A + B + C + D If you have AB, then breed with CD. If you have only A, then breed with only B,C or D in order to get an AB, AC or AD. All you have to do in fill in the puzzle and keep breeding up a trait at a time. Keep doing this until you eventually get one with all ABCD Passive Skills.
Adding to this, if you have 1 or 2 of the right traits, but on the wrong parent pal, just see if there's a mate with it that would result in the right parent pal but with no traits. These blank grandparents help copy the traits you want before directly breeding your target child pal.
Yeah I was breeding up a flyer and it took almost 100 eggs to get it to pop the passive combination of the parents. It kept popping mostly stuff that wasn't on either parent. Of course I have always had terrible luck with rng systems.
@@_pamz_.2619 There's plenty of combinations which can give you Sibelyx if you wish like Lyleen + Bushi, as for example. Find one with the skill you want and one without any skills. Note: Lily & Lyleen won't do. Lookup "paldeck mael tech", as for example, and search for Sibelyx there to get a list of possible parent combinations. There's also palpedia, look for "Breed" section there and scroll down to Parent Calculator.
@@_pamz_.2619 getting 1 passive is possible but you need parents with 2 or less passives each. the more passives they have the higher chances of mutations aka getting things you don't want. I have bred both anubis an digtoise so I can say for sure this works just takes time and luck
Less passives the better to get what you want. if you have a pal without anything the kid has a great chance of having only the other parents passives. More passives means it has a higher chances of mutations and getting stuff you don't want and the opposite is true less passives less mutations.
You said "almost always works the first time. Took you 12 eggs for the first astegon and 9 for the second. Your method doesn't seem any more efficient.
So this is definitely the fastest way of doing it there has been mini test done proving this. When each pal has only one stat on them there's about a 33% chance it will pass it to its offspring so this is going to take longer to do with one stat on each. However if you have two stats on each one then there's a 66% chance that they will pass down the stats. And the thing people have to remember is that you can't have more than two stats or the percentage drops low to like 16% chance and having the same skill on both parents does not increase the chances it actually lowers the chances of them being passed down., this is not the first video I watched about this and the one I watched before had a lot more mathematical stuff and show the results of hundreds of eggs and stuff like that so it was just a better video overall as far as showing the stats.
@@simoxeh I have not heard anywhere about chances lowering if both parents have the same skill, according to the spreadsheet i saw on reddit the chances remain the same if only one parent has the skill
I recently tried to breed a perfect shadowbeak, and 2 and 2 is absolutely the strat to go for. I probably bred 30-40 with a 3/1 good passive distribution and they almost always had some random mutation perk that I didn't want. 8-12 is MUCH more efficient. It took me maybe 4-5 tries after rebreeding my parents to 2/2 desirable passive distributions. If you don't believe me please try it and you will absolutely find that is the case with consistency.
@@Blufishii he means put the pals in the breeding farm that you want to breed, then go do other stuff for awhile outside of base or simply go "AFK - away from keyboard" for awhile. Come back, hatch all the eggs. Keep the ones that have what you want, and just sell or combine the ones that were shitty.
Just so you know, Workaholic doesn't have any effect on grazing Pals. Grazing is considered an idle task so their SAN doesn't decrease. Also, I don't believe any passives that boost Work Speed has any effect either. I, and many others on Reddit, have tested this and we saw no effect to their production. I've done 4 tests with Mozzarina with varying Work Speeds for 30 minutes each. They all produce the same amount of milk within that window (29-31 ish). The best passives, IMO, are the only two passives that lower their hunger. The remaining two can be anything you want. I prefer movement speed so that they can run to eat quicker and then get back.
I can’t swear but I’m almost certain my cows and chickens that have work speed boosts give me way more even before I condensed to 1 star. So this does seem a bit inaccurate. My woolipops with default speed produce a lot slower than both my cows and chickens and my lamball that all have artisan
@@bazar2021 The frequency is different for each Pal. For example, default Beegarde produces honey much slower than default Mozzarina or Chicken. Not sure about Woolipop since I never used them. Best to compare Mozzarina with other Mozzarinas, and Chikipi with other Chikipis.
@@silver-potato-kebab- yeah I compared cows to cows. Chickens to chickens but I said I can’t swear because I really didn’t test to see if that was unenhanced versus 1 star. The passive skill is what is supposed to affect the output right? So I’m def not saying you’re wrong. I might only be getting more from the ones I enhanced but that’s also the ones that had the highway work speed for me it’s impossible to tell. Guess that means I might have breed myself a perfect cow for no reason but thank god I can breed other pals with it lol.
i think the error you made was assuming having pals in ranch count as production, there's no bar/timer for ranch farming, only 4 starring will help in that situation.
