- This is a tutorial on how to build a pneumatic prop step by step from start to finish. This was my first attempt and I just learned along the way. May the haunt be with you!

I love the way you made this video! Doesn't waste the viewers time but explains everything wonderfully. I'm a new fan :)
Thank you very much. I appreciate that
Holy crap I finally get it! Been watching videos until 2m for a week and a half now scratching my head.
I have always wanted to delve a little in the pneumatics but found it little intimidating thanks for this.
Pretty bad ass Chris, best prop video I've seen. Good way to explain.
Thanks for the picoboo input, I do all mine w buttons and sensors bc I didn't know about picoboo, thanks again.
omg "I WANT THAT" lol I do that every halloween
Great tutorial video. I am going to share this with my husband....he wants to build a pneumatic prop really bad. I subscribed! Thank you for the video.
Really like the information… I’ve been wanting to try pneumatics for a while… thx for the info….
thank you for taking the time to make this video and post it!
Ok now that's a cool prop!
Pretty awesome stuff there.
Do you have details on what you use to mount the cylinder to the swing arms, and what you are doing for swing arms attached to 2x4, I figure they are between 2 washers to allow it to still move without much friction.
Where did you get the solenoid valve
Video wasn't clear on the clevis mounting base or what was used to mount the aluminum bars to the cylinder
What are the specs on the solenoid valve? I looked at them online I dont understand what "Cv" means. Im new to it all but am very interested
Awesome, awesome, awesome, thank you!
dude fantastic video.
GREAT JOB
Happy Halloween scary
good Job
What did you use to mount your cylinder? Love your videos man
OMG I want that...fantastic
Hi, I would like to build this, but I have a few questions. What were the lengths of the wood and pvc and what air cylinder did you use?
Can you tell me what stroke air cylinder you used and was it single or double acting cylinder? Sorry I am new to this. Thanks, Ron
Do you have the length of the pipe/stock somewhere. I cannot find it in the tutorial.
Hey great video
How do you make that pvc scissor mechanism?
This will help me thanks
That's cool
Rhe link link to the programming seems to be missing.
Can you use a any controller
What would this prop cost you to make? Would you consider selling me the guts only? You are very talented.
I would love to make a corpselator pneumatic. I could only find an 'exorcist' one on the web. Seems pretty complicated.
Not really. It's still just one cylinder but the frame is different. Once having the frame for that, the only things different would be you need a "double acting" cylinder and a different solenoid. Either a 4 way or a 5 way, but the concept is pretty much the same. In fact, that's probably going to be my next pneumatic project
Nice prop what was the told cost
Well the prop controller was $90. Sounds expensive, but hands down completely worth it. As far as everything else goes, hard to say because it was my first one so there was a lot of trial and error and buying things I didn't need to
nice
*heavy breathing* i need to do this within a week....
I like
Sweet video very fun to watch! =)
Good stuff, what might be good is a parts list in description, great video though.
Quick and to the point. Thanks. Only suggestion would be to use a wireless mic (lav) so we can hear you better.
Nice video and sweet editing.
Thank you very much for the tutorial, now lets see if I can build it :)
Hey Jim! New Haunter here, I love your tutorial! Thank you so much! You helped us out a lot! New Subscriber!!! Thumbs up for GarageBand, I use FL studio myself haha
Well done. I second what Scaryladyvideos said.
Wow! Finally a video worth watching!! Thank you so much for doing this! I know NOTHING about how to work pneumatic cylynders and was really looking to learn and increase my knowledge on the subject. I've seen countless videos on UA-cam about this and NONE have been the least bit helpful. Just when I was losing faith in youtube humanity, I stumbled on to your video and finally got a lesson that made me feel like I might actually be able to make this happen!! Thanks man! I really needed this inspiration and guidance!
How do you make these types of props without an air compressor? Like ones you buy at the spirit store?
Motors, springs, and swing arms. Easy in theory but a lot of fabrication to get the mechanics working properly. I wondered the same thing before I started
I know this is a super late reply, but you could also use a Linear Actuator, it's an electric version of a Piston. They have the pros and cons, but don't require an air compressor at all.
What D.C. Mechanisms and controllers did you use?
Very nice video and helpfull.
I needed this class, thanks
You have anger issues 💥💥💥💥💥❗️❗️❗️
Very cool
How much did it cost?
how cool !!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice, send me one.
whats the web site you can buy the motion sensor ???
www.frightprops.com
great job!!
Tom Drury Thank you very much sir!
