Their hitting the retirement is getting married to a western dude and not understanding they are no better nor worse than Filipino men. The thing is that most jobs over there need college education when all they do is menial work anyway. It is crazy. They all want to earn that US dollar. The social media materialistic lifestyle they aspire is a degenerate style which will corrupt them. I have quite a few anecdotal evidence based on it. Developed western societies are no longer what they used to be. That said, most women from developing countries marry for economics anyway while searching for romance. Yeah, right?
If it is a younger foreigner to have a normal family with financial stability. Remote occupations make that possible now post pandemic except in areas of the Philippines with inadequate Internet so it might require some Filipinas to move away to other parts of tge Philippines away from family. Those that want relationships or marriage with older foreigners are not delusional knowing that it in many cases will be based companionship and comfort where the men don't want the b.s. they experience at home. In most instances Filipinass know they will be treated well and have financial stability and a good life. Many of these are gap relationships are based on mutual love and respect once a foreigner finds the right Filipina. The right foreigner will help her in many waysxso she can increase her odds of a bright future. I see many older fireugners putting Filipinas thru school, jointly running Sari Sari stores snd taking trips on weekends to resorts throughout the Philippines and for two to 3 week trips to other Asian countries, Australia and many times to the Expats country. Some of the older foreigners are even Gwapo.

One reason is that men abroad are more willing to do household chores because they did so when they were young. Not a big deal to them. And that is very important in a relationship of equals. One is not the master and the other a slave just because he is the breadwinner.

Not unless you enjoy your wife being "On call", "Working late", and "Having unexpected emergencies" on a regular basis. There is a reason I went into the medical field.
