      @RexyBing Sorry if I annoy you on a Friday morning but maybe it has a little to do with Norman and Mickelson crawling into bed with the tyrant crown prince of Saudi Arabia hijacking pro golfers by offering oil money, undermining and watering down golf competition as a whole. Acting like henchmen for a country that produced 15 out of 19 terrorist who killed on 9/11. Just minor reasons like that😅

      Yeah Phil is a real classy guy - turns his back on the folks who made him rich and famous ($400 million net worth) because he wanted more $. Then joined a lawauit against his former friends and colleagues, you think that's class? You sound like Phil's kind of guy. It was classy signing up for LIV after saying the Saudis have a horrible record on human rights and executing Kashoggi/ gays was horrendous. I also thought the way he ran down his ball on the green at the US Open, and putted it again before it came to rest, was the true mark of a great champion.

    This is exactly what I'm doing right now. I use this technique so often and it's been amazing. I feel a lot more confident in my chipping and even the bad ones aren't horrible compared to before.

    I have been taught it exactly like this. I am a 14 handicap but short game is the best part of my game. I just have 3 different shots. This one (bump n run) with 8i, sandwedge chip, and flop. All you really need around the green.

    I’ve used this toe down technique for about 6 months, as I was struggling w precise good contact. It works amazingly, you still have to put in the work to get used to distances, and yes I still occasionally blade it, but mainly because I don’t toe down enough

    Also add that you keep the club shaft vertical and stop the swing the moment it’s about to pad your front shoulder. That is clear on the video, but doesn’t get mentioned. A really great lesson, despite being slightly flawed. 👍

    Best advice I’ve ever got around the green is what he alluded to at first. If you don’t like it, you can always putt it. Too many times higher handicaps pull out a wedge to hit a shot when a bad putt will beat a good chip 80% of the time around the green.

    Coming from a guy, whose ball was lying in a grass bunker on a down slope relative to the green, faced the opposite direction, opened his lob wedge, and hit it backwards onto the green, in a tournament, I should probably listen.

    I remember playing in palm springs in 2016 and accidentally winding up on one of the other courses at LA quintana and seeing him on another cart looking at me like "what is he doing here"? Haha
    I think he may have had that course to himself that day? Pretty cool though.

    Yes, he's amazing all right. Turns out that Dick Prickleson studied Advanced Golf Technique at the Sorebone Institute, where he often made strokes with his putter. Too bad about his soreassic arthritis, I guess he overused the driver.
