Wow that was a wonderfully simple technique that allowed for a beautiful finish love it I will definitely watch you more often looking forward to purchasing those ink pens
I loved this tutorial, in particular how short a time you spend looking at the front part of the darks (pupil) of the frog's eye. Like a part of the joy is discovering what is on the right side! Instead of looking for the "perfect" spot to use. Of course, your confidence is partially because of your skill, but also because of your knowledge, there isn't one perfect spot! I also enjoyed watching the portion with the Derwent pencils! CottonEyedJo Houston, TX
So much more than I knew before, thanks Emily, now I understand why I bought the 12 set of ink tense pencils, but its clear I sold myself short, need more colours. ❤
Just started binge watching your channel. Really like how you incorporate other mediums in your art. If you ever get the chance, research Zentangle art as it is a great way to get ideas on thread painting designs/free motion quilting. Thanks again - these videos are wonderful!
Wonderful tutorial..........OH.........You've mentioned in some recent past tutorials that you're thinking of adding a long arm to your Studio. What kind of needles will you be using?? I've been told that the Schmetz super non-stick needles won't fit a sit down midarm OR a stand up longarm, and are only made for domestic machines and won't fit these. Is this true. I'm also thinking of getting a sit down midarm.
Wonderful video! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. When you use the Intense pencils, will the colors hold up to being washed or should they only be used on projects that will never be washed or dried?
Thank you, love how that eye changed with the inktints.
Phenomenal tutorial❗
The inktense inks really make the eye come alive.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the video!

My experience is that they do fade, but we will experiment further and make a video about our results!
