I will not be held responsible on the modifications you may do after watching some of my videos, i do these videos to help you out and show you.
Informative video.
Thanks buddy.
My only concern is the back cover, especially in the UK with high levels of humidity, it might destroy the DRLs and whole headlight housing.
How long have you been driving without the cover?
Hi there, can I connect the Phillips Canbus LED light unit direct to my LED bulbs?
Looks good! Would these work on Astra J
I believe this will work on the Astra J, you will need to get the right bulb type And the Phillips Canbus box
@@R4hmans cool cool, gonna give it a shot soon on my astra J. How much was total cost of this fit?
Does have any problem if you will not put back the back cover? Or need to get one to cover the back? Thanks for the vid!
No I have not had any problems with it being open so no covers, this car never came with a cover
@@R4hmans thanks mate!
The car has covers on the back for moisture not go inside the Headlight. You might damage the Headlight
Hi buddy, is that in the standard halogen projector?
Yes it is
Have you got a link for the products? Do they blind other drivers. Look great
No from what I’ve experienced no one got blinded because no one flashes back so it’s been really good
Hi bro does the linked h7 bulb off Amazon need the Philips adapter on a 2016 Astra K?
Me too
Hey, you know the Cap for the housing, is it an issue to not put that back on?
No when I got the car I never had one on for one of them, never had a problem, plus the fan can get rid of hot air more easier anyways, but me personally I have not experienced any problems
@@R4hmans Having housing lid firmly locked is extremely important because moisture will severely damage the housing's interior. The other problem is the dust. There is only one solution - to keep the original H7 connector inside and to connect the adapter OUTSIDE the housing. And one more thing: bear in mind that in EU using LED headlights is illegal.
@@EmilTheRailwayman Yes thats right. A problem with dust will apears soon.
@@EmilTheRailwayman F the law. It's outdated and pathetic lol.
have you had any issues with these since installation?
No I have not had any issues with it, it’s been working perfectly
Have you had any issues with water entering the bulb housing as the back plate cannot be fitted?
I have not been having any issues with it, it’s been raining heavy and it’s going perfect
The Philips H7 lights come with a grommet to pass the cables through. You will have to drill the cap of your headlights though to get the grommet to fit. Theyll be perfect after doing so - never had any problems. I wouldnt recommend using them without the cover as moisture can easily get inside.
Looks great! Have you got the link to the bulbs as well?
are you stupid or just pretending? it's in the description! Concentrate, man!
Wheres the link for the bulbs?

Bro i tried it and the light is still yelow, do i have to buy separate white lights too or can i use my old yellow ones to connect?
You will need to buy a separate white LED bulb and a canbus if your not getting the same one as mine.
Are these not illegal in the UK though? Pretty sure these will fail an MOT flat out without even being tested as you're not allowed to change your bulb type from factory as the housing is designed for a specific type of bulb. The astra has projection headlights and with LEDs it will be too bright. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I do want to do this
They VOID your insurance, so if in an accident or stopped by police you *WILL* be prosecuted. The car would NOT pass the MOT with the incorrect bulbs for the housing. VOSA investigates all garages that supplied MOT certificates when drivers claim/lie "it passed the MOT like that".
The LEDs and HIDs are a different shape to the H7 bulbs that the reflector or projector unit is designed for. The focal length is different and although the HID and LED "look brighter", they put less light on the road compared to a standard H7 in the correct reflector or projector housing. That is because the light is scattered everywhere and not focused as it would be from a correct bulb in the housing designed for it.
Is it really worth LESS light on the road and 6 points with a huge fine and your car taken off you?
I have cars with H7, HID and LED matrix lights. I can tell you that these cheap £10 chinese things being sold do not compare in ANY way to the light output and projection of correctly designed HID and LED lights for cars. Don't waste your time.
@@Bond2025 much appreciated. I thought this was the case, cheers for confirming
@@mr.baconmontages8929 so we cant change to led light like this
@@mr.baconmontages8929 or it fine bro sorry about my English is not good enough to understand
@@Bond2025 BS. The HIKARI titanova headlights are all bright as the latest luxury car headlights. Halogens are unsafe. The law is so outdated and stupid. Needs to change.
Are these even legal in the UK?
No just swap it for a halogen for your MOT test then switch it back.
@@Undisputed_Kingthey are projector housing so it’s legal
by osram H7 the came with canbus free error
Hello is your car pass the MOT
Do you have a link for these items ?
Order from autobeam great price and correct led or hid .
Last month a friend of mine installed LED headlights on his car (quite expensive ones, about €100 for set) and this week he faced severe problems. He was stopped at night by the traffic police on the grounds that it blinded oncoming cars too much. They found out that the lamps were LED, took off his license plates and threatened him that if he did not install standard lamps and did not take the car to a technical inspection within 1 month, his car would be deregistered. My friend had to pay €150 fine and €260 for road assistance to bring the car home (about 400 km). And their vacation went to hell. After replacing the lamps, he will have to take it for inspection again with road assistance and pay again. Quite an expensive pleasure, isn't it? The geometry of the LED beam does not comply with European standards. That's why on the packaging of these lamps is written "FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY". So, before installing LED's read this warning. But if your car is factory equipped with LED headlights you shouldn't worry, just enjoy!
if your friend was blinding others means he or she put the led bulbs in a reflector type housing. Doing that means you re a moron. If you have projectors, like this astra, you cannot blind others.
He's a fool. He doesn't know how to align headlights. Shouldn't be driving at all.
Not sure if you know, but you can manually adjust the bean from inside the engine bay so it does not blind oncoming traffic.
You can also adjust the height of the beam from inside the car as well
@@ericzochowski3749 Of course you can, all contemporary cars have the option for automatically or manually adjust the height. The problem is not in the height but in the shape, direction and angle of the beam, which parameters depend on the bulb itself, its position, the lens and the reflector. Simply replacing the halogen bulb with LED cannot produce beam with above parameters compliant with European regulation. To make it properly you must replace the whole headlight body with such designed for LED, which will cost you a fortune.
Your car will fail the MOT the head beam streams across the road to oncoming cars
Nothing worse then putting led in a car they won’t design for blinding for on coming traffic
