Leaving your EV unattended at a public charging point is risky for a society that still lacks basic civil sense at large.
That wont be an issue if they employ some automation or levy huge penalties after certain time or battery SOC.
In most public charging places, people park their ICE cars in front of charges.
I don't think anyone is buying a 50lakh EV for low running cost 😂
Valid point 😂
true. EV of this range should be a sedan than a hatch so that it don't feel overpriced.
@@phanindra40the most surprising part is that govt 15 years discard policy is applicable to these EV ALSO

I have a two month old Punch LR, have done 8500 km in two months hardly spent 11k on fuel, home charge cost less than 1Rs/KM fast charge cost 2.5Rs/Km and the car is super smooth, super fast and super comfortable, as a city car it is a no-brainer, no ICE car will come close. I have done multiple 450kms drives and one 950 km drive in it, it can be done easily, needs a bit more time , just that you need working fast chargers at 180-200kms distance. I was a diesel fan with some 8 lakh odd km under my belt , but after owning an EV I will tell you this, there is no going back!
Interesting!
True...I too own a Punch EV LR and nothing comes close to it's comfort.
I am planning to buy a punch ev LR, could you please let me know about the legroom in the rear seat, comparison with Nexon ev and discounts that You got.
Please help.
@sathyaau I didn't get any discounts but right now top end have 30k discount running. Back seat is strictly for two adults whereas for nexon 3 can fit in. Punch is Comfortable at rear for two or two plus a small kid , but I would buy the curve ev or the zsev if I were looking for a ev in 20 lakhs range
I own Hyundai Kona Electric Premium since 1.5 years and drove 40K km with it. Total maintenance cost was 10000 rs that included wipers, air filters and wheel alignment and it only took 40000 rs in electricity cost. And runs like a porsche. I am happy.
I have the Ioniq 5 without the home charger. I use the office slow charger 2 days a week to charge my car. It is more than enough. Total charging cost for 6 months or ownership has been rs.0
That’s brilliant! 👌
I guess the Best Option is Hybrid For India as We Don't have enough Infra for EVs.Both Fossil and Lithium Mining causes Pollution.
shittiest option by value prespective forsure
Well said
Hi you should do more research before judging any product.
I have MG COMET, and my running costs is almost zero. Because I have a 10kw solar power for home. I don't charge my car outside. Service cost for 1st 3 free services was less than 1k. I have driven almost 16k kms, and I'm happy with the car except comfort. The one thing I regret about buying this car was now they have reduced the price by 1L.😢
I am thinking of buying MG COMET I wanted to know the range. My drive is 120kms per day
@@zahidismile If you drive in eco/normal mode, you will definitely get range between 170-200kms. Every weekend I go to my farmhouse. It's 138 kms up and down. I'm left with charging 25-30%
@@naveedbaig4179 Thankyou
@@zahidismile120km per day, you need something comfortable and a minimum battery of 40kWhr for peace of mind and sudden plan changes. Remember just like an average petrol diesel engine runs 10-15 kmpl, an average EV runs 6-9km per unit(KWhr) of battery.
Not comfortable, what's the point
Nice one. No one ever put it in this way. Job well done.

