This was my first dance song at my wedding in 1995. Bittersweet memories for sure. I was deep in love with a man who wouldn’t leave the streets alone. I had cars, jewelry, and more clothes than I knew what to do with and a man who wouldn’t come home. I learned so much from that marriage. She handles those difficult low and mid notes effortlessly, and then transitions to soulful high notes like she's strolling on the beach.