I get your point but…Good luck finding the pals with the 1 desirable passive, let alone the opposite genders in a reasonable amount of time. This will take several hours to find the perfect scenario where you have the desired parents with 1 passive and opposite genders. This is far from a guarantee.
The passives are technically guaranteed, just not the ones we want lol. I've been breading out shadowbeaks for 2 days and hatched probably 300+ eggs, and have gotten maybe 10 with all the passives I want.
I've started saving at least one of each gender of each pal i find or hatch that is completely blank, that way if i have skills i want to pass on but they're on a different parent or both are males (for example) and then can pass those on down the line wherever needed or if any future breeding needs a blank slate
Somehow I caught a Ragnahawk with swift, ferocious, vanguard, and pyromaniac. It made it super op. At level 50 it has like almost 5,000 health, almost 1,000 attack, and over 800 defense.
If there is no progress bar, then work speed (Artisan/Serious/Work Slave/ etc) is useless. It would be great for pals who do tasks like watering, planting, handicraft, etc where you see a progress bar. Therefore my 4 maxed out chikipeas have Diet Lover: So they dont get hungry too much and spend more time grazing. Workaholic: So they dont lose too much SAN, but tbh I never see them drop below 99 even on basic chikipeas with bad traits Swift+Runner: When they do need to run to the feed basket, they do it quickly so they can get back to grazing asap Im gonna do the same for bees and cows next. If you agree or disagree, please comment and give me your meta and theories or tests.
You are correct about Work Speed not having any effect on grazing Pals. You are also correct about SAN not decreasing for them, since grazing is considered an idle task. I prefer having the 2 passives that reduce hunger, and the other two passive for movement speed so they run to eat and then get back to grazing quicker.
work speed does effect digtoise on ore nodes, but its hard to notice without heavy investment. a digtoise with the 195 work speed (passives: artisan, serious, lucky, workslave with +30% work speed via souls) vs a digtoise with no work speed/souls buffs which is base 70. in party: the base digtoise breaks an ore node in 50 seconds while the boosted one breaks it in 40 seconds. its not something you would notice easily unless you timed it. lastly the digtoise does get an increased damage via condensing from (in party)17-20s at 0 stars to 40-70 4 stars and (in base) from 1-2 at 0 stars to 7-8 at 4 stars so condensing will bump their effectiveness many times. work speed effects animation speed, but that doesnt always cross over for number of hits done to ore nodes. in the case of my anubis on a ore node(in party iirc idk how it would effect it in base) i gave the strange juice that made the animation faster, but not the time between the animations. so the tail end of the animation lasted longer then normal. a quirk of digtoise's animation is that the number of hits is linked to its animation speed, so work speed does effect it regardless if it's mining nodes, stone pits, and/or if its in the base or party.
I am now correcting myself as I have done further testing and work speed DOES speed up the production animation of laying an egg(s) at end of every cooldown. So a 6 second animation per hatch can be reduced significantly if u invest in work sp ed passives. I am now selling all my chickens and cows and just buying milk and eggs with money. Selling cooked berries or nails is so much mor efficient. You should focus Artisan / work slave / Serious / Swift on BEEGUARDS as u cannot buy honey from a trader. I noticed sanity does not drop on grazing animals and eating a salad should fix any sanity issues.
I don't think passive skills have any effect on the work speed in the ranch. So trying to stack workaholic and artisan on a Mozzarina doesn't affect how quickly it drops milk.
@@HohaHola7 Have you spent half an hour personally testing if it works? I spent a whole day breeding a high workspeed Chikapea, and saw literally zero results. I put down one chicken in a base that has nothing but a ranch. The first chicken has no passive skills, and is level 1. After 15 minutes, I had 10 eggs. I did the exact same test with level 39, Artisan, Aorkaholic, and Lucky. After 15 minutes, wouldn't you know, there were only 10 eggs. The exact same result. I'm saying "I think" because I have no hard evidence to prove the truth, I don't know how to datamine the code, and I don't have video proof of my results. I strongly believe I'm correct, you are incorrect, haven't tested your theory, and you're just believing what people tell you. I say "I think" because I cannot guarantee I am correct, even though I have tested my theory and have seen other people corroborate my results. You say "I know" with absolutely no proof, telling everyone else they are wrong with the zero reasoning. What does in fact increase work speed, is condensing your pals. If you by any chance manage to get lots of work speed traits on a certain chicken, then also condense it in the pal condenser, you are just confusing the reason that you have higher resource drops. Condensing your pals, (almost) doubles the resource drop frequency at the ranch. It even says so in the flavor text, you just need to read it with your eyes. Level 2,3,4,5 ( ⭐ -- ⭐⭐⭐⭐) will increase the ACTIVE skill of your pal, which is the skill that they use when they are at the ranch. Active skills are the ones that are unique to the pal species not the individual pal. It is shown in the white box underneath the pals image on the left of the pal screen. Passive skills shown on the right of the screen underneath the stats have nothing to do with active skills and vice versa. I know your small, angry, Immature, brain probably can't comprehend this level of analysis, but I do hope you read this and realize you are just straight up wrong, even though you were so confident about being correct. 😂🤣
@@HohaHola7 If English isn't your first language, I forgive you. a statement saying "I think the universe is infinite and never ending" is not incorrect because it's scientifically provable. I think you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to stats in this game, and should stop spreading misinformation.
