On 11-23-19 my 20 year old son was murdered. The man who murdered him is now in prison. In prison he still has the right to keep and bear arms. @@FreedomInc ahhh I see, you are wholly confused about a lot of things. 1.) attacking legal gun ownership is a violation of my right to own a firearm. That right is protected from government interference by the Second Amendment, which means attacking my right to own any damned firearm I want is ALSO attacking the 2A. See, wasn't that easy?? 2.) Yes the man who murdered your son also has the right to own and carry firearms ... all the way to the point where his rights are curtailed under the FIFTH amendment requirement for "due process". The founders were very clear on that point and codified the requirements for the denial of rights, INCLUDING the right to life AND liberty. That said, once an individual has been punished for his crime and done the time, full restoration of his rights are in order. Nearly all states have "due process" established for that purpose AFTER full completion of the sentence. 3.) you are merely wrong when you make idiotic claims like "What he is infact (sic) doing is supporting everything that he claims to be against". My boss said he will never allow a gun in his household a year ago. Today, he got his CCW permit and let's us open carry on the job. If I can change someone's mind, you can also because I'm dumb as shit
Same here. I sat down with my owner and asked his stance on carrying at work, and I asked his permission. End result, no problems and permission given. I don't go waving it around, that's the point of concealed carry. Be mature, get trained, practice practice practice, your life MAY depend on it one day.
Absolutely correct, anyone I know who is anti-gun, ironically have never even held one.... They fear the unknown. They can be educated and become allies
My mom was anti-gun until about 10 yrs ago. She saw how we taught our kids about gun safety (including them being in tears for not being allowed to shoot for safety violations), plus our discussions about gun control and she now has no desire for firearms herself but is glad we have them. Thank you, Colion Noir and all the other gun rights advocates!
my mother was the same way, hated any type of gun even nerf guns, but as i got older and she saw the way i treat them and respect them and gun safety. now she will hold them lol, due to disabilities now she can't shoot or im sure shed try it
My wife was strongly opposed to guns until I dragged her out to the gun range one day and showed her how to shoot my 1911A1. First time she ever shot a firearm and I tossed her into the deep end with that .45 and its snappy recoil. She surprised me and herself with her performance. That gal can shoot! She was quite pleased with herself, but most important, she became a convert.
Colin, I'm not a gun owner at this time, but I will fight to ensure that every law abiding person understands their 'rights' to defend their home. I THANK YOU for the information that you provide! Again, I thank you!
John Evens. I’m glad that you are willing to fight for your god given rights even if you aren’t exercising them at this time. It sounds like when the time comes you will be responsible gun owner.
I highly respect people like you John. I spoke to someone the other day, I was speaking with someone the other day that said, “ I don’t like guns. I’m not a gun guy at all……, but I carry every day and will fight for the 2A because I realize if we lose it then we lose everything else.” While I couldn’t think anymore differently than him because I am a gun guy and the more the better, I also couldn’t agree more with him. @@kenpojeb As a owner of three firearms and continually going to collect more for recreation purposes and as a hobby. The NRA does a very poor job representing what your typical gun owning American is. They have close ties to politicians instead with most common Americans. They also have sponsorships, memberships and contracts with a lot of gun ranges and FFLs in the USA most of which you cannot join or part take in without donating or becoming a member. They rarely use their collected funds to help give back to responsible gun owning communities, programs and nor acknowledge the issues that have hurt the gun community and do not help by continuously attacking and accusing others rather than educating and informing proper safety and stats. If anything I see them as a out of date gun club, money launders and serve no purpose in representing the people. The reason why gun owners and the purpose of the 2A is under attack is because they have failed to take the right action. Negligence and complicity is two words I can use to describe the NRA.

