The gun is chambered in 500 Nitro express. The rifle is worth over $50.000. What kind of safety concern is a break action hunting rifle? What is the Liberal Government trying to do? Even his Ruger #1 in 30-06 in on the chopping block. What for?

I’m more of the opinion that they KNOW what they are doing… that it’s not a misunderstanding at all. Criminals criminalize non-criminals to seem like non-criminals when they do their criminal actions against the non-criminals.

As a firearm owner, you guys do realize that having access to one in Canada is a privilege and not a right. I think a lot of Canadian gun owners don't understand this. Unfortunately this isn't America, where it's written on a piece of paper saying it's your god given right to own a gun, defend yourself, family and property. Our Government has given us access to owning firearms to hunt, sport shoot etc etc because they wanted to. Now? for whatever strange reason they have had enough of us owning them. Let's hope the bill doesn't pass and Trudeau gets voted the fuck out and Pierre gets in and changes (hopefully) everything our current government has done.

First of all. A lot of Canadians are under the misguided conception that the government tells the People what to do, (RIGHTS INCLUDED), where in fact. Its the other way around. The courts and government can tell us all they want that We The People don't have a firearm right. Now here are 2 systems that are corrupt to the core and they're going to dictate to us about rights that we were born with? Un-alien-able rights? I don't think so. Good luck with that! I could care less what the SUPREME COURT tries to tell We The People. They're liars. Period.

But far as I know, Canadians don't have firearm rights. That's one hell of an uphill battle.
We can only speculate as to the end game.
Anything that removes you from being independent and more towards government dependence the world is changing fast and horrible what's going on.
Doesn't matter that they're hunting guns- none of our guns should have been taken. Assault, handguns, whatever guns. Law biding, licensed Canadians need them for many reasons. One of them being preventing government from getting too big and tyrannical, like it has.