Best worker skills are Artisan, Work Slave, Serious, Lucky/ Conceited. Sanity and Satiety you can get around by using Pizza for food and a high quality spa, as well as the better beds. No need for 3 out of the 4 "best" you mentioned in the first minute.
that was just a video editing issue I changed my grizzbolt. It was funny cause I was wondering my it wasn't making eggs so I had to go double check and change the correct option
It does. They work faster and u really can see the numbers go up. I use artisan, conceited, work slave and serious... Work speed only with the skills .... Production like eggs and company it may help to cuz the lucky chicken lay more eggs than a regular one
@@fabiooliveira4605I have a Chikapea with artisan, work slave, and workaholic. I did a 15 minute timed test between two of my chickens there were no other pals to pack away or eat the eggs, only one chicken in the ranch. The production did not change whether it was my level one zero skill chicken or my level 39 artisan chicken, they produced the exact same amount. The only thing that increases the ranch work speed of pals is the pal condenser, which it says so when you're condensing a pal. When you upgrade to the next condensation tier, it'll show the active skill (mount, damage buff, healing, ranching ect.) leveling up to 2,3,4,5. Condensing your ranching animals to increase their speed is the only way to make them provide resources faster. You can kind of tell just by the way ranching works in the game, the code doesn't consider it "work speed" per say.
I don't think that's a rumor, you can test it for yourself. It's pretty easy to test, I spent a whole day trying to breed a good Chikapea before I realized it actually just did nothing.
It does affect production, just not in the way you'd think. Each egg/milk they lay has a 6 second "cast" time. The workspeed makes that faster. So, every 60 seconds, they lay 1 egg. That egg takes 6 seconds to lay. You'd hope/think the workspeed would make the 60 second faster, but it doesn't 💀 Also, when you increase the level of the chicken/cow, what it does is give it a chance to lay another egg. This egg also takes 6 seconds to lay. So, if you proc say, 5 eggs, that's 30 seconds of laying eggs. Therefore, workspeed could be useful for rank 5 pals, since you could cut down that 30 second window tremendously. That being said, cows and chickens are just worse than berry farming and vendoring them for money, then buying eggs/milk :(
It's a good guide for breeding, I'm just not sure which skills I want my pals to have. Thought hooligan was bad, but it depends on what you want the pal to do. I want my boss fighters to have it, especially for the legendary boss fights at max level. Hooligan, aggressive, musclehead, and ferocious are all good for the fighting pals. For your speedy mount, swift, nimble, runner, (legend too but I haven't seen any of those yet) are all good. Some of the other skills are specific for the type of damage you want to either protect the pal (or character) from or make it's attack stronger against that specific type (lightning, ground, etc). Getting a male and female are difficult sometimes, it's random so I usually have ten decent females and zero guys. It is fun though!!!!
Swap out hooligan and aggressive for burly body and lucky and you will get the same attack boost without the defense penalty. Burly body will give an extra 20% and now you’re not taking a 10% hit but you’re still getting 65% boost to your attack 15% to work speed and 20% to defense. That’s gonna be a better battle combo. I would honestly recommend swift over 4 Attk/defense passives as well since movement is the best way to stay alive against bosses.
