The world of Peridea made the story for Ahsoka really interesting

👍. I think so too. It could be coincidence, but Peridea is close to the word Peridot, one of the oldest known gems to man. It is also considered in a Biblical reference to be in the foundation of the "New Jerusalem." It is highly prized for balance and well-being of mind and body in some cultures around the world. It is prized for its clarity and bright green color. Found deep in Earth's mantle and in rare meteorites, it is generally rare and contains iron and magnesium, and is found in the volcanic rock, basalt. PERIDEA seems awfully close to the Avestan (pre-Greek) word Pairidaēza, a verdant enclosed park or garden, like the Fields of Elysium - the fields of the Gods'! I wonder if any of this figured in the naming of Peridea and if the Celestials imprisoned Abeloth there and she destroyed it. ???

Is there a political entity that's like the New Republic but has its act together or something worse than the Empire but has been successful for centuries? Maybe a little bit of both? According to Huyang, the Jedi Order knew about these intergalactic hyperspace lanes from tracking the migrations of the Purgills, and this information was stored in the Archives. The fairy tales that were told to Younglings might have been a deliberate effort to make them grow up believing that places like Peridea were mythical rather than real. This makes some sense. A galactic law enforcement organization isn't going to want the criminal element to learn how to escape from the galaxy entirely. But did the Jedi ever directly visit and survey Peridea? Were they perhaps involved in whatever happened to the civilization(s) on the planet? The Great Mothers reacted *very* badly to Sabine being associated with the Jedi and they were visibly displeased to learn that Baylan was an ex-Jedi.

    • @dybo3793

@@dybo3793 - Huyang is like 25,000 years old. He never said *when* the Jedi studied Purgill migrations, just that they had and that the records of these intergalactic hyperspace lanes had been in the Archives. Given that huge range of time, the Jedi could very well have launched expeditions to the other galaxy in the distant past so far back that even Yoda had no idea they had ever happened. But it may be why Jocasta Nu had such an arrogant attitude about things not existing if they weren't in the Archives. If she had found these records then it would have seemed (to her) that the sum of Jedi knowledge surpassed even that of the Republic.

Baylon's comment from ep 6 that he believes the futile cycle of war and destruction is fated to keep happening " . . .again and again and again . . ." nicely echoes Shakespeare's words in MacBeth's soliloquy a in Act 5, Scene 5 of the play of the same name. It begins: "-Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow . . . " going on to describe daily life as essentially a series of meaningless events, that the sum of our days is fleeting and ephemeral and the concept of purpose or higher meaning to our lives is illusionary.
He ends, saying about life: " . . . It is a tale / Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury / Signifying nothing."
Macbeth knows that his downfall is inevitable. The death of his co-conspirator and greatest support, Lady MacBeth, is when he realises his life has been pointless. He gives into despair and his own destruction. Shakespeare wasn't saying all lives are meaningless. He was saying those who lust for power for power's sake, especially those who use opportunistic or unnatural means to get it, they and their ambitions will come to nothing.
Baylon' words echo Macbeth not because he's despairing for himself but for the historical cycle of destruction caused by the struggle for the type of power he describes as "fleeting" and doomed to cause war and destruction. Baylon is disillusioned by all he has seen since arriving on Peridea and views Morgan, the Nightsisters and Thrawn, his ship and it's personnel all bit players in yet another grab at "fleeting" power. He seeks "A Beginning" as he believes Peridea is the key to a great power that could stop the endless struggles for domination and wars. What this power is and how it would achieve this we don't yet know. I hope we get another series.

They are known as the Dathmiri night sisters because they were located on Dathomir. Some say they named it that when they arrived from where ever they came from. The mystery of if they actually arrived there or it is in fact the actual home world is still a debate people are having. So despite them not saying they are Peredian night sisters means little. I mean legends say they come from a banish Jedi. The new lore seems to be saying something else. So who knows but only Morgan speaks of Dathmiri witches or Dathomir. The Great Mothers never really said they were Dathmiri or Peredian.

Ahsoka is the daughter the light side of the force as she was transferred into Ahsoka. Baylan is on a path that will grant his the full power of the son the dark side. They will both require someone to bring them under control but Anakin is balancing the cosmic force. This get Luke involved as normally even with Thrawn involved he has not use or desire to get involved in galactic politics at this time or another war between the republic and empire but this, this forces him to get involved and also gives us the reason that he was brought into this all because he will be needed to balance the living force as his father is balancing the cosmic force.

