I finished my final testing on this product today. First of all, don't let the price fool you. Although it is half the price of other compensator/barrel combos on the market, it works flawlessly! I say that with one caviat. It does NOT work with the MCarbo heavy recoil spring replacement that they sell on their site. The heavy recoil spring works flawless on its own, and the Compensator/Barrel combo works perfectly on its own, just don't mix the two. Once I figured that out, it was perfect. 100% feed. The accuracy was better than the Sig stock barrel, and the recoil was reduced every bit as much as MCarbo's advertisements. I am totally pleased with the results. Granted, I had to modify my P365xl holsters to make this fit. With the compensator, it is just a hair longer than the XL slide. It was a five minute fix.

I just got one from y'all and it dropped right in! Looks great too. I have heard (not confirmed) it takes 100 or so rounds to break in before it properly feeds carry rounds.

Most firearms do have a "break-in" period. I'm not sure what the manufacturer recommends for your firearm ( you may reach out to them directly). but 100 rounds does sound about average for most handguns.

Kyleb211, I see that your post was 4 months ago, and you never reported back in to report whether your install was successful. I installed my new barrel and compensator from MCarbo this past Saturday. The following day took it to the range for testing. It passed two of the three criteria I was testing for: Accuracy, Recoil reduction and function. It was very accurate. It reduced recoil as much as they say it was supposed to, being very comfortable to shoot. But I had 3 failures to feed in 150 rounds. I have had new guns do worse than this, so I continued firing in hopes to iron things out. I tested four different types of ammo and had FTF on three of them. Took it home and cleaned it, (which was WAY easier than I was anticipating! It's no problem cleaning it with the compensator still attached). But, I also used some jeweler's rouge to polish the ramp a bit more. I did not want to cut into that ramp in any way, so I just used a soft polishing wheel on a Dremel tool. I have not tested it again, but I plan to put another 150 rounds through it this week.

@@raifcluster I had some initial jamming with 115gr. I switched to 124gr and ran about 150 rounds through it for break in and it runs great! I've run a few hundred rounds of 115gr ball with no issues since.

I’m surprised there’s not more reviews on these. That’s a great price for the barrel and comp. I have a Harrington arms comp just sitting around waiting on a build. Trying to source a threaded barrel. I think I would’ve jumped on this if I knew about it, and if they had more reviews.

Hi there. I am hearing I might be able to get this set up in Massachusetts. Would that be possible?😊

Joe, I'm afraid that your state does not allow for you to won threaded barrels.

    Is it California Compliant?

I'm sorry, but since this barrel is "threaded", it is not California legal.