Thank you for your videos. I was one of those people quietly "in the middle" for over 20 years. After watching many videos created by you and other pro-2A UA-cam content creators, I became more aware of the importance of protecting this Constitutional right and also became better aware of how people have worked to undermine the perception of the importance of the 2nd amendment. The Founders weren't so much concerned about the type of firearms that the people would have as much as they were concerned about the type of government that the country would have.
Very true! Everyone knows good and well back then in the 1700s nobody could ever imagine the type of guns we have now a days and everyone should know that we can’t even fathom what kind of guns we will have in the future as well, but at then end of the day even if our guns basically turn into stuff from StarWars I still agree that our 2A should cover those!

Seemed like common sense when I knew absolutely nothing about the argument. Now I cringe when I hear people talking about gun control who have no idea what they are talking about.
The people in the middle are quiet, and they are listening. They want information, and when they get the information they look into things more. Not just on guns but our Rights and what they are for.
I'd have to disagree. Most people aren't interested in these conversations. We also know mass scale sociological manipulation is not only possible, but happens regularly. The only reason that hasn't completely stripped us of our rights is because of how amazingly difficult our government is to manipulate for that end. We slowly lose ground, but it would be much quicker if we lived in a direct democracy. It took significant social unrest for people to arm themselves like we've seen over the past year. They didn't care until it was too late.
See..most of us in the middle are avid constitutionalist..its why we try to pick parts for both crap party's. @savage spartan5 please, where is this mythical "constitutional right"? It was the right that gave us the Patriot Act, the right failed to properly address voter fraud, the right failed to properly address the Affordable Healthcare Act, the right failed to prosecute KNOWN bribes contained in the AHA, the right, by and large, supported the Brady Bill, the right has failed to hold federal courts accountable for violations of the Constitution. The right is a major part of the problem. They are the Washington Generals playing the Harlem Globetrotters, both on the same payroll, playing to the same script.

One of the great things about the Internet, you're talking to people all over the world, I live on an island nation where citizens have never had the right to bear arms, never thought much about it until I started looking at various videos on your 2A rights, my government bears arms and criminals bear arms, the only people unarmed are we who are honest citizens. I seen a sign once that made a good point if you live in the middle of nowhere. "The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes! The response time of a 357 is 1400 ft per second!" Which one you would you prefer?🔫🇺🇸
I live in the middle of somewhere (Philly) response time is waaaaaaaay longer than 23 mins more like 23 hrs.. Lmao my Ar15 is faster than 911 so i will call them after.
A friend of mine was dispatched to a burglary in progress early one morning. He arrived 4:12 later, to the scene of a double homicide. 4:12 is ridiculously fast, he just happened to be close (county) but he was still too late. The sheriff's office did a great job investigating and eventually finding the murderers, but those people will never know, one way or another.
I've quoted info from your videos many times. The greatest thing was I got two of my friends that were very anti gun to be somewhat regular shooters now, gun owners. I mean they were very far gone, threw everything in the kitchen at me and I dissected the misinformation one lie at a time, eventually they came shooting a couple times. Then they got thier FOID cards and purchased thier first handgun, just one for now between the two of them (they're married). Recently I learned they've been at the range without me! Its a great experience.
I would rather keep my guns. They won't hurt a fly by themselves so no need to fear them. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. If not a gun then a knife or hammer etc.
I used to think that “guns dont kill people people kill people” phrase was just pedantic. Now I realize that it’s just a simple truth. If a rock falls from a cliff and kills a person we don’t call that rock a murderer. Same as the other wide variety of murder weapons that MURDERERS use. A gun cannot think on it’s own. It’s an inanimate object.
Yeah. We all remember how the Las Vegas murderer killed 58 people (and injured over 200 people) by slicing their necks with a knife from 250 yards away and 360 feet in the air. THAT is an impressive knife, huh? How do you carry that knife around?
This is probably one of the most brilliant, well thought out videos I've seen on UA-cam. I am literally that guy in the middle Colion is talking about. The radical extremes drive me insane. The more you scream at me about something the less I want to listen. Colion doesn't scream, he speaks. I was always for guns, but I used to think "yes, universal background checks; yes, assault rifle bans, etc." Then I listened to this man EXPLAIN it to me. Not scream, he spoke intelligently and made incredible points. And now I understand far more than I did before. Not because someone tried to ram it down my throat, because he put it out there and let me decide for myself.
“Don’t let the media fool you that the loudest, most extreme people are the majority-they are not” say it louder for the ungrateful, ignorant kids in the back
I was also anti gun but as time went on being a single woman living alone I wanted something to protect myself. @@alexbell8865 here's your spiritual fitness for the day. "Pope John Paul II" was the anti-christ. He put Christ on the same level as buddah, zeus, and ( insert pagan myth here) which was never done before. He made "peace" with with everyone, didn't try to convert them to the Catholic faith. This is something that went against 2000 years of Catholic teaching. And, of course, he also called for all nations to disarm. There is so much more I could write, but the post would become quite long. I will leave it at this: the Second Vatican Council changed all seven sacraments of the Catholic faith ( prophesied in the Apocalypse of St. John as the opening of the seven seals) and changed the mass too. No pope since has righted those wrongs, only moved to make One World Religion. Google Pope John Paul is the antichrist. It's not the belief of the majority, but of the remnant. Check out the video called " apocalypse now in the vatican" on mhfm1 channel. It's a good start.