@@bazar2021 this is something I've googled but haven't found an answer for, swift and runner is actually useful in fights? I've found some comments on reddit saying it only affects mount speed
@@SuryaGupta-te7fq that could be true, I try to make sure I get swift on all my birds or anything else I’ll actually be riding from time to time though. It does feel as if it makes a diff but that could also be due to the kind of armor I was wearing most of the game. I wore mostly pelt and soon as you put on metal armor it makes you move a bit slower. You could swap out swift for lucky though if you want that 15% work speed and attack, or something like Legend. I just know I once tried flying a vanwyrm cryst that didn’t have swift and it was the worst experience of my life lmao. Birds are SO fuckin slow without movement passives. I kinda wanna breed one with 2/3 movement passives on my next play through so I can try and go through the game with a Jorm ignis as part of my team. The last part was probably confusing but I mean if the bird is fast enough I can just avoid fighting anything around volcano since they’re all 30+

For now I've hatched over 150 eggs trying to get nimble swift legend and runner onto frostallion noct, and I've been slowly going crazy with my bad luck. Both parents have these traits so I cant quit now, hopefully I get what I want before 500 eggs
@@SuryaGupta-te7fq damnnnn I’ve never tried that many times to get my 4. I go for ferocious musclehead burly body and swift. Recently started to include lucky instead of swift for a change, and my worker line is artisan serious lucky and the 4th varies. I take either work slave workaholic or diet lover as the 4th. Honestly tho I stopped trying on beacon after about 10 hatches and I stopped trying on my warsect after like 60 hatches lol. I condensed the warsect to 3 stars and I still have yet to crack one with the main 4 passives I use. The one on me team has ferocious burly body musclehead and serious. I kept it because I use it for handiwork help at the base sometimes anyway & the natural def is pretty high on them. To make it easier I use one of the pals that I already stacked all 4 onto when trying to breed other pals. If there’s no direct link I breed the next pal in line and get that to have atleast 3/4 before I try getting all 4 on the desired pal.
for workers is ok this method but for attackers it's harder if you want to have perfect iv's ...as for now my approach is to breed as many perfect iv's as i can then select the ones with the desired passive skills so the breed (similar to this vitdeo) continue until the perfect iv and desired skills are in the same pal but the main difference is that for the skills i have no control so only rng there ... But after all of that i'm already able to make the perfect one with full stars so in the end isn't a bad deal
Bro you couldn’t have breed that grizbolt with that frostalian noct cuz they were both male, lmao tell me someone else noticed that he faked that breed
This video is pretty disingenuous all around. Bad impression as well, because before I could comment I got a pop up that said "positive vibes only" Which, in my head, means he can't really handle being called out
@2:45 skips over the countless times he bred to get a male GB and a female FN with the single passives he wanted lol...I just found that funny as a frustrated breeder myself, but Ty for the insight I'll try single passives breeds and observe the results
I've been trying to get, workaholic, lucky, artisan and work slave in one pal with mining and it's been a nightmare because I frustratingly have not been able to find a female with workaholic 😫 and I've also been trying to merge a rideable flying pal with swift runner and nimble and I've made a pal just not a rideable one yet
legendary is owned by the wild legendary pals which is only passed down via breeding and lucky is owned by wild shiny pals (the big ones with a glowing aura) its the same deal, you can only get it on other pals by breeding or finding a wild one(not all pals can be shiny though). sorry you will never get them randomly (via breeding or wild) without a one of the previously mentioned pal types being the parent(that also have that passive). the way they are put on other pals is by breeding down to make the needed parents. in other words breed the passive down to a lesser pal that then can be bred to a parent pal(s) for the pal you want the passive on. do know that stats like boosted max hp and so on that the wild legendaries/alphas have are not passed to their child nor will you hatch one with them, same with the size. so if you want them with wanted passives and the boosted stats you got to catch the wild ones over and over you can not breed into it. there is a website that shows every pal pairing and what those make it has both where you pick the parents and see what it makes, looking at the child and seeing a list of what parents make it, and a family tree like one where you can pick the pairing path going from the wanted pal, picking their parents and going down. you get the idea.
“For best chance of getting 4 particular skills you want have two on each parent.” Even better guide as only 2 seconds long not eleven and a half minutes of waffle.
He wanted a mozzarina but he was breeding the astegon how to go from the astegon to a mozzarina skills since Mozzarina + Astegon = Elphidran I'm more confused now
Isnt work speed on farm pals useless? It actually doesnt speed up how often they dig items, just speeds animation. Imo better way would be another san/hunger passive.
For ranching, yes work speed has been tested to be useless if youre trying to make a ranch pal produce faster. The intervals they produce items are consistent regardless of their work speed and is only affected by their passive level. Doesn't invalidate his video per say although lazer does seem to be really stretching for all content possible and for a lot longer videos that could have been shorter. Not sure if thats his style or he just really wants the YT algo to push his videos. Also, every pal seems to have a base work speed of 70, which seems to be multiplied by their work level (lv 2 no passives works faster then Lv 1 artisan) and with Artisan, Work Slave, Serious and Lucky, I have gotten as high as 150 work speed with food buffs (salad, pizza, chikipi saute all buff work speed 30%) it goes up to about 187 or some odd. I think the only two necessary are Artisan and work slave, and two supporting skills. Havent done testing to see if diet skills are better then san saver skills as the less they eat, the less San they get from eating so if you crank the monitoring stand could it be sustainable
I would like to get a pal with Ice Emperor , Fire Emperor ,Legend & Thunder Emperor ...but that's nearly impossible ..can u do a video on how to get other pals to get the legendary traits that u get from blazemut, frostallion & Jetron... I been trying this and somehow my Penking has Legend & Ice Emperor (idk how it got ice emperor but i heard that the legend trait can be passed to other pals) can u do a video on that
you breed down there is a breeding website that shows what they breed with and what it makes, both used as a parent and what pal combine with another pal to make X child. you basically want to breed the wanted pal to make a child that can then pass it to something else. there is also a pal family tree kind of UI too on the same website so start with the one you want and work down. it would be better using this website over doing it blindly. what you want to do is get pals with the wanted only two traits on one parent and the other two on the other. the more passives they have the more likely the child will mutate and not have the passives you want.
