While this is 5+ years old, Earl already beat Efren everywhere it matters... at the US Opens, World titles.. he has 5 US Opens while Efren has 1 the year the US Open was split to 2, so Efren had an easier field that year as well.
Folks that know pool know Efren wasn’t so much of a tournament player but he was the best player in the world. He was like the bus driver…everyone that rode had to pay him.
this my First video seeing Earl beat Efren and i Loooove it!! I see Efren win so much,, it's cool seeing someone finally beat him. No I'm not an Efren hater,, but it's nice seeing the other guy win some of the time.

Strickland is probably the best US player ever but Efren is still the best all around player in the world.

Efren is too old.. Earl did a good job of taking care of his health.. I think Efren is exposed too much of tobacco smokes inside billiard halls in the philippines..
Earl is known to run miles and miles a day, even right before shooting pool... do a thousand pushup/situps when he wakes up. Earl is a real athlete and plays more than just billiard sports. That's why he has 5 US Open wins not to mention multiple world titles, and can still compete to this day with the best of them.

Yeah? You know who still plays every day for money? Efren.
Without checking I think Efren is nearly a decade older than Earl. One thing that will always decline with age no matter what else is eyesight, and that is obviously a major factor in this sport. On the other hand, Efren gets more luck than Earl, so Earl has to work harder, at least I think that's how Earl would tell it, lol.
@@onemoremisfit : Efren was born in 1954. Anymore that's not "ancient". He had LASIK on his eyes, so he's "tweaked" himself to continue. Not into supporting ageism of any kind. If you expect things you attract those things. We need to stop doing that form of prejudice.
