Hi, Guys! I'm really excited to share this rustic pumpkin wood lanterns.

Tall lantern
6ft long by 7 1/4 wide ( this is for the front and back)
6ft long by 5in wide (this is for the two sides)
bottom piece is 11 1/4 by 11 1/4 long
top piece is 8in wide by 7 1/4 long
For his height I cut the four boards 30 in tall
small lantern
6ft long by 11 1/4 wide (this is for the front and back)

I loved it when I saw the masking tape , my son in law was putting some shelves up for me and used masking tape to Mark spots on the wall rather than a pencil .

Hey Sister Wife Michelle!! These wood lantern projects are really awesome. That's awesome that you recreated these!! That paper you used.. looked almost like dot matrix printer paper LOLOL!! Like that you didn't want the candles to see you designed the faces high enough so you wouldn't see them. We love that pin nailer.. That's got to make some quick work out of putting wood together!! Love the hinge for the top!! The handles are a fabulous idea too. Really love the end results and we think this would looks amazing outside of the house for Halloween!! I did make 1 of these,,, I did add parchment paper on the inside of the eyes, nose and mouth, and used 16 ft battery operated red fairy lights with a remote. Can find these on Amazon.
The parchment paper makes a really nice glow to the eyes, nose and mouth.
When I figure out how to send you a few pictures, I will.
Michelle you’re always so creative I just love everything that you come up with and the spooky Halloween lantern is fantastic. I have to give you a high five for working with that handsaw in carving the spooky ghosts out of the wood you did a great job and I love the color choice you chose for the lanterns