Idk, man. The parts you cut out of your video are the parts we need to see. How long did it take you to find the parents of the right gender with the right passive skills? How do you know thats faster than just breeding two astegons together and filtering out the passives you don't want? You dont really show us how its faster

I had this issue My incubate time was at 0 and it still required time Once I saw people were hatching instantly I knew something was up I went to my settings and moved it up and then back to 0 Eggs hatch instantly now
Okay but how are you picking up these pals so easily to drop them in the breeder T_T I'm trying to breed an Anubis and the second I drop him on the base, he zooms off to do a task and I can't even lift him lol
The amount of time spent preparing the two pals to have just the four passives (2 each) can arguably be equal to the amount of time spent breeding "regularly." You obtain fewer pals for essence condenser, so you end up still breeding the same pals even if you already have the one you want just to upgrade their partner/work suitability skills.
Honestly this was my experience, I spent lots of time getting 2 and 2 and it still took like 20 eggs after the fact to get the ideal passives. Just shot gunning it going with 3 and 3 or even 3 and 4 I've gotten what I wanted in less than 40 eggs which saves time trying to breed 2 ideal ones. Now if the garbage sets me up for an ideal 2 and 2 I do it. But I don't go looking for it
yeahhh... but why would you breed a cow? i just watched a video telling me that even a maxed out cow is always worse than farming berries and buying milk... like, more milk per hour or per pal worker slot...
As far as I know, all worker skills like Artisan are a waste for ranch pals. Workaholic is worthless for any pal, if you provide high quality food, and only big worker pals could benefit a bit from Diet Lover. My Mozzarinas are beasts as fighters, Ferocious, Musclehead, Burly Body, and Lucky :D
Mozzarina is a bad example for this. Just like any farm animal, onky theor "produce poop", gets sped up by work speed at all, plus farm animals not really "worl hard" and lose a lot less sanity thsn other workers. Especially logging and teansporting personnel seem to lose sanity faster in my experience.
Method is about right. What you are breeding for is absolutely wrong. First off, artisan on a Cow? Ranching does not use work speed. Its a stat that does nothing for those in the ranch. So Artisan as a trait that increases work speed does nothing. For ranching animals that you intend to use in the ranch only the best trait combo is Workaholic, Positive Thinker, Diet Lover, and Dainty Eater. The main problem is that it isn't worth it. Ranching sucks for resources or gold income. The only pals worth using in the ranch are Vixies, Cremis, and Syblix. Vixies for spheres early on which is huge. While vixies can be leveled up to produce mega spheres on occasion, like 10% of the time at 4 stars, the issue is by the time you are high enough level to use a condenser the mega spheres aren't as useful. Cremis are useful early for wool to get cloth which you need some of. Cremis produces wool faster than lamball so it is the best pick early game for wool. However, it isn't a money maker in terms of proficiency when compared to other money making methods. Since base space and pal space matters, picking the most efficient pals is HUGE. Ranching is a horrible waste of space for a late game base. So use Vixy(ies) and Cremis(ies?) early for spheres and wool. Then drop them and the ranch once you no longer need it. Rebuild it when you can get a Syblix to put out high quality cloth. Which means late game the only useful animal on a ranch is the Syblix for that high quality cloth. It is decent for late game income sort of because you can't buy it from vendors. It is far more efficient to buy eggs and milk and sell anything else, even berries, than to produce eggs and milk from the ranch in terms of money efficiency. So wasting time breeding any of the ranch items is pointless. Mining companions are almost as bad. Again, work speed doesn't affect mining NODES, but does affect mining stone at the mining site you build in a base. This is true of logging as well as mining. If you need stone then Artisan, Work Slave, and Serious are the best traits to produce as much stone as possible. Toss in workaholic to balance it out. This is the perfect combo for any other base companion. You want WORK SPEED as high as possible for maximum efficiency.
