Cyber Akuma is one of the most OP characters ever made in the crossover series. It’s crazy that he’s downright broken. I mean what to expect that Apocalypse turned him into his fellow horseman.
The thing that made him so punishing was the speed of his teleport which had virtually zero lag into crouching light kick from which he would proceed to pummel you into oblivion with is hugely damaging combos and supers. The other trick was the follow up rock after an hadoken which catch you out if you was trying to doing anything other than be defensive. Once you pick up on these patterns he is a bit easier, still one of the beat bosses of all time though.
I remember I caught one of my friends with the air raging demon. I never told anyone it was possible just executed it one day. After practicing which combo sequences would help you catch someone off guard.

What really scary about cyber akuma is that he's just like shin akuma, but with high defense.. and you put rocket punch, massive fireball into the mix, plus that 7hit goushoryu, he's straight up nightmare, oh did i mention his terrifying speed?😅
The most OP characters in all of Capcom's fighting games: Everyone from X-Men Children Of The Atom, Marvel Superheroes and X-Men vs Street Fighter. The infinite combos in those games are super duper easy to do, you have like a 10% chance to drop it lol
I learned to beat the tar our of cyber Akuma as Wolverine. I would jump over his attacks and drill claw into him. I'd be all over him, and then tag into whomever I wanted to see the ending as. That was how I saw all the endings back in the Arcades.

Cyber when I faced him is overwhelming. His speed, power and the ability to completely dominate. Thank goodness I beat him on my very first attempt at the arcades. I remember wiping out my Ken using a Raging Demon and I thought I lost when he hits me with a Metsatsu Gouhado Ken leaving me with a pixel of health with my Ryu. Somehow I managed to turn the fight around and a blast him with the Shinku Hado Ken and I was happy and relieved with sweat on my hands while trembling. Damn, it was a tough boss to beat.
Cyber Akuma is a housemen of the apocalypse meaning he is enhanced with celestrial technology ( the cosmic entity architects if the main marvel universe)
But what you might not know, is that Cyber-Akuma is *also* a MegaMan 8 easter egg, in that his Cybernetic Arm/Wings originate from the wreckage of Duo!

Psycho bison was tricky but much easier imo. Similarly both force you to turtle and punish on the counter. I think I made more trouble with CA but that could be that my skills weren't as developed at that time.
It’s a shame to see what capcom has done to the street fighter ip, looking/hearing gummy fighter 6, it’s atrocious. I think I know why they don’t ever re-release the vs games, they want you to forget how amazing capcom vs snk’s and the X-men/msh/marvel vs street fighters were in music and gfx. Gummy fighter 6 has such terrible music it makes current era wwe entrance themes almost palatable *almost*

NGL when the 1st time i unlocked Cyber Akuma, after 2 matches i shut down my PC then i head to the outside 🏞️. It is Not because i hate the character or something like that, after all he's my favorite SF character of all time.