God bless you, Colion. It's so important to have someone who can intelligently communicate on this subject. Myself, I will always try to change the mind of anti-gun people, because I was one myself. If anyone believes that gang members and punks shooting up schools buy their guns legally at a gun store, they need their heads examined. 95% of them are stolen, or borrowed without the owners knowledge.
Colion, You are doing our country a great service. Look at the Cuban people fighting now for their freedom. Imagine if the Cuban people had firearms right now.
My dad just told me on the 4th that the right to bear arms meant the right to "have a musket not an AR15 that is fully auto" I said dad, you do know AR15 is not a fully automatic rifle right? "OH, well its close enough" "its an assault rifle" SIGH.

Thing is, they SHOULD be fully automatic...not because I want machine guns but because that is exactly the type of weapon that one was expected to show up with when the volunteers responded to the call from Washington. The volunteers were expected to show up with serviceable rifles of a type comparable to those the militia had. In other words they were expected to have modern combat rifles. The militia is NOT the National Guard as so many people believe, the militia is you and me. Average Joe Citizen. The "right of the people to keep and bear arms" doesn't mean a government force conveniently called a "militia" it means the people, everyone ...who is a citizen.
@@transtubular Exactly. Why would the gov't need to codify their authority to not take away their ability to have guns? None of the other ammendments protect the federal gov't's authority. Words mean things. Gov'ts don't have rights, they have authority. Only people have rights, individuals.

I was raised in Texas, and I still live here, and I was always around guns, long guns specifically. We carried out hunting rifles and shotguns to school and our history teacher would clean them on his break.. lol We didn't have school shootings or high crime because everyone had at least one gun. Now it seems like the elite want us to be ashamed to be a gun owner. I for one am a proud gun owner because our founders said we must be ready to defend our states at a moments notice. I know that was a different time but those words are as true today as they were 250 years ago.

God bless and thank you for what you and so many others are doing to get this type of information out to the people. I salute you...
Don’t forget to talk to first time handgun owners either. A friend of mine, whose husband is stationed in Japan, just took the CWP class in SC. She hasn’t bought one yet, but her husband wants her to get it because his next duty station is either California or Hawaii. I can’t say everything we talked about due to lengthy discussion so this will be choppy post. I had to explain to her that her that SC CWP may not be honored in either of those states. I’m positive they aren’t. I explained the California handgun roster and standard capacity magazine ban that many states have. She was unaware of any of this. This opened the door to us talking about AR’s and weapon bans. I explained to her the FBI statistics on murders committed with guns, and asked her to think about why they keep talking about banning only the rifles when they are used in the least murders. She now understands that handguns are more than likely their next step. Like I said this was choppy, but our conversation was better than this.
Just so. The world is kept in check by the implied threat of violence, real or imagined. It's baffling how many folks there are who haven't scrutinized what makes a society, and haven't done the mental exercise of breaking it down to what happens when one does socially unacceptable things that others don't appreciate. Laws only have power because someone has a can of whoop-ass ready to be opened when they're not obeyed.

