a home to fire. In hindsight there are blessings to be gained through the disappointments of life. Rebuilding and being alive to do so is just one of them. We get awaken to just the human aspect of helping others through rough times, uniting for the cause together. It is a loss and we do mourn but we can laugh at the craziness of all of it too. Rising out of the water to a new birth or out of the ashes to revive again is a test of endurance and enduring to the end. God bless you all through the devastation and strength for the future of new beginnings. I have been wondering if you were effected by the storm when I heard it went through Sarasota. Thank God all are safe and alive. Prayers to you and your families.
Praying for all affected by Hurricane Debbie. Lynette, I’ve always felt that you were a special person. I love to see adult children help their parents. 🙏🏾

Seeking God to provide strength and hope, along with allowing you all to be His beacon of light and steadfast in His love and care so others can be reached for Him. In Him, peace and love. ❤
I'm sending you and your family my heartfelt prayers. Praise God for such a tight family and community you have there in Sarasota. You have no idea how many people you are encouraging by staying strong in your faith and by showing kindness in the face of adversity. I'm so sorry you all are having to go thru this sorrow. I can't begin to imagine the grief and hard work! I pray for your continued strength!

My heart just hurts watching your video for the whole community 💔. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. I'm praying that if whoever has home insurance that this is covered 🙏
It is just unbelievable how much damage has been done to this community. It’s heartbreaking knowing what all of these families are having to endure. Prayers for all. God bless all that have been affected. 😢
I was up there yesterday. It was very sad to see a lot of people stuff outside and it felt so quiet up there. 😢 we went to yoders for lunch and it was packed I was glad to see it was up and running and so was the ice cream shop. You guys do have a great community that helps each other which is great they all come together. 🙏🏻❤️
Brought tears watching this. I guess its a reminder that our wordly pisessions can be gone in a flash. So thankful all your family is safe. Prayers for your parents as they make decisions about the future. 💖
Our family lost everything we owned twice because of flooding from a hurricane and tropical storm. I still remember how thick the mud/sludge was. The smell is something you never forget. One of our floods was in August. We were displaced and had to stay at various homes until we could get it cleaned up. It took 4 months just to get clothes and household items replaced. Red Cross and Salvation Army provided very little. I hope their new home is everything they want it to be!
Love your testimony at the end of the video. I grew up in Florida and know how much rain you can get with these storms. My family was very blessed as we were high enough to never flood. Even when Hurricane Donna passed right over Orlando. Take care and remember you are loved.
Healing comforts Lynette for your parents and all your help you're giving them to clean up. It's a hugs emotional undertaking and thank God he is there to bless us with his grace and gratitude. Andy and I have been flooded three times and we know the mess, the smells and mud. My heart is breaking and truly touched by your video. Tears are filling in my eyes as I remember our experiences cleaning up after flooding. Now that we are older, we have flood insurance and hope it never happens again. Blessings to each of you and your beautiful family. Prayers and thanksgiving no one was injured. Bless your sweet faithful family. Love and Heart Hugs, Maria and Andy from Upstate NY.
I’ll never forget hurricane Harvey and the flooding we experienced in Houston. It was remarkable to me how mold and mildew grew instantly once the water receded. So much work and cleanup to follow. Thank goodness all your people are ok. ❤❤ Take care 💙💙
I am crying watching this, I am so sorry for all these people and your parents. May God help them all and give them comfort and help them to recover from this tragedy both emotionally and materially. 🙏💔😢 I’d be worried about gators and snakes! 😰
You are sooooo wonderful to share the rainbows with us........years ago my friend said that God sends rainbows to us to let us know He is with us and always will be.......such beautiful skies with rainbows.......thank you for sharing. many prayers are with you all and i also believe that your Faith will carry you through all of this.......life won't be the same,,,,,,it'll be better. God's Blessings to ALL of you.
The rainbow most of all is God's promise that He will never destroy the earth by flood again. He may let areas flood but never the entire earth again. That is what the Bible says. But you do have a great point!
Will continue to pray for your folks and all the people affected by Debby. After living on east coast of Florida for 4.5 years, the west coast (Tarpon Springs) for 2.5 years and Ft. Walton Beach for 23+ years, your video brought back a lot of memories - many not so good ones. I cried with your mom - it is hard, just plain hard. But, you save what you can and let the rest go - I would advise your mom to not be there when it's bulldozed - that can be extremely painful. Praise God for the rainbow and the sunshine.
Watching this, I cried. So much devastation for all of you. Lynette, I am keeping you and your family as well as many other families that were affected by Hurricane Debby in prayer. I understand the pain you are going through with this. Four years ago, here in Louisiana, we had Hurricane Laura and Delta. Where I live, in the small community of Reeves in Allen Parish, we suffered a lot of damage here. So, my heart goes out to you.❤🙏
Lynette I understand what you and your parents are going thru. I have been in a life threatening situation living in Leominster massachusetts a catastrophic flood that ripped thru my town back 2023. My property were surrounded by sinkholes but I survived. I’m glad to here your parents are safe and well including your family and yourself. May god be with you all.
I am so sorry your parents had to go through this. What a wonderful community you have and it warms my heart to see people helping each other. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope things will eventually come together for them.

You have no idea how many people you are encouraging by staying strong in your faith and by showing kindness in the face of adversity. I'm so sorry you all are having to go thru this sorrow. I can't begin to imagine the grief and hard work! I pray for your continued strength!
I live in Sarasota, and I'm great full that we did not have any flooding on our property. We don't live that far from this area. My thoughts and prayers go out to these families.
My heart goes out to your parents and all the residents that live around there that’s terrible🙏🙏 See on the next video have a blessed Tuesday night❤❤
I'm so sorry to hear about your parents home, and all the others. Praying for you all! ❤️🙏🏼
Oh Lynette, so much to take in. Thank the Lord for the protection of your parents. Sending you all prayers.
I'm so sorry for your parents. Thankful for the help from the community. My heart goes out to you all. ❤
Love your testimony at the end of the video. I grew up in Florida and know how much rain you can get with these storms. My family was very blessed as we were high enough to never flood. Even when Hurricane Donna passed right over Orlando. Take care and remember you are loved.
I'm so...sorry for all the cities and folks who are going through this. Hang in there everybody.
Thank you for showing pictures of the sky . Sometimes we forget that we must look higher than our circumstances.
I am crying watching this, I am so sorry for all these people and your parents. May God help them all and give them comfort and help them to recover from this tragedy both emotionally and materially. 🙏💔😢
I’d be worried about gators and snakes! 😰
My heart goes to your parents and all the people there that lost everything, god bless you all!!
@@brendacluney2052 thank you brenda for sharing with us....God is Good all the time......all the time, GOD IS GOOD!
So, my heart goes out to you.❤🙏
I'm so sorry about the loss your parents are going through. Your and their faith will lift them up through all of this.
God bless your family at this difficult time. We are praying for all that have been touched by this storm. God bless always.
So heartbreaking for everyone...So sorry and many prayers for all.💙
I am so very sorry for everyone. Thank you for showing us what your parents and neighbors are going thru. We humbly pray for you.
Awww so sorry for your folks and the community!😢I’ll keep watching your video over and over and all the ads to help! I’m glad they’re okay tho!🥰💕💕💕💕
I am so sorry your parents had to go through this. What a wonderful community you have and it warms my heart to see people helping each other. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope things will eventually come together for them.