work speed does effect digtoise both in base and party but its very small difference and hard to notice. i have tested a digtoise with 195 work speed (max WS souls, passives artisan, serious, lucky, workslave) vs a digtoise with 70 work speed (no WS passives or souls) both are 0 stars. against an ore node in party: base digtoise: 50 seconds. work speed digtoise: 40 seconds. it should be noted that they do more damage to nodes when they are condensed in base they go from 1-2 at 0 stars to 7-8 at 4 stars. in party its 17-20 at 0 stars to 40-70 at 4 stars. why is this? simple work speed effect the animation's speed but not the cooldown for them. for example anubis with the same WS passives above and strange juice had over 900 work speed, while the animation was speed up, the time between attacks didnt change. digtoise's animation does multiple hits while in the animation so if its sped up more attacks fit into the animation's time frame so it does more damage during the animations. idk if there is other mining pals that do multiple hits like digtoise but im sure it would apply to them as well. two reasons for the difference between nodes and the stone pit. 1 is the change in animations for mining nodes vs working at a stone pit. pals in the stone pit use a pickax animation and not an attack animation (some exceptions), the former have a short animation and cooldown due to that. 2 stone pits aren't using damage to calculate the amount earned it scales only off the suitability level and work speed. mining nodes have a set amount of HP and damage done factors in the amounts dropped when enough damage is done. i only researched ore nodes, but they have 4500 hp and drop 40 ore (any differences are due to the ore falling out of the map) you get one ore every 112.5 damage if you do 225 you get 2 ore etc. (its really just 4500 divided by 40)
The less unwanted skills the better an 1 to 1 then 2 to 2 works good if you use a pall with 3 skills it seems to take longer. and pals with no skills are handy to transfer that perfect set of skills ta another baby like my perfect lucky, legend, musclehead, ferocious foxparks can get them on pengullet or lifmunk
There are mods, and I cant say he's not using them. But multiple sources do suggest that using two parents with 2 of the 4 skills each gives you the highest chance (RageGamingVideos estimates about 20% vs i believe 3% with all 4 on one parent) I enjoy Lazer's content but God damn does he take forever to explain it. Good info, just does not respect viewers time and drags it out for 8+ min You can always set an egg incubation rate to 0 and they hatch immediately putting into an incubator. I used to do that too until I needed more dupes of them. Using the Left Click glitch, I can dupe the exact egg and get copies for free from the same egg. I find it more effective then making 116 cakes to breed all the dupes then just get like 12 eggs and come back to them each time they are about to hatch. 12 eggs vs 116, thats a ton of materials I dont have to farm or cakes to cook and time to wait for breed (approx 5 min to generate an egg give or take)
@@nothingjustdust5617 Im not saying its bad videos, Im just saying he dragging it out for what I can only assume is YT algo reasons. This man takes forever to explain anything xD

Brilliant summary
Adding to this, if you have 1 or 2 of the right traits, but on the wrong parent pal, just see if there's a mate with it that would result in the right parent pal but with no traits. These blank grandparents help copy the traits you want before directly breeding your target child pal.
This is why I hate youtube lol ppl make 11 min videos on such a simple thing and you have to skip through it to get to the point.
But what if you have say A and a bad trait, but you want A to go with B and C without that bad trait?
@@cg_9745 keep breed it, there is still a chance that the baby not inherit the bad trait
Its a good guide on breeding but guarantee means in a predetermined amount of time and you still rely on luck especially with the final breed...
Yeah I was breeding up a flyer and it took almost 100 eggs to get it to pop the passive combination of the parents. It kept popping mostly stuff that wasn't on either parent. Of course I have always had terrible luck with rng systems.
@@mrhappykillz8450 how can I get a pal to breed with only one passive? It’s impossible I need sibelyx with only artisan but I can’t do it
@@_pamz_.2619 There's plenty of combinations which can give you Sibelyx if you wish like Lyleen + Bushi, as for example.

Bro getting the initial passive skills + correct gender is the main problem. Breeding is not the problem we are facing lol
Well from his video it's 2 males so I guess gender dosnt matter and hear I thought it did
@@reapersasmr5483 i think he didn't notice or just did it to show the passives number as less passives means less changes of mutations
Less passives the better to get what you want. if you have a pal without anything the kid has a great chance of having only the other parents passives. More passives means it has a higher chances of mutations and getting stuff you don't want and the opposite is true less passives less mutations.

Add on trying to pass down a specific attack and it becomes an rng nightmare
You said "almost always works the first time. Took you 12 eggs for the first astegon and 9 for the second. Your method doesn't seem any more efficient.
It's not.
I’m gonna try cause it takes me like 100 eggs to get close before I give up
You got so lucky that your Astegon genders were different..
Just do AFK breeding and the ones you have leftover use them for infusing
thats how my frostallion norturnal is at max level....
What is afk?
