Fantastic creation! Exactly what I was hoping to see -- tattered burlap, rustic vibes perfect for an old west theme here in Arizona! Thank you for sharing your artistry with all of us! 😊 🌵
Right on, I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I really like this type of vibe for a scarecrow so I'm glad it reads well. It's my pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Awsome video my dude that's a wicked scarecrow I Started out makeing scarecrow masks plus scarecrow are my favorite monster creature fun fact did you know scarecrow's started out in Egypt.
Very good scarecrow build. I especially like how the hat turned out. I want to see a video of you making a squating Gargoyle with removable wings for attic storage in the off-season. Thanks!
Thank you brotha much appreciated 🙏 yes I have it on the list. I have a few projects ahead of this request but I'll definitely get to it. Thanks for watching
Yes, I was waiting for this build. I have a farmhouse built and I want another scarecrow. He's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you for this beautiful video🎃
I know it took me awhile to get this one out but I'm happy you enjoyed it. I wanted a creepy authentic scarecrow and here he is 😄 my pleasure thanks for watching!
I've started watching all your videos. I have skeletons and animatronics from several businesses. I've built two simple ones to start with, and that is quite a learning curve believe me. But I want to build the other props to go with them. This is where your videos are perfect for that. I already have two items to overhaul, modify and repair to learn on. Time to go back and watch more videos.
Right on and welcome!! I love reusing old props and bringing them back to life. Half your work is already finished and then you get to make it look even better than it originally was! Thanks so much for watching and good luck 👍
Excellent Job - as always! - and Thank You for the amazon link - anytime you wanna put a link to specific paints, the heat gun you use, where you get the Styrofoam heads - I would Gladly go through your links
The face you made was very good I wouldn’t have covered it in the burlap. Now if I had a big skull cheap which is how I’d do it, yet you had that nice airbrush work and those higher end quality work and eyes! Good sculpture work!
Thank you. I get what your saying fir sure but i really wanted to get that traditional look. I've made a few more since with the faces exposed and they're awesome. Wish I could share pictures here....
Thank you! That's such a cool build I can't wait to try it. No a blow dryer doesn't get hot enough to melt that plastic. Harbor freight carries an inexpensive one for about $12. They don't last super long but I've had a few and they definitely work. Another option is buying them used. Hope that helps. Happy haunting!
Nice work as usually. I subbed days ago. Anyhow I have been watching the videos ,but I see here a different clay being used. What is this brand and how do you like working with it?? I purchased Jovi air dry clay per your recommendation.
Right on and welcome! So in my older videos I started sculpting using jovi's air dry clay and honestly it's one of the best I've used. Dries super strong. The vampire head I sculpted was like rock. I use mostly foam air dry clay now because it's so lightweight. Really good stuff too but you won't get as much detail from the foam stuff. I get it from hobby lobby but there's no branding on the container. DAS air dry clay is also another great option. It has paper particles mixed in so the likelihood of it cracking is way low.
I used the large stake I showed at the beginning of the video and zipped tied it the the 2x4 base. If you search for silicone teeth mold on Amazon you see a few good options. I did sculpt over the teeth once I had them in place to make the points however.
Extra spooky. He would look good in any yard. Good tips on working with burlap.
Thanks.
Thanks man much appreciated 🙏

Very nice work and camera angles and explanations. I got some of my decorations outside and need a big piece!
Right on im glad the tutorial is easy to follow. Thank you! What kind of theme are you doing this year?
Awesome scarecrow Carvalho. I have a video suggestion, I definitely would like to see one on how to use a heat gun.
Thanks brotha 🙏 absolutely man thats a great suggestion can do!
You are welcome dude. And thank you, I look forward to seeing and learning from it.🙏

@Timetravel1111 absolutely I have. That show is awesome! Maybe one day 😄
He reminded me of the creeper
Yep you're right!
Amazing! I’m trying to make a headless Horseman and I was going to try the pool noodle thing but I don’t have a heat gun Will a blow dryer work?

My pleasure
What did you use for the base? How is it standing up? And where did you find the teeth mold? Thanks 😊

@CarvalhoCreations Oh sorry, I didn't see that part. 😆 And thanks for the tip about the teeth.
I’ve never had much luck with scarecrows. No matter how I try to anchor them, the wind always blows them over.
Yeah thats the tricky part. I ended up making a simple t base put of scrap wood and then weighing it down.
Could you make one of the spooky characters?
What spooky characters are you referring to?
@@CarvalhoCreations I have a character called candyfloss Fred (there's an image of him in my community tab)
How do I find that?
@@CarvalhoCreations I made a post so you can get a notification for it
Ok cool ill check it out
When did you make that?
A few months ago now
❤❤❤❤😂😊😅
Thank you!
Where did you get that stake from?
Yard sale. I don't know where they sell these in stores.
What are you making next?
In our next video I'm making candy corn monsters!!
Awesome build scarecrow looks amazing.
@gafarm1963 thanks so much!!
Good lord not u again dress shoe Freddy
