I absolutely loved this show as a kid! Although normally breaking from movie canon would have annoyed me, these characters are so charming and funny that it didn't matter to me at all that their universe expanded as much as it did.
I watched Timon and pamba a few times on Disney plus and absolutely enjoyed it. ❤ This show is like" what if Ren and stimpy met animated Ami and Yumi from HihipuffyAmiyumi.
You know I gotta say, more than recently I like how you’re covering shows as a whole and not specific episodes as much anymore. Aka giving an overview in general. It’s a nice change of pace.
I never saw it! Its cool and i might check it out since its on Disney+! I also like that you are using your new mascot in videos now! Great video and keep it up! 👍
Off-topic, but you know how around the end of yesterday, with a compilation of cartoons about Andy Panda getting hit by his ex-girlfriend alongside the fox he was supposed to catch as if he were a bad boyfriend (Scrappy Birthday) and Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck being so racist and sexist towards indigenous Australians and Daffy’s ex-wife even though Daffy should’ve just sat on his egg for their son who would later be adopted by crocodiles which makes me imagine just how horrible of a husband Bugs would have been back in the day if he were one (in Bushy Hare and Quackodile Tears), it got so toxic (not just for me, but if anyone saw it, they would realize Looney Tunes, while a lot of fun with its super cartoony and even influential style of animation, had too many missteps to be considered one of the best cartoons from a moral standpoint) that it made it hard for me to sleep and need to take a shower? As glad as I am that someone finally acknowledges how underrated (as opposed to the state if The Lion King since the late 2010s with the remake and debatably The Lion Guard, and yet people defend it over the original animated The Lion King trilogy) Timon & Pumbaa truly is (like Amblimation’s movies, it also has Looney Tunes-esque animation that pushes the limits of TV quality animation, but then again, this was a cartoon of the Disney Afternoon, which would have to be the Disney Channel equivalent to the infamously amazing Disney Renaissance), there also exists a season finale (Cliphangers) which would literally kill off Timon and Pumbaa (don’t worry; they’d survive. 😊) who literally waited until they fell to their doom to apologize (in an over the top way like Terry Crews in one of the Old Spice commercials whom I’d like to cast as Crunch Bandicoot alongside Isaiah Mustafa in the other OS commercials as Aku-Aku if I could eventually make a Crash Bandicoot movie, probably partially with the animation style from one or more of the games and partially with the character design style of Pac-Man World 2 as besides wanting to make originals like SportsBrawl with Zac Efron, Rusty with Dwayne Johnson, Bodybuilder with Arnold Schwarzenegger, The PowerBursters of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Cauldron Palace with SteveGreeneComedy and James Maslow, The KGHS Show , other video game adaptations like Pac-Man and the University of Pac-Land where the characters are also in their PMW2 designs, Kirby of the Stars, Sonic the Hedgehog: Speed Demons where the characters are bare-furred yet very attractive adults with extra thicc thighs that can appeal to furries and non-furries alike, and dare I say, a proper sequel series to the An American Tail quadrilogy like either “Tails Beyond America” or “Tanya’s Worldwide Tails” if I could go that far with Tanya in her Fievel Goes West design not outgrowing her saloon girl makeup, for that matter) and with all that said, this show with that season finale also kept me up by killing off iconic Disney sidekicks to end it all off with a banging whimper.
My one takeaway from this show is the fact that Pumbaa, for all intents and purposes, twerks near the end of the intro. It’s like, yeah, Pumbaa’s cute, but twerking is simultaneously the best and worst thing you could ever imagine him doing
I loved this show, mostly because I was obsessed with the Lion King movie as a child 🤩🤩. I even had a crush on Timon 😍😍, but it faded out as I grew up. Plz, hear me out, there was just something special about him😅. Please, don't make fun of me🥺. I still love him, just more dialed down 😎
I really hope you do cover more Rugrats in the future as well! It’s my favourite anime show ever! Mostly the original series I mean. It’s definitely been making a resurgence on UA-cam as of recently. Acorn Nuts and Diapey Butts is my favourite episode. But I always look forward to whatever new videos you do eventually upload.
If Mufasa will be successfull I really hope they're doing more Lion King stuff, including a new animated show. I mean they have the best platform with Disney+ for it
