These complications make a watch so large, it might be better if it was a pocket watch. What would be really impessive is a perpetual calendar you can adjust backwards, from what I have heard, if they are accidently adjusted too far ahead, the only way to correct it is to return it to IWC, or I suppose it could be left in a draw unused until the correct day arrives, by which time a service might be due 🤔
I know a few brands have figured out how to do perpetuals that you can correct easily. This one is probably too complicated for that would be my guess. Read that manual closely!
Well there you go Dennis. This one makes the JLC look like Timex money in comparison. Like you stated, I find myself waiting for Christopher Ward, Still, what an incredible piece of engineering. Proportions aside, one can't help but admire it.

It's probably worth the money just knowing as long as it stays wound you never have to find another toothpick in your lifetime to fix the moonphase.
