    The tricky thing with average salaries by State or even city is it’s not really a good indication of quality of life because of the variation in the cost of living (housing, rent, taxes, gas, commute time, etc. But the good thing about big cities is there are more jobs and it’s easier to change companies easily. Lol.

    Is system administrator the same as network administrator

    • @ITCareerGuide
      @ITCareerGuide  4 місяці тому

      In most cases it is not. The network administrator would focus on networking equipment and related work. But some companies call a system administrator a network administrator. HR often does not know what they are doing. Check on Linkedin and Indeed and read job descriptions to get a better understanding of the skills required.

    Is network infrastructure and system administrator course good in Canada??

    • @ITCareerGuide
      @ITCareerGuide  2 роки тому +2

      Not sure if you are referring to a specific course, but the direction for a profession is definitely good everywhere. But keep in mind with the cloud becoming more and more important to adjust your skillset accordingly. Both roles expand into the cloud nicely.

      You can look into some of the Microsoft Azure related certifications. Look for the "Fundamentals" certifications here: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/

    Pick a different industry, this pay sucks in this inflationary economy. $85k is the average median income in the US.
    You have allot of skills to learn for such low pay!
