Thanks for watching the video
let me know if you have any questions or suggestions :)
I like that you have the balls to have an opinion, 99% of the vids out there waste your time and end with, "there's no wrong answer its all preference." At the end of a 15 min vid I expect To hear Do this! most are afraid to have an opinion and make a suggestion cause someone might disagree in the comments.
Yeah why review something or make a video about it with no information lol
Darkstar wheels were legit back in their prime
Yeah, super screechy and fast
Gotta say, you're breakdowns on equipment and why you would choose one setup over another are the bext around. Thanks!
Durometer is part of the feel. The most factor imho is the urethane formula. Two 99a formulas can feel really different.
Bones powerslides in general seem to be too sticky and then slide like ice.
Many people prefer the super drifty wheels, like Spitfires’ OG 99a formula, and F4 99a formula.
Is there any other super drifty wheels? Haven’t tried Ricta and other wheels in a good while
Super detailed and super helpful. Good to know about the board companies that make wheels. I think 99 duro wheels are the most prevalent. For me 95A wheels are a great compromise for if you have to push on sketchy ground. Also for the money you can't go wrong with Mini Logo wheels. I've tried the 80A and 90A duro wheels and they were very good.
X97 are tha best for street skaters
I haven't try it yet but I'm going to
Spitfire F4 Classics. 53mm 99A. White. 🔥🔥🔥
I just bought som OJ Blues Super Juice 78a 60mm for di di mau cruisin'....you shoudl teach a college course on skateboarding 101...
i know few people who could be skateboard professor but not me LOL
Oh dam, just realized you're in T-town....I've lived there when I was a kid and skateboarded around TCC area! I'll stop by when I'm in town....
haha i used to go TCC ... we'll see you if you get here !!!!
The spitfire 99 a are plenty hard for everything at a skatepark. I would say research spitfire it's pretty impressive wheel I overlooked for bones. I am glad I got em they are especially resistant to flat spoting.
Hi! I'm actually having trouble of choosing which wheels should I get so I don't know if it's either spitfire or ricta wheels. Our street here is pretty rough so can anyone help me choose which is better?
are you mainly gonna skate at your street ??? so are you planning to go skateparks and different places??
@@2FTSK8 I'm pretty sure I'll mainly go street skating because we don't have skateparks here in my country
@@unstablequeen6175 I would say get 54mm(if you do a lot of flat ground tricks) but if not get 55mm or bigger..... and i would do 97a or 95a
I already bought the spitfire 56mm 99d, it works really well with the street here, thank you!!!
I've been through many bones and spitfire sets and prefer bones. However... My favorite wheels were a set of element wheels from a buddy's complete that he bought on a deal just for the deck. It's was around 12 years ago and I have never been able to find those wheels ANYWHERE! They were sooooo good! The closest I've found are the new bones formula X's. I still wish I could find those old element wheels brand new. They didn't have any ratings sizing on them and the graphic was almost completely plain, but they were a yellowish gum color. Perfect for EVERYTHING! Still love Bones though. Tried and true. Anyone else ever have a magic set of wheels they can't find anymore? 😂
I have some random brand wheels I got from ebay ... I used 5 sets for years and they were nowhere to be found .... I feel like sk8 industry is so fast changing we can't really have a favorite
I think I know the ones..
Can you review about the 97 99 And 101 spitfire idk which one I should get
what kind of skating you usually do??
@@2FTSK8 I mostly skate on Asphalt and crusty grounds.
@@carl2614 i would get like bigger (54 55 56mm) 97a or even 95a if the surface of you skating area is rough...
Great video. Covers all the important stuff: Size, Wideness, Hardness, Shape, Straight/Concave, and more!
The only board brand that I trust the wheels of is Dogtown
Yeah there wheels pretty darn good
You can try use some hard wheel like 103a and use shock pads, so you got perks of a hard wheel and still can ride rough ground like 99a
I personally like my board low so never use riser or pads
ricta wheels have always been my favorite wheel
Used to rep RICTA, but MINI LOGO are the ones I would recommend...better wheel for less cash & flash...c-cuts /Street.
I must say ricta used to be terrible but I like new rictas... n yeah mini logos are basically bones budget
Ricta solid pours were a close second but POWELL/BONES/MINI LOGO seem better from my analysis.
