Hey Graya, thanks for posting this. I was wondering if you could help me with something? I'm running an i5 6600 with an MSI H110m Gaming, and I can't seem to enable my GTX 1060 6GT GPU. It wont show in device manager, and not detected when I try to download the correct drivers. I've done a BIOS update, still nothing. Is there a setting I'm missing here in the BIOS? Thanks
His A-XMP file was disabled so system running at the default 2133Mhz on 3200Mhz RAM, I would change that to enable if you want to use the full speed of your RAM. It is what you paid for.
Thanks for the video, ive been searching everywhere for someone to explain the settings. Question...how safe is it for the cpu long term to run at a constant fixed voltage compared to one that lowers itself automatically?. I'm just worried about frying my chip. Thanks again
With these new chip I don't find much point into overlocking and fixing the voltage. If you fix the voltage in a reasonable range, you might see some degradation over time. There has been talk on forums and some videos that show people have seen degradation. I wouldn't be to concerned about frying your chip unless you have outrageous voltage, I would keep in mind that eventually you might have to either increase voltage or reduce speed of the chip if degradation happens.
I don't know how this comment slipped thru, I do apologize. I hope this is fixed. You need a boot drive. If you haven't installed windows you need to get windows on a drive and then install it.

I had to update my BIOS cause I'm upgrading my CPU from a 1600 to a 5600 and the two biggest drawbacks in my experience are: 1. Can't save any custom OC Profile inside the BIOS due to ROM size like in early BIOS. 2. Other than those two points everything works as it should be, things are less intuitive overall, but works fine +reBAR.

You need a drive with a bootable OS. You might need to install an OS. If there is a drive with an OS you will need to select that drive as the primary boot device.
Here is the link to look up the bios version for supported CPUs. www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450I-GAMING-PLUS-AC#support-cpu I did need to make all the text smaller as the site on my laptop wasn't showing the bios column until I did that.
If you are using a Ryzen 3000 CPU you are unable to use the friendly ui. If you are on an older generation you can flash to a bios version before they switch to this UI.
You can download the older bios before the UI change, I think that is 7A40vA6 or before. Once you download that go into the bios and flash using that file.

Would prefer the newer graphical bios.
Thanks
Unfortunately no, To support the 3000 series they update to this old school look.
I had to update my BIOS cause I'm upgrading my CPU from a 1600 to a 5600 and the two biggest drawbacks in my experience are:
1. Can't save any custom OC Profile inside the BIOS due to ROM size like in early BIOS.
2. Live fan control and its graphical interface wich was way better and more intuitive no longer exist (You still can control fan speeds % in correlation to temperature, but it only takes effect when you restart the PC).
Other than those two points everything works as it should be, things are less intuitive overall, but works fine +reBAR.
Yes, when you don't have enough space they had to cut out some of the nice to haves.
Hello. I have a question...i have the same motherboard, with a AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor 3.60 and a Nvidia GeForce GT 730, i'd like to know if there is any chance to Enable the onboard video. I went to Bios, but i don't find on Advanced tab , the option "Integrated Graphics Configuration". Do i need an Amd Grahics or the processor need to have an integrated video? 10x a lot.
You will need an AMD CPU with a GPU to see it enabled. That would be a 2400G or 2200G or 3400G etc.

Ive got a r5 2600 and ive already flash my bios to latest. Is there anyway i can change it to friendly ui?
You can download the older bios before the UI change, I think that is 7A40vA6 or before. Once you download that go into the bios and flash using that file.
