This is a great use of the Gelli plate. I am thinking about getting a Gelli plate also but would be using it for a fine art photography based mixed media series to (hopefully) show at a gallery one day. Love that you show how it can be used for more than just textured paper printing for crafting. As long as you use archival products, thinking outside the box is how people make fine art!
I could watch your video again and again. I will! I love your video and art. I love stencils too. You surprised me when you used the hexagon stencil to make the edges on the door opening. Because I was thinking, oh no, not hexagons there, lol... bravo
Very beautiful. I like the fact that you can't really tell whether the children are walking TOWARD the light or AWAY from it. Makes you think. The only thing you can really say is that the light is casting a shadow. Love this video.

Awesome! I made my own Gelli plate and played around with creating a scene like this using a Masai warrior stencil! I am a novice so it didn't come out as well as yours but I plan to keep trying. I now have all the stencils you used and plan to follow your video step by step. Thanks for the inspiration!
