For poly or nylon pipe all you need is a sharp knife to cut it, also the tee with the adjustment on is a flow valve so you can control the speed of the air source to the solenoid valve which adjusts the speed of the stroke along with the exhaust adjustment valves (the ones on the valve block). The plastic knob on the top of the solenoid valve just holds the coil to the valve stem if you undo it you can pull the coil off and change it to any voltage coil you require 12, 24, 110, 230 Volts etc.
Great video. I like the idea of a coffin or a monster popping out of a trash can. A jack in the box can also be very cool if you are into scary clowns.
You should hook a skeleton head to it, change the way the tubes go into the air cylinder so when it has air in it, the head will go upward from behind somthing and scare kids when you press a botton and also you can make a air blaster out of a fire extinguisher tank and a sprinkler valve. Good video.
OK, that sound simple. How would I cycle the cylinder fast enough to make the appearance of a banging monster thou? I might need a controller that can be programmed. thanks
We have an old wooden barrel here at the shop that would work for a pop out ghoul. Clowns as a child scared the crap out of me. My mom had a couple painted clown paintings in my room as a kid an she had to take them down. Thanks
I've thought of taking the coffin I made from scrap wood and putting a dressed up manikin in it and then add an opener to it. I think I would attach the top of the manikin to the door so that when the door opens the manikin sits up as well.
Try a monster or beast in a box very easy prop to builds and will scare the crap out of people just make a wood crate with a hinged lid and some chains for extra sound

230 volts sounds a little much for my taste
Thanks Rick for the info, very helpful , any ideas for a prop

I am thinking about a barrel one. I already have the old barrel and it seems like a good choice. thanks

You could do a barrel popper or a tombstone popper.
nice video, the screw on the solenoid is to get the solenoid off the valve.