I watched this on Disney+ last year before the start of the year we're currently in, and I find it to be hit-or-miss (but in a decent way). I really enjoyed the first two seasons, but I was disappointed with the third one. I'd give the show 7/10 overall.
Also on top of that too, you do reminder me of Jordan Fringe in a lot of ways since he covers a lot of cartoon shows, as well as live-action ones and gives a general overview of them too. But he’s currently stuck in limbo working on his second teen titans related video which is talking a long time to make. He released the first one earlier this year which was about 4 hours long roughly! I know the wait will be worth it but no more teen titans for him after this one. I think that much is clear overall.
@@thenightbutterfly1 yeah of course I completely understand. The only time I watched his longer videos was Pokémon and Yugioh. Two of my favourite anime shows ever. Particularly Pokémon. I do wonder if he’ll ever talk about dragon ball z someday at all. I’m not the biggest fan of overlong long videos either but if the pacing is good and it goes into a lot of depth and detail, then I don’t mind it. So it just varies to me.
I was born in 1994, and Timon and Pumbaa are my all-time favorite characters from The Lion King. I loved watching their adventures on TV, and they're still my favs.
I agree with you. Season three was expected by the popular demand it got to be entertaining, but it turned out to be an absolute blunder full of nothing but overuse of recycled plot points as well as the characters suffering from flanderization, almost like Disney tried to make it an entirely new show. But I still really love the first two seasons!
this two spin-offs totally rip-off spongebob squarepants the show is called “kamp koral the spongebob’s under years” and “the Patrick Star show”, and it ran from 2021. and copy spongebob with its own version of start from season 11, but not captain pipsqueak episode. because of course, that would be a one kid too many for the Nickelodeon government. and get this, the show is actually a way to promote Netflix movies to families. I guess that explains this little difference between the loud house and the casagrandes. best part of all, spongbob clapped back at these imposters, with their own episode called the tidal zone. until in last where they blow up the phony spin-offs in a fiery explosion.
When I showed this to my sister because I love this show, she said that this was “Lion King mixed with Ren and Stimpy except the gross out”
I gotta say that the new artstyle is amazing.
I absolutely loved this show as a kid! Although normally breaking from movie canon would have annoyed me, these characters are so charming and funny that it didn't matter to me at all that their universe expanded as much as it did.
So cool to see people talking about this show and praising it. I Actually remember being one of my first cartoon obsessions as a kid.
Oh yes that show is underrated, it's great
I watched Timon and pamba a few times on Disney plus and absolutely enjoyed it. ❤
This show is like" what if Ren and stimpy met animated Ami and Yumi from HihipuffyAmiyumi.
Luna killed the new artwork and you did beautifully as always in your coverage. This show was pretty decent
I used to watch Timon and Pumbaa on Disney Channel all the time when I was twelve to thirteen years old.
This is a better Ren and Stimpy equivalent than Shnookums and Meat
The new avatar is straight fire!🔥
This and Lion Guard are such underrated shows, Lion King had the best Disney shows no question!
I remember watching reruns of this show on Toon Disney with my brother.
That show was the first thing I watched on Disney Plus.
You know I gotta say, more than recently I like how you’re covering shows as a whole and not specific episodes as much anymore. Aka giving an overview in general. It’s a nice change of pace.

Loving the new style
I still have nightmares about that courtroom scene with all those bugs and that the sharp guillotine
Omg someone else knows this series, i watched this as a kid.

Hot take: This show is better than the lion guard by a mile!
Can you review cartoon Network's HihipuffyAmiyumi next

@spontaneouswizard358 I've seen a few of his videos but I'm not a fan of really long content so I haven't watched in about 2 years now

i osso se that time
You made a little mistake. The show was on CBS and syndication before it was on ToonDisney.
The series was ok, but I hate Timon in most episodes for acting like an obnoxius jackass towards Pumbaa.
this good shit
I love the first 2 seasons of Timon and Pumbaa. They were my classic childhood series/episodes.
Season 3 was really poor in my opinion.
I agree with you. Crazy how thousands of accents exist that aren't the same as yours 😳😳