@@Blufishii he means put the pals in the breeding farm that you want to breed, then go do other stuff for awhile outside of base or simply go "AFK - away from keyboard" for awhile. I prefer movement speed so that they can run to eat quicker and then get back.
yeah grazing pals only produce more at higher ranks
At level 50 it has like almost 5,000 health, almost 1,000 attack, and over 800 defense.
i have a jetragon with 3 stars lvl 50 boss, with 6k health, 1400 damage and 1100 health lol it’s so insane
Im super high and watched this realizing how long of a grind it’s gonna really take to even get all that with the capture / materials / etc
So, 11minutes to say:
a+b=ab
c+d=cd
ab+cd=abcd
Good thing I have so many spare Frostallion Nocts... was wondering what to do with them...
If there is no progress bar, then work speed (Artisan/Serious/Work Slave/ etc) is useless. It would be great for pals who do tasks like watering, planting, handicraft, etc where you see a progress bar.
Therefore my 4 maxed out chikipeas have
Diet Lover: So they dont get hungry too much and spend more time grazing.
Workaholic: So they dont lose too much SAN, but tbh I never see them drop below 99 even on basic chikipeas with bad traits
Swift+Runner: When they do need to run to the feed basket, they do it quickly so they can get back to grazing asap
Im gonna do the same for bees and cows next.
@@azurephantom100 Yes, Work Speed does boost miners.
Doesn’t it take way too much effort and time to breed good working pals instead of just enslave the best u already have?
"You're doing it wrong!" Nope, I wasn't... nor are most of the people that chose a video like this. Bit insulting...
I don't think passive skills have any effect on the work speed in the ranch. So trying to stack workaholic and artisan on a Mozzarina doesn't affect how quickly it drops milk.
It does.
"I don't think" yeah bro is not something that you can have an opinion on. It's just a fact
Still, the title is kinda bait since he's saying "guaranteed" but still there is RNG involved.

I didn’t know Charlie Day played Palworld
Just a question. The frostallion Noct and Grizzbolt you threw in were both male. How were you able to breed from that combo?
that was just a video editing issue I changed my grizzbolt. It was funny cause I was wondering my it wasn't making eggs so I had to go double check and change the correct option
So the rumor is that those passive skills dont affect farm animals' production
@@fabiooliveira4605 no it’s been proven they don’t lay eggs etc with faster work speed.
It does affect production, just not in the way you'd think. Each egg/milk they lay has a 6 second "cast" time. The workspeed makes that faster.
So, every 60 seconds, they lay 1 egg. That egg takes 6 seconds to lay. You'd hope/think the workspeed would make the 60 second faster, but it doesn't 💀
Also, when you increase the level of the chicken/cow, what it does is give it a chance to lay another egg.

If you look closely they were both male anyway.
this works for passive skills, but if you are ignoring the pals iv's you are still breeding wrong.
How do you get the legend skill on different pal
I've been trying to get, workaholic, lucky, artisan and work slave in one pal with mining and it's been a nightmare because I frustratingly have not been able to find a female with workaholic 😫 and I've also been trying to merge a rideable flying pal with swift runner and nimble and I've made a pal just not a rideable one yet
Could u please explain how I can guarantee lucky or legendary with this method without cross breeding pls
legendary is owned by the wild legendary pals which is only passed down via breeding and lucky is owned by wild shiny pals (the big ones with a glowing aura) its the same deal, you can only get it on other pals by breeding or finding a wild one(not all pals can be shiny though). sorry you will never get them randomly (via breeding or wild) without a one of the previously mentioned pal types being the parent(that also have that passive). the way they are put on other pals is by breeding down to make the needed parents. in other words breed the passive down to a lesser pal that then can be bred to a parent pal(s) for the pal you want the passive on.
do know that stats like boosted max hp and so on that the wild legendaries/alphas have are not passed to their child nor will you hatch one with them, same with the size. so if you want them with wanted passives and the boosted stats you got to catch the wild ones over and over you can not breed into it.
there is a website that shows every pal pairing and what those make it has both where you pick the parents and see what it makes, looking at the child and seeing a list of what parents make it, and a family tree like one where you can pick the pairing path going from the wanted pal, picking their parents and going down. you get the idea.
Best explanation yet much appreciated legend! Time to cook
“For best chance of getting 4 particular skills you want have two on each parent.”

Isnt work speed on farm pals useless? It actually doesnt speed up how often they dig items, just speeds animation. Imo better way would be another san/hunger passive.
Pretty much invalidates his whole video
Numbers go up a lot faster but i use all the work speed skill it goes to 147 work speed
Example my 147 work speed fire gyarados😅 do the cakes and melt pal metal way way more quick than the regular 70speed
@@fabiooliveira4605 Yeah, for these jobs work speed works. But for farming, breeding, mining (works just for sites)... not.