What a great group of likable characters! They keep adding more likable ones unlike Filoni's Star Wars full of boss ladies. Best cast in all of MCU. Better than anything from Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, and Guardians. I actually had a hilarious time with Russell Crowe's Zeus. Add all the great songs like hearing Dio's "Rainbow in the Dark" at the end credits of Thor 4.
One of the nicest moments was in Loki S1E6. Maybe it's just me but I kinda thought when we see He Who Remains bite an apple and pour coffee into two cups, it gave me ASMR vibes. So quiet. It was such a nice and cozy episode. I enjoyed the quietness of it all and watching Jonathan Majors acting goofy.
I think Thor and Loki will play a role in Secret Wars. We know Tony, Steve, and Natasha are gone but I believe who can carry MCU up to the end of Phase 6 will be Thor and Loki. Thor becoming Rune King Thor will save everyone. Chris Hemworth will make an appearance in the Loki series. I believe the Loki series ends right before we get Secret Wars in 2027.
We should all be paying attention to Thor. Spider-Man is not as valuable to fight against Kang if Thor ends up as Rune King Thor. They could easily reset it if they travel back to right before Sylvie killed the Kang variant. Prevent her from killing him. I know that happened outside the timeline, so perhaps Sylvie is the one to die at the end as she's the one who started it. Maybe erase her from ever existing.
Sylvie isn't likable enough that if she dies, fans will get angry. She's not on the level of Iron Man. Her popularity is probably no higher than Gamora and I don't remember anybody feeling really sad when Thanos was forced to kill her. Loki series is the key to setting up Secret Wars considering Michael Waldron wrote S1 of Loki and is the head writer for Secret Wars .
Who knows the future of MCU by this point? We're still 4 years away from Secret Wars. Chris Hemworth might get tired portraying Thor and he may want out of MCU like RDJ and Evans did. But I believe the cast from Loki should be the key as they should be familiar with Kang while Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Wanda are already familiar with multiverse.

My big question of the series is "Why is there a message about a Zeffo dark sider written in ur'Kattat on the wall of a Nightsister Temple in another galaxy, on a planet clearly once occupied by celestials?" If there is some sort of portal on the planet, why didn't the Great Mothers tell Thrawn about it. Or if they didn't know about it, (doubtful) why didn't Thrawn discover it.. Surely he at least charted the planet in the decade he had been there. Could it be that the Chimaera was a lot more damaged than we thought?
It's possible it was so damaged they had to land the thing to repair it at all. Which could be why they docked with the Eye at such a low altitude. That may have been the best they could get, given their damaged repulsors.

According to Morgan, the Nightsisters learned to travel between galaxies using the Purgill *very* far back in history. Hence the hyperspace lane between Seatos and Peridea. That ring system is vast, so the Purgill have clearly been going there to die for a long, long time. But the World Between Worlds may also contain a portal to Peridea, especially given the monuments to the Ones. There may be something powerful preventing it's use though.