Well explained..! I'm using Nexon EV max from February 2023..! Same experience. Clocked for 53000 kms till now. It's not like that Rs.1 per km. 70% Happy & 30% unhappy. 😅
What do you mean by it's not like that Rs 1 per km?
Also please mention the reasons of your 30% unhappiness
i had my max purchased on dec 2022,since then not even one time i got range more than 220,but its like an adults toy car...........
Using public charging infrastructure for your daily commute is a significant waste of money. If you have access to a charging option at home, go ahead and purchase an electric vehicle. They are quiet, and you won't feel as fatigued in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Additionally, electric cars offer the convenience of charging your laptop and running the AC for extended periods while parked without affecting the engine, unlike ICE cars.
Lower-cost electric vehicles, like the Tiago and Punch, provide notable savings. However, if you're considering an electric vehicle priced over 15 lakhs, buy it primarily for the driving comfort rather than for saving money.
Even for vehicles above 15lakhs like Nexon and ZS EV, you can save money in comparison to their ICE Counterparts.
Nice video!
Small, compact , light weight and low cost commuter EV makes sense and not the SUV type gaint cars especially in the beginning of EV market
I have purchased tiago ev few months back. The power delivery and smooth automatic drivability is actually the key differentiator from ice cars. Ev are primarily best for daily city commute. The thrill of instant torque pays for the price paid. Its best to spend limited amount and experience ev rather than worring about other factors. And special thans to V3 cars variants comparision video I was able to pick the best suited variant.

Excellent review . Thank you.
Ignore the trolls, a very informative video for folks like me who are on the edge of decision making, and this gives unbiased and helpful context into the ownership experience that few reviews can give. Thanks and looking forward to more such vlogs!

Great video. Was very informative.
Your video is on point
As being an ev user I can validate what u saying
That it's the
regen breaking
Instant acceleration
Smooth drive
Best transmission
These are the most imp aspects
And economy is cherry on top
Driveability of ev ie. instant power and regen braking are the best things no ICE car can match. Mine is 90% city use and charge at office, so i actually like the fact i dont have to change my route, wait in long ques, pay bill for petrol. I drive a Tiago EV LR.
Aptly captured. Public charging can be tricky.
FYI: we live in the same society. You can get a home charger installed. I have a 7.5KW charger for my BYD SEAL
Bro can I go for byd atto3 ,do you recommend it over any other ev cars?, please advise
Never been a fan of EV. The govt seems to be hell bent on dumping EVs on the public. However hybrids are the way to go.
Auto makers must invest time and brains in making petrol / diesel vehicles more efficient.
Also govt must seriously look at biofuels (both petrol & diesel) which was a very seriously contested topic few years ago prior to the EV craze....
Hybrids are the crappy tech whch failed everywhere in the world and is now being dumped in India by a clueless Toyota which has no EV on anvil for India. Please buy a hybrid. You will regret it. You end up maintaining both battery and engine and a pay 4 to 5 lakhs extra for 3/4 kpl extra. Do the math how long it takes to recover. And also EV will leave it in the dust in acceleration.
Can you please make video on comparison of Engines of different brands (as per their segments) and make a conclusion that which one is better? (e.g. between TATA, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, etc - B1 segment cars). Also include their life expectancy like wear & tear, noise, etc.
Recently I had to do 950km highway drive with my petrol car. I planned the tour with ev in mind and Immediately realised ev infra was non existent I would have completely stranded on highway somewhere. Even with ev infra I would have saved just Rs.4/km. So deciding towards using petrol car for few more years. No ev for me. My petrol car gives 19 to 20 kmpl with ac. No hassle so far
You should also think about oil mafia, dirty pollution from tail pipe... Anyway pertrol is disgusting never for me... Ev only for me , now and forever. Tesla can go to hell, there are byds, Hyundai, kias, tata too etc.
As if electricity is a clean fuel in India. Go learn your basics dude. There is mostly thermal electricity in India and that is more polluting than petrol effectively after adding the transmission losses
@@Reddylion Ever heard about EV pollution and their mafias in Africa. If not start researching.
@@a--b ever heard about oil mafia..... Middle East monopoly nonsense... if not high time , not just you, people like you need it.... the amount of diesel to transport the crude..... disgusting..... this is just the beginning, the amount of electricity used to distill, filter that crude to, petrol, diesel, kerosin etc... battery mining , pollution is not 10 % of this petrol etc crap.

Bring a comparison between lower variants of Sonet Htk+ and XUV 3xO Ax5.
As it will help middle class buyers. These variants have almost all practical features and it clicks all check boxes.
I think you will surely bring this most awaited comparison.
I have a Nexon EV. Always charge it at 10-12% battery.