The pro-slavery founders were an influential minority whose names have largely been forgotten by history, as the ones we're most familiar with were anti-slavery. Some who owned slaves were legally forbidden from releasing them, such as Washington (who released his on his death) and Jefferson under Virginia law. Jefferson's original draft of the Declaration of Independence blamed the king for forcing the Atlantic slave trade on the colonies, but that part was removed for the sake of getting unanimous signatures from the delegates thanks to certain southern colonies. He specifically wrote "pursuit of happiness" instead of Locke's "property" so as not to give the pro-slave crowd something to latch onto. The northern founders were pretty unanimously anti-slavery.

We're so lucky to have someone like you fighting for our rights. Thank you.
I seen a sign once that made a good point if you live in the middle of nowhere. "The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes! The response time of a 357 is 1400 ft per second!" Which one you would you prefer?🔫🇺🇸

Its a great experience.
illinois?
I would rather keep my guns. They won't hurt a fly by themselves so no need to fear them. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. If not a gun then a knife or hammer etc.
#BIGFACTS more people are killed with knives
& hammers Smh!!
Look at the situation going on in London with the violent knife & sword attacks they cover up in our media currently happening
@@cccycling5835 Yeah it's all about perspective. The people should never fear the government, guns or rocks. Fear is the mind killer.
Training is so imperative and also educating oneself about appropriate use of guns such as the channel Active Self Protection. I love that they focus more on spiritual fitness and ethical use of firearms.
I would love for John Corriea ( spelled wrong ? ) from ASP to do some videos with Colion!
Spiritual fitness is quite overlooked indeed.

Dude, I feel you. I'm nearly as "alt" as it gets, piercings, tats, goth as it gets, and all my friends are too. This group of people tend to be very left leaning to put it politely. It gets so tiresome being mostly conservative and also being alternative. Its like, not even an island, but like a floating rock.
Lol. For real tho, unless you keep in touch with your friends from HS or college, you might end up a 2A island. I'm very fortunate to have 2 really, REALLY, GOOD friends I can count on and have the exact same interests as me. But 6/7 days of the week I spend alone talking to UA-cam comments.
I wish people got out more and did things. Like how it was in the 90s and early 2000s. Now even in a neighborhood with 1000s of houses when I walk around outside it's a ghost town. Everyone inside staring at their screen of choice lol.
Exceptionally well done video C! I have much faith in our ability to show people the unconcealed truths they desperately need to be made aware of. This is also a heritage industry. Those of us who have the desire, means and drive to make these amazing tools, want all our our children to carry on this right. Thank you for you have done sir!
95% of them are stolen, or borrowed without the owners knowledge.
obama gave that illegal the gun to shoot the girl on the beach in LA.

Make sure to tell him that if he exercises his 1st Amendment rights with that same shit ONLINE......that he should get off his computer, write his recipient with a quill-pen & have that letter delivered to said person by some guy on a horse. Then-----a serious discussion can be had with him about how he is very WRONG
Because you have a car that looks racy doesn't mean it's a racecar
Um. I feel so sorry for you to have a dad like that. That sucks. That sucks a whole bag of ball sacks. Lol. So glad my dad likes guns. And let me have a gun. But even if he didn’t. Not gunna stop me from owning guns. Shall not be infringed. Means. Don’t touch. Never ever touch this. Not even a little. Shall not. Get it. No means no. No touchy. Capeesh.

Liberals: the pen is mightier than the sword!
Us: the reason is the sword (or gun) got the pen's back.
Who controls the sword, controls the pen.
To me the pen is the gun. Took a lot of intelligence to create such a weapon.
I used to be apathetic and in the middle. Then I moved to LA for work and had my rights taken away. When I moved out you know I armed up, got more training, and became a constitutional freedom advocate.
