I have the Government mint set of 1967 coinage. This composes of the Lincoln Memorial Cent, Jefferson Five Cents, Roosevelt Ten Cents, Washington Quarter Dollar, and Kennedy Half Dollar. Yeah I'm am 99% sure I randomly found this, along w/ 2 1965 quarters. I actually think one may be silver cast. A 1967 which looks like it's been through hell & back. Also a 1971 which looks rough but may be a dbl cast & a 1974. Can any tell me if I might be sitting on something interesting?

No 1967 Washington quarters have mint marks, which are the "P"s and "D"s. I just came across one of my 1967s and it doesn't have any mint mark either. Trust me, it's normal :)
It's amazing how people passively listen to what is being stated in the video. The price commanded is high but it was stated there are only three specimens known at MS67+ grade. I was reading some of the posts below where people are saying they have one and got a quarter just as nice, but I say "Where's the beef!". If someone here has a 67 quarter just as nice then submit it to grading at PCGS and auction it off for 4 to 5 thousand dollars. Make sure to wave your hands to the collectors online in the blogs saying "Here is my nice MS67+ Washington quarter
Also, please consider why the quarter in question sold for such a high price. The issue is not that 1.5 billion quarters were minted that year. The issue is that no one cared to save any in real high grades and the majority used up and beat up. In coin collecting the game is rarity not mintage amounts. I don't care how many are produced. If no one cared to keep excellent examples of the said coin then great high grade examples will be scarce. For this reason one could have a very rare coin in a very high mintage. Time to rethink collecting my friends.
Sorry if it seems I am coming off in a critical tone here. I just want folks to consider thinking in a deeper way about matters of 'cause and effect' in coin collecting. Peace out!
David Manifest son of God . Mr. David I just started out trying to collect coins. And I may not know as much as you do. But I have a 1964 and a 1967 quarter, I believe looks somewhat like this. It's so very shinny and really no wear and tear.
Robin Minor Thanks for your reply. Being that you are just starting out in coin collecting I suggest the following: 1. Study and read as much as you can on grading and what is involved. When dealing with high mintage common coins grade is everything. Remember even coins that have wear on them can sometimes appear to be shiny and in a condition lower then what we think they are. 2. Get to know collectors and dealers in the business of collecting coins who have a track record of serving others and are honest. They will be fair and just with you and the coins you have. This man who does these videos seems to be a good hearted concerned individual who helps others. Justin the UA-camr at Coin OPP is a good guy too.
3. Never assume anything about your coins and the process of how to deal with selling them and buying new ones. The ignorant coin collector is the one who loses every time.
Start out this way and you should have a rewarding experience in coin collecting!
