It is an under-appreciation for all things love, I think the definition has changed, the longevity is no there like it use to be. For me, I grew up on Quincy Jones and Tamia was a product of his era, the newer generation do not have any R&B singers, they sing about superficial things that posse no meaning, love is tangible and thus can be a bit unrelateable to a microwave society. I'm an old dude, what do I know?

20 Years in the game my friend. 1st album produced by Quincy Jones (Michael Jackson Thriller). Crossed genre's from country to hiphop. Phenomenal song writer and that amazingly beautiful voice. It might not seem like it but she gets her credit. One of the most well respected women in the industry. Check that first album out if you want more soul and Nu Day if you're looking for more uptempo music.