Story pitch; the daughter is now walking the land of Peridia as a depowered celestial and will be found by those stranded as the helper in time of a natural disaster. The daughter took this form to contain the son in that temple and in anger the mother, aboloth, banished the daughter to wander and feel all that the planet had without much of her powers. To feel only the death and defeat but the planet itself takes some solace in the daughter walking the world and that’s what keeps it from being a complete graveyard. *Ahsoka* *Take* *Part* *2*
Hey Anakin, it would be nice to make appearances to your kids instead of this chick. Maybe that's why Luke started to lose faith with the Jedis. Not enough daddy visits. But Yoda appeared to him in TLJ.
When Tony Stark died to save an entire universe, there is a deleted scene of him with his daughter when she already got older. Iron Man had his own WBW moment. See? That's nice of him. Anakin appeared in four different forms in Ahsoka: WBW vision, flashback, hologram, and as a Force ghost. He only appears to Ahsoka.
Wouldn't it be nice to check on his kids? Nah. No apologies to Leia for torturing her and putting her boyfriend in frozen carbonite. No apologies for cutting his son's hand. BTW, when your mom died, that's on me! But let's keep appearing to this chick he only trained for less than 3 years because why not? Can make SW cartoon fans happy.
The Father, my ass. The Father is about balance. Anakin is not balanced enough to be a decent father to his biological children.
Anakin Skywalker: Such a horrible, annoying, overrated piece of shit character. But since he happens to be the Chosen One (Star Wars' Space Jesus), James Earl Jones' voice sounds so epic as Vader, wears all black, and Hayden can spin a lightsaber behind his back, everyone fawns over this deadbeat dad. Remember Hayden Christensen? Let's keep showing him for SW fans to fap to!
Listen, I'm a huge Vader fan. I know Anakin and Vader aren't the same person. Vader is the weakened state of evil Anakin while Anakin is potentially more powerful than Vader. Anakin got weakened by joining the dark side. But I just don't like Anakin. What's the big deal? Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen were piss poor as Anakin.
I know Nia (SW Theory) tries to defend Hayden's acting from the Prequels. That's a biased fanboy born in 1990 who still gets erections from the cool lightsaber duels from TPM and ROTS. Now he's salivating to get Maul back for Ahsoka S2. LOL! Hayden's acting was shit in the Prequels. Hence, his Razzies for them. He only got better in Ahsoka. In Kenobi which seems everyone has amnesia for which also he appeared in, he was just okay.
So Anakin brought balance to the Force when he killed Palpatine. Yeah, after 23 years being a slave boy to Palpatine and decades of fascism and genocide over innocent people. Whatever he did to redeem himself will never make up the evil he did next to Palpatine. If you're a Force ghost, why not appear to your kids and be their advisor? Help Luke rebuild the Jedi Order you helped destroyed. Why help that chick? Um, she's 47! Hello? Older than the age Anakin had lived.
Ahsoka Tano is right up there next to him as another overrated piece of shit character. She's not that cool or interesting except for kids who enjoy watching SW cartoons after school from 2008-2018. They have nostalgia for her. She has as much depth as a puddle of water. She is nothing special but Filoni will force push her onto us like Sabine did to Ezra. Stuff his SW daughter down our throats so females can cosplay as her.

      @orokusaki1243 Рік тому +1

      ::claps:: Love it!
Anakin never really bonded with Luke, or Leia, so that probably matters. He probably piggy-backed his force essence with Obi-Wan's force essence in order to see Luke on Endor.
Anakin did, however, bond with Ahsoka. Ahsoka still considers Anakin her master, not "former master".
The Skywalker saga is really "The Tragedy Of Anakin Skywalker", followed by "The Legacy Of Anakin Skywalker".
Not everything will make sense in Star Wars media..so much is pulled out of the writers' collective asses that it ends up with so many holes that it becomes a hole itself.

    Some interesting items:
    1. The Zeffo, the name is similar to the French word zéphyr, the word for a light breeze out of the west which is from the French form of the Greek name for the God of the west wind, Zephyros.
    2. Snoke looks almost like a Zeffo.
    3. The stone carving of the Father, could his outstretched hand, rather than only pointing at the far off mountain that seems to be reflecting or shining a bright silver light, have been holding a dagger?
    4. Ahsoka's sadness and concern about passing on darkness to Sabine, Grogu, and anyone she teaches was slowly killing her, like an illness. Both Ahsoka and Anakin serve as conduits for the Daughter and the Father, but also, the Son! I wonder how significant this is to Anakin and Ahsoka's developement?! Balance?
    5. The New Republic is very young. They were trying to exemplify the very principles of democracy in rehabilitating and bringing Imperials back into the community. You can not force democracy. To force it, then destroys it. You can not bring democracy theough lies and deceit, just as you can not make a right out of two wrongs. The cure of authoritarianism can not come through criminal means. The French Revolution became The
Terror. Retribution and revenge are blood letting, a cure worse than the illness. They needed awareness that was slackened by desire to leave the strain of the rebellion behind. This isn't a novel problem-how to bring freedom and equality without coersion to the recalcitrant?

      Just my thoughts,
First the Star Wars Galaxies have the the Cosmic Force and the Living Force which combined make up the Force. The Force = the energy field created by, and also penetrating and surrounding all living things, that was life, death and rebirth. This is why I believe that living beings can live in their space, or survive a short period of time depending on how strong their life force / Force-essence is. This would also explain how Princess (General) Leia survived In The Last Jedi when she was floating in space.
As for our space here on Earth, Scientists have found Living Bacteria on the exterior of the International Space Station. In fact there are over 250 different species of bacteria and fungi that can survive in outer space. (I Googled it. lol) So I would have to say if living bacteria and fungi can survive in space then decay would exists.

We can come back and see these characters fully into there new lives and ready to come to a head. Thrawn needs time to build his army, Baylan needs to continue his journey and even Shin, with her merry little band of misfits, needs to have collected a bit of power.