Self-Charging Hybrid Vehicles are the Future.
Even Global markets are going away from EVs towards Hybrid Vehicles.
what are your views on the plug-in hybrids?
@@V3cars-Official Thank u for replying to my comment. ❤️
I think plug in Hybrid cars would also gain popularity when they become affordable for the mass market but not as much as Self charging Hybrids in India.
The peace of mind of Self charging battery cells when the car is running is unmatchable in my opinion.
@v3Cars - Please make a video series to specifically review the DelhiNCR (witin city charging stations) and highway runs to & fro from nearby travel destinations.
It’s important to shine some light over the charging infrastructure’s current plight. 🙏🏽😐
Having your personal fuel pump aka charger at home is bliss. I hate having to go to the fuel station for my other car. Not having a charger at home considerably degrades your ownership experience.
Informative video cover aspects of owning EV which are generally not discussed.
Completely agree with drive pleasure of EV which any ICE car owner can't understand.
But you need to do analysis of statement mentioning km require to cover upfront cost. Please dont compare ex showroom cost. On road price of same model has hardly 15% difference in cost which can be covered in a year.
Hybrid cars are the future for atleast 5-8 years from now…EV’s have really long way to go…
सर जी नमस्ते 🙏,
सर जी 3xO का कोन सा मॉडल बेस्ट हैं, और क्या आप इसका बेस मॉडल इंदौर में अच्छे प्राइस पे दिलवा सेकते हे क्या 🙏
Ev are for those who can flaunt there money and have home chargers , public charger is expensive
With current ev infra........a family need to have an ICE car as a main car....and ev for office and city use......
EV is a good alternative......but i feel sales mix will be ard 30% max in the next 5 yrs...
I have Nexon ev max
We usually charge our car when it reaches 30% which is 100 km range
It will take at least 10 more years in India to get a proper EV infrastructure.
I’ve read an average EV car’s power consumption is around 7.5 kw for home charging. That’s equivalent to running 5 1.5 ton ACs simultaneously 😮 And changing the battery pack costs almost 1/2 as much the car itself.

Fuel gaadi sabse jyada Reliable long lasting hota hai , 20 years old Bolero and Scorpio gaadi dekho aaj bhi mast chal rahi hai 😍👍
I agree with your point.
You are absolutely right bro ... nobody should buy EVs it destroys one's peace of mind
Please share your thought on Punch EV in Mumbai as primary car ...
Phenomenal car....city drive absolutely go for it, again it's on different ev platform, ull love the experience of an ev, if u have charging facility at home ..
I own Nexon EV Empowered LR and my running cost is almost ZERO, as I charge at my dedicated office space which is well protected and no one else can charge
resale is a big question mark on electric cars - that's why i keep putting off these amazing vehicles.
Well narrated
Quick acceleration drains fuel like crazy not only in ice cars, it does the same in EVs too. Please keep a check on your driving habits.
What after warranty how much is battery cost?