Wait a minute, how in hell that incuvator is getting those incubations so fast? or there is a cut and shot clips?
He changed his settings
Idk, man. The parts you cut out of your video are the parts we need to see. How long did it take you to find the parents of the right gender with the right passive skills? How do you know thats faster than just breeding two astegons together and filtering out the passives you don't want? You dont really show us how its faster
Workrate doesn't effect herding so cows don't need artisan
Very helpful thank you
Dont use the quantitative word couple when you have severals.

We can refuse the timer to 0 in world settings
And gender dosnt seem to matter

It's not working for me. 2 stats vs 2 stars and tons of egg got 4 stats i want
How do you incubate so quick? Mine is set to lowest time, yet it takes 10+ minutes🤔
i dont know about xbox but on pc you can set the timer to 0 in the settings
just put the egg to 0 it works on pc and xbox
I had this issue
My incubate time was at 0 and it still required time
Once I saw people were hatching instantly I knew something was up
I went to my settings and moved it up and then back to 0
Eggs hatch instantly now
Oh if you have an egg with a time already and then change the timer the egg time does not change until you remove the egg and place it back in
You should make this video about the design of your base. This is basic breeding stuff you are showing.
But I don't go looking for it
I don’t get it how we what the conurbation r I don’t get how u get what u want
yeahhh... but why would you breed a cow? i just watched a video telling me that even a maxed out cow is always worse than farming berries and buying milk... like, more milk per hour or per pal worker slot...
base location?
How do you hatch eggs without cooldown?
Settings before you start up your world , change egg incubation to 0
Thats smart though ngl
As far as I know, all worker skills like Artisan are a waste for ranch pals. Workaholic is worthless for any pal, if you provide high quality food, and only big worker pals could benefit a bit from Diet Lover. My Mozzarinas are beasts as fighters, Ferocious, Musclehead, Burly Body, and Lucky :D
A ton of dislikes on this video. Should I not follow his advice? What is bad about it?
Mozzarina is a bad example for this. Just like any farm animal, onky theor "produce poop", gets sped up by work speed at all, plus farm animals not really "worl hard" and lose a lot less sanity thsn other workers. Especially logging and teansporting personnel seem to lose sanity faster in my experience.
yeah for ranch pals partner skill effects their drop amounts so it wouldnt be effected by their passives
It`s just a lucky game, but all the not wanted pal will be juiced an infused to our golden child to just make it far more better!
Who else noticed he threw two males in there? Lol
Just get the perfect parents and do it a bunch.. ez
Ah hell nah tryna get perfect passive skills seems like pure stress☠️☠️
Babygons!
Totally agree 'Blanks' (as I call them are way more valuable than any passive skill)
Super easy and fast because of those MODS you using lol
That's neither here nor there!! 😁
There are mods, and I cant say he's not using them. But multiple sources do suggest that using two parents with 2 of the 4 skills each gives you the highest chance (RageGamingVideos estimates about 20% vs i believe 3% with all 4 on one parent)
I enjoy Lazer's content but God damn does he take forever to explain it. Good info, just does not respect viewers time and drags it out for 8+ min
You can always set an egg incubation rate to 0 and they hatch immediately putting into an incubator.
Agree take 2 skills with one 2 with the other mate... the end. @@Kodamare
ok, but they were both male..
Lol it's 2024, things are different now!
@@supersaiyanbinoLMAO
For people sayin gender don't matter it in fact does. He's to worried bout talkin to you he didn't notice to males but yet once he takes out the grizzbolt yer payin to much attention to to him talkin you don't nice the screen clip. Then you notice for a split second grizzbolt becomes a girl😂😂😂 can you kids not see it.
Yup, work skills on a grazing pal is when I stop watching.
How to get those single passive skill pal in the first place bro? You did not address that. Everyone knows about this already. This video is pointless
Did Charlie Day make this video?
Am I the only one who hates these big one-word subtitles?
ONG same I usually think that they are scams
Its all RNG plain and simple
How do you get a dragon from breeding a giant pegasus with a giant golden bear? XD lmao that makes no sense whatsoever rofl
3:54 HAH! GAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!
oh btw, where's the fastest and easiest gay? LOL
? Your uh... Your noct suddenly turned female and alpha.
Let me guess. This is the egg duplication glitch before you can incubate it and you've just put a clickbaity title.
You talk a lot to make a long video
They're not characters. They're Pals.
Hell, I'd even accept POKEMON. YOU are a character. The things you're breeding are pals, you mentally-dimorphic trogmuffin
This some wack ass content ngl
And how to breed for IVs then, theres too much RNG involved. Hope the devs change this cuz its nto fun to breed like this.
