- In this video i'll show you how to Unbrick OnePlus 8 Pro but you can also unbrick OP3, OP3T, OP5, OP5T, OP6, OP6T, OP7, OP7PRO, regular OP7T, T-Mobile OP7T, regular OP7TPro by downloading appropriate ZIP file for your device. The revive process is same.

Warning:
It is advised to take backup of /persist partition before crossflashing (eg going from International to Indian build) as fingerprint reader may give an error related to enrollment issue. You can do so by using dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist.img (you must have root access, which is not something I'm going to explain here) and moving it to your computer/cloud.

I have one plus 8t it does not boot up with black screen after changed slot from a to b through twrp . The computer does not recognize the phone yet . Shall I install msm tool and Qualcomm drivers to revive the phone ؟
Dude you're awesome, I just couldn't get my phone into EDL mode but with your method it worked right away. I had booked service request with Oneplus but now that I've recovered my phone successfully, it's all credit to you. My phone is OnePlus 7T. Couple more things I'd add here, if you see a yellow warning symbol in device manager next to your device you need to disable signature verification for drivers in windows. And if sahara communication failed message appears in MSM tool, you need to disconnect and boot your phone into EDL mode again. Hope this helps.

My wifi is not working on OnePlus 8. Apparently it's a software issue. Wifi connects for a while and if you restart your phone it doesn't connect anymore or even show the WiFi networks near you. Only starts working once I restart it multiple times or just factory reset it but even after that it stops working if I disconnect my wifi and reconnect again.

Make sure your phone is turned off completely! And try with latest UBS port!

Try several times! Without getting into EDL mode, you can't unbrick your device! When your screen turns black wait for a while, if it's restart then try again! You can't enter into EDL mode without completely turning off your device! also had some difficulties to enter into EDL mode 2nd time I bricked my phone! Keep trying it will work!

Hi I installed the latest update and this crash dump mode occurred, I'm really not sure if I'll be able to properly follow the steps mentioned above....so would it be better if I gave this to a service center?

Should I bear the expense, because this happened due to the update by OnePlus

If you don't have enough experience of doing these kind of things, it's better to avoid.

While following the steps (I think I did something wrong) I got a message that says: "your device is corrupted and cannot be trusted and will not boot" then now phone is not responding to any button even USB connection, just showing black screen without vibration or any indication if the phone is on or not. and tried to charge the phone using Wireless charger for whole day thought maybe battery was down but also still nothing

Did you downloaded the right file!? If so it should work! Double check your model number! If that still doesn't work try with a different OOS version from the XDA page!

There is no 11 as its still on beta! If you tried 10.5.11, then try with 10.5.4/10.5.6/10.5.8/10.5.10 those might work!

Hi Rakesh my doesn't turn on after the issue ,one plus service centre said it's a mother board issue and had to replace it costing 26000,

Good tutorial, unfortunately did not work for me as motherboard is broken so it will still boot into qualcomm dump. Need to replace motherboard but may help other people.
@Penguins of Madagascar I was working on my car and dropped a tool onto my phone smashing the screen. Unfortunately motherboard most likely got destroyed aswell.

Its not Oneplus fault! Any device can be soft bricked! It mostly happen when you try to install a wrong/corrupted file!

Make sure you have all the (usb) drivers for your phone! What's the model number!? I'll try to provide you the proper usb drivers for your device! Hopefully it should fix your problem!

If you downloaded appropriate file for your device it should work! If it doesn't work then you phone might be hard bricked! Sorry brother I can't help you! 😑
