i really have no idea how to use ae till i jsut keep on looking for tuts. ae is so hard to use at first since i used vegas for a long time, now I realized that AE/Premiere is more flexible than vegas. oh my gosh. they're hard to use but very worth it when you get the output. thanks on this one bro!

But, i've just tried it, and the mirrored edges (for example, in zoom in) are noticeable throughout the video, not just in the transition ;(
You have to adjust the Title Center of the Mirrored Edges, cause I used a different comp size when I made the presets.
For example if your composition is 1920 by 1080
then use 960, 540 as the title center instead of 960,405 .
Always put in half the comps width and half the comps height as the center, (you can literally type in "1920/2, 1080/2" and ae calculates it for you, so handy! Should fix it every time :)

Great stuff. But everytime I drag the effects over in adj.layer the marker automatics leaves new keyframes at the markers position. Do you know how to avoid this? Thanks.

Btw., why are presets not working on CC 2015?
@@dominicfx5806 after effects presets sadly aren't backwards compatible.
I made them in cc 17 (i think, cannot remember anymore honestly) so the only work in cc 17 and newer.

Im working on 1080p videos, and i make the fix you recommend, but im still having weird mirroring :(
Every presets work fine for me expect Slide Transitions. I have to set title center to 960 690 or the footage would looked strange for me.
My Comp Settings are
1920 1080 60fps.

Hey does anyone know how to change where the zoom in goes? I want to zoom in on something that's not in the middle, how do I change the position of the zoom? It won't let me change the position or anchor point in the transition itself, and I've tried to do it myself manually but it looks very bad. Is there a way to do this?

i have the letter box effect already on my clips and when i put the presets of zoom out and zoom in it like goes slowly and pixelates it helpp using pr pro cc17
the transitions are awesome!! they just take some patience to play around with the keyframes which is really discouraging to beginners like myself..but bro why is it so beefy?? it takes years to render and made my project crash

Hey, great work is done, man! Need your advice: how to use these presets for more than just one transition? I mean, I make one transition, between two clips, how to make a transition between a second and third clips in the same comp?
onward and sideways If you have the first transition on an adjustment layer I would recommand you to copy it (Ctrl + D) and place it so over the 2nd and 3rd clip, let me know if it worked well if you want :)
it's working, thanks! but what if I want to put diffirent presets in the same comp?
Just add another adjustment layer put on a different preset and put the layer where you want the transition to happen :)

Does the frame rate of the video also effect the transitions overall span? Is there a way to make it last longer or make the transition happen quicker?
Omar Abbas I'm not sure if the framerate affects it, but you can change the duration of the transition by moving the first and last keyrame from to two in the middle, but you have to adjust the speed curved in the graph editor as well, if you dont know how to open the graph editor you can find it on google easaly.

please help me i cant istall them, first i put the file that you gave us but it didnt found the file so i founded for my self and paste it just like you and when i open after effects and search from them theres nothing please help me
download adobe bridge 2017 or 18 to apply presets with out transferring them to user presets because many people have the same problem. its either because you have too many presets that contain too many markers or you reached the maximum amount of presets that you can fit in that folder. trust me it makes it so much easier.

Hey, when I add any slide transition (down, up, right, left) to the video, the entire video gets a mirror effect. How can I fix it? Please respond.
Installed the presets correctly, but I had some heavy lagging on pre-render even in quarter view resolution... does it's usual?

Sick work! Only when I use the slide preset it mirrors the layer before the transition and the layers below the adjustment layer. :/
That's weird, what framerate is your timeline in? Because I made these presets in a 24fps timeline, so that could mean that if you were editing in a 30fps timeline the keyframes might not fit perfectly, maybe you have to move the inner keyframes a bit? But I'm not sure
