when you open the car with a key , the lights goes on all day or just when it's dark outside?

In german version only when its dark the main headlights go on too. In daytime only the led day drive light goes on

Only when it’s dark outside (if it’s on auto) but if you turn it on manually and leave it the lights will go on doesn’t matter the time
