This just happened to me. But once I entered fastboot mode, I pressed power button and my phone started completely normally again. Just wanted to share this so you may not have to lose your data

I tried but still stuck at boot. I had lineageOS 18.1 which is basead on Android11, so maybe doesn`t work because the fastboot roms only arrive at android10?

I have the OP7Pro, bootloader unlocked. Don't want to lose my data, because this fix erase your data so BEWARE !!!
So those who haven't the bootloader unlock, so no choice, sorry for you guys. :/
=> Well, if you haven’t performed any system-level tweaks but were still taken to this mode, then chances are you end up pressing the incorrect hardware key combinations that took you straight away to this mode. So in this regard, your next course of action is fairly simple- you simply need to exit this mode. To do so, press and hold the Power and Volume Up button for around 8-10 seconds.
Just open cmd and boot to TWRP and flash your rom :-)

My OP 8 pro dropped and it was alright i turned it on, used it with a broken back cover for more than a month but then the system storage took 72gb then the memory became full 256gb, which is impossible, the drop broke the phone os ? how ? but now i am stuck on qualcomm dump mode, i keep pressing all the buttons for 3-4 days now it still takes me to qualcomm dump mode, can someone please help? i haven't messed around with my phone os for it to get bricked it just dropped real bad thats it

It happens during installation of ROM which is incompatible with your device or even if you disconnected your device while installation of compatibile ROM as well
@@snebtech oh ok. I was flashing a custom rom for my phone but during the flashing process i noticed that flashing of system_ext.img file failed because "no such directory found" ( flashing through fastboot mode). Any idea what this system_ext is?

Is there any way to backup your data even if you are in crashdump mode, like post installation of msm drivers does the system recognise the phone detected and can we copy the data.
By hardware it is possible to recover ur data
I had to reflow the motherboard. The best way is to take it out and use a heat gun around the chip toward the solder paste. This isn't an easy procedure for someone who has never worked on phones but it isn't as difficult as soldering either. I got my device back to working as normal and would recommend new thermal paste for anyone who intends on keeping this phone
what did you reflow on the motherboard exactly ?
the chip right above the battery connector. This "solution" didnt last. I was only able to use the phone for about 3-4 days. I got everything I needed off of it but had to make sure it didn't overheat. These phones are trash tbh.

Same thing happend with my phone took it to my trusted repair person and he got my phone turned on but i am happy that i got everything off my phone using this solution oneplus phones are very unreliable

i installed pixel exp on my one plus 7 pro it installed fine and everything is working fine but randomly it goes into crasdump mode i have to force restart it and it works fine again until next time , so will this step fix it ? or just not mess with it

Only Edl Rom works If Qualcomm dump crash mode come, u are not telling them whole true brother, Your device Pehle se unlock tha, jinka crash hoga unka device locked ble hota hai
And uske baad bhi if they can boot into fastboot if they have locked bootloader and phone stuck in qualcomm crashdump mode they can first unlock their device and then flash the rom and i said clearly at start if u r stuck in qualcomm crashdump mode and still if u can boot into fastboot mode

@SnebTech I am having same problem in oneplus 6, i did reached to oneplus care and they suggested to me replace it motherboard system. Because it is only solution for Qualcomm crashdumb mode.

Go to any local service centre and ask them to reball the motherboard IC's .. It should work

Same thing happended with my OP6 running on stock android.. Tried MSM tool, but it is again going to crash dump mode after successfull flashing.. This is some seroius issue and oneplus is not acknowledging any queries about it... Many OP6 and OP6t users are facing this issue.
I guess reballing the motherboard might solve this issue... Will update if I get any leads
Hi, even my OP6 went into crashdump mode today. I went to service center and they bullshit me that it's a motherboard issue and it can be fixed by spending 16k for replacement of motherboard. do update here if anything works for you, even I am trying desperately to fix my phone.

Update: Oneplus offered me motherboard replacement free of cost after this tweet went viral. The issue happened on Oct 21st and they contacted me on Nov 13. However i had already given it to a local shop for repair on Nov 8th ,since i didn't get any response from oneplus team for almost 3 weeks. I took the device back from the local shop and took it to OP service center but unfortunately they rejected the free replacement offer since the device's back panel was already opened by the local guys (eventhough they havent done any repair🙃).
First crashdump mode happened in oneplus 6. Then it got off. And it is not opening since. Do you know how to fix as I have some important documents in it ?
