Gaijin seems to get progressively worse at desgining maps its as if they were firing each intern team every time they make a map until there is no one to teach the newest team how to make a balanced map

for war thunder, the TKX and Type 10 are identical, armor, gun, mobility all the same. well actually the TKX can correctly neutral steer while the Type 10 can’t. other than that it’s just model and visual changes.
edit: the 300mm breech armor that’s missing on the Type 10 is actually included on the TKX but it’s modeled as part of the breech and doesn’t provide any extra armor
TKX turret side armor is just thin enough to MG to death flat-on while you can't with the Type 10 because it's like 2mm thinner.
@@strf90105 the sides arent suppose to be that thin, gaijin modeled it incorrectly and thats why theres a gap there. its been reported for months now but still no fix. its also missing some internal armor on the sides but gaijin doesnt care to model it
Hee Justin, the strv 122 (a) you shot on the artic map was me. When you shot me for the first time at 14:45, you knocked out my vertical drive. So I couldn’t raise my gun anymore. Sadly enough it was fully locked downwards, so I left my tank when I saw your tank again and thought you had come to kill me😅. Love the content keep up the good work 💪💪

I guess they are the same, the Typ 10 is a prototype, and the TKX is the production variant. Due to the lack of strong TT tanks for Japan, they just gave it both
They can add the SK tt, but they dont give a fuck abkut Japan, they added just an spaa after so many years and thats it

Great game just now on Sinai with you Justin. You had a nuke ready but you obviously didn’t want to stop playing. But, glad I looked semi-decent with 5k, 2As, 3 deaths. I hope it makes it on video 😊
While admittedly not as common of a situation as it could be I think the biggest learning curve to get the most out of the Type 10 and TK-X is realizing that it is just as fast and much safer to just throw it in reverse when you need to pull back both in common short burst and in longer distances instead of actually turning around, it's a bit of a hard habit to break but can be life saving.
A good route I took on my first time on that version of Artic was to push the center where the Radar domes are. it is the highest part of the map with coverage over all three zones, and a little coverage into the enemy spawn. There is a ridge that requires a lot of depression to successfully shoot into spawn, but the enemies will also be looking in your direction. (I used the Type-90(B) and almost carried)

Coming back to this video for a recap, after playing with both Type 10 and the prototype; funny how i just get a nuke with the TKX in less than a evening of gaming (compared to almost 2 days of continue use of the Type 10 in the week-end).
Honestly i never use two tanks so fun, more than the Merkava (Mk2D, both Mk3B and C) and the M1A1 HC; i'm happy to have saved enough GE on the last sale and invest them in the talismans for these two Japanese tracked Samurai!
Happened to me many times and Gaijin has yet to fix it, it's probably been at least a couple of years. When both you and the enemy fire at the same time and if your breech gets destroyed in the that exchange, more likely than not it's your shell that becomes a ghost shell.
The repair thing is most likely an unintentional bug and will be corrected within a week
Didn't expect Japan to get another Type 10 but that's actually awesome, especially since it's not end of the line so the grind is much more tame as well asides from that, what Japan really needs is a good SAM system, the Type 93 is so awful that it's not worth getting, it can be useful against drones but even then its missiles are so bad.
With the TKX coming to war thunder, I feel like grinding the Japanese ground tree until top tier was a very good idea
I love the attic map. Lots of routes but there is a risk to go over them to get kills.
14:59 you broke his vertical cannon drive so he couldnt elevate his gun, he probably j'd out because his gun was too low when it broke (you can see it stuck downwards at the shell cam) and he couldnt get a shot off
Happened to me too and my stabilizer came off along with it (it's a very small part inside the turret so it doesn't get hit often)
Edit: at 14:46 i think that small square you broke is his vertical cannon drive
If you read the list it will tell you what got damaged without having to learn where and what everything is.
@@brrrserkr it's also safer, cause sometimes you think you got the breech but it's only yellow-orange and can still fire
@@brrrserkr I know? Just pointing it out.. I often look at the list if I killed gunner so I can kill an enemy immediately, I even noticed Justin broke the leo's vertical drive by looking at the list
In protection analysis, TKX’s UFP has 20mm more against ke rounds than type10. Is it a bug?
Btw at 14:40 you broke his vertical which his gun was pointing down his only way to kill you was to rush you or try to repair or use hill

170 ping "reeealy bad" 😆 the repair thing was a bug, typical for an update to break things. Maps can't be as you suggested because there is a player preference system. We get what people like the most and hate the least. Adding a preference system that ignores that just makes that obsolete.

Being able to fire Spike and Hellfire R is more than just a "slight upgrade" lmfao.
@@murkser4149 , it is considered a slight upgrade by the Hellenic Army Air Corps because it's not a complete upgrade to the -Delta standard and the heli gets only new toys and avionics to maximise the potential of its existing and future weaponry. So, in the eyes of the Army its a slight upgrade that it's being carried on by Elbit.

i am legit pissed about how they changed the Stop repairs where you cant do that cause that removes a massive advantage to being damaged and still having mobility to repair in a safer position
It actually makes it more skill based. Now you have to use your brain about when you're gonna repair and using your brain in uncommon in war thunder.
The Japanese Apache is great. It has the Hellfire K's which only the 11.0 Apaches have (Tandem Warhead) while also having the radar on top of the rotor which again only the 11.0 ones have. With all this it sits at 10.3 lol

Being at 10.3 gives it much lower SP costs in 11.0 and 11.3 matches.
@@murkser4149 fair point but even in uptier it's quite easy to be able to spawn with atgm sometime only a kill or some damage dealt and Taken is enough to Spawn in a fully équipes Ka-50 so while it Can help it doesn't really matter that much in the you get a lower br heli slightly cheaper but worse than other heli at 10.7 11.0

Listen listen Justin Im gona give you a secret to using hellfire type missiles more effectivly.
Turn off the laser before firing. Theres a option to not activate laser when firing missiles. If you turn it off and shoot a hellfire it will fly automaticly and turn to the "area" you selected to fire at and while it flys you dont need to lase the target.
So in the last 7ish secobds you turn on the laser and it will track and hit if theres no obstructions like trees.
Its much more effective at like 6-8km then at 4km because of tbe reaction time and how fast the SPAA missiles can get to you.
Anyway try it, its super nice s d makes hellfire at least up to 50% more effective. And for added measure you can fire 2 hellfires wkth 2-3s delay between if you miss the first missile. You can also fire many missiles this way because hellfire 2 (K) can relock. If you toggle the laser on hellfire 2 it can follow the laser again while B hellfire cant.

They really do sleep on Japan ;~; they gave sweeden the Finland tree, copy and paste but still 🥺 i really hope they start giving some love to Japan because i really wanna grind it and use the type 10 but there's soo much empty space for a top tier line up and it's depressing :'(

and what else could be added in top tier as backups? getting a new type 10 does wonders for the lineup, they are missing in terms of CAS and SAM support

They know going in when they added Japan its a limited tree. Should have a plan for fleshing it out that doesnt involve ctrl+c, ctrl+v.