useful info bro
The key to use EV is to never let it drop below 20% charge
Car acchi hai Jagdev ji, par har kisi ke pass 50 lakh nhi hote.
How much will be battery cost
It's one of the best evs out there!
If you are so concerned about low running cost than why you have always used the commercial and expensive DC fast charging option every time ?
Awesome.
I would love to buy it need one less than 20 lakhs , hopefully we wlll get Creta Ev
Electric car makers are following apple as they usually say at the time of launch this iPhone has a biggest ever battery and can go upto 24 hours easily but after every 6 hours we have to get it charged 😢
very sensible point.. EV is not ready for being a primary car yet.. maybe for city drives, short drives, market drives etc..
One more point.. for those people with a sufficiently large solar plant at home EV cars are awesome addition
Low running cost at the price of 50000 PM or more than that of EMI ????????
Any EV above 25L in India is an High end Luxury car and not for fuel saving purpose.
18-25L is a decent amount to spend on an EV, you break even the fuel savings by 5 years. Post that you will end up saving a lot on fuel itself.
I rather get bit by dogs every Tuesday than spend another day trying to find an EV charger that works and waiting a week to charge the car because either there's a line or for some reason a 50kw charger is outputting only 7.
But why Tuesday 😅
EV can be used only for city drives as secondary car.
Now EVs are better for city drive with secondary car
Ev only makes sense if u use it for daily commutes and that too if it is more than 50km and i like tiago ev in that regards
there video on just search electric Vs petrol costing over 5 yrs well he has explained everything thing on excel well internal combustion engines are king every thing is been calculated evs proved to expensive.
Cng car mei bhi almost similar cost aayega
Public charging is not how a normal user will use and cost will be less
Ghr pe q charge nhi kr skte .. sbse km cost ghr pe charge krne pr auegi
I have a tesla and the charging time sucks and I have to be restricted to go to particular place
1000 ki charging karke half charge mila to main petrol car na chlau?
Why can't you just charge at home "only", and use within city limits ! For me petrol cars are useless because of poor automatic performance/options, more fuel consumption, high petrol costs
I don’t agree with you. Full electric cars are poor choice as vehicle for daily commute.
The best option is Strong hybrid car. Till just 3 years ago there o was only one option available - and that too was in luxury segment - Toyota Camry hybrid. However as on today the scenario has changed completely and there are several options available in all price segments.
They have several unbeatable advantages over EVs.
Go hybrid. Ev Market is still 5 years away atleast
Hybrid min chaalu hoti hai 21.5 lakhs se
Hybrid is ok, but power is missing.
CNG took 20 years to reach every corner ... EV will take min. 10 years. Till then Hybrid is the way out.
EV are best for Taxi
Electric gaadi battery after 15 baad kya haal hoga sabhi ko nahi pata hai 😅
range anxiety will always keep me away from EVs.
Why u charge outside daily u can charge at home
Why u r putting wrong tag. It's a shame just to attract attention
5:34 petrol car overtake karke chala gaya😅
We need to improve our Basic Civil Sense! 😕
Ise achha toyoto Camry le lo . hybrid engine.
Bhai ghar par charger nhi hai kya
Hybrid is the future..
Rather than driving ionic 5 for so long you could have tested the same with a car like tata punch.ev which would have been lot more helpful
Toh bhai tumhare ghar me ya apartment parking me charger kyu nahi hai? Isn't this slightly illiogical to have an EV and not charge it overnight. Additional top ups ke liye public chargers are okay but complete reliance on just the public chargers is not sustainable esp in India.
For EVs to be successful in India, don't we need reliance on public chargers only? Think of the people who're on rent, or those in a multi-storey with no parking space, or those who park their cars on the street. To think that everyone can have charging facility at home -- isn't that more than slightly illogical?

I love ev
Your thumbnail is in english, and half the words you speak are english but dont understand what your saying.. 😳

Ev cars are driving pleasure
Ev are failure in world not low running cost as price of ev are high
If you want peace of mind do not buy electric cars . It’s just for Sunday market shopping
Very true...EV is misleading and costliest concept.
Don't see any great future in India
lol. i will come back to this comment in 10 years.
Bought Dark Nexon ev 18 months back, done 23k kms, pay 2.5k pm for charging, avg cost 2rs per km, cost of car 16 lakh for ev, same in petrol for 14.5 lakh, for petrol wud have paid 2.40 lakh for 23k km at avg of 10 km per litre, mumbai rate is 106 per litre, paid for ev charge total 45k.
So already in gain of about 40k over and above of paying extra for ev. Next 6 years with avg of 15k km running per year, will save about 1.20lakh per year with avg petrol cost at 106 PL. That's about 7 lakh avg will save... Any perol car sold after 8 years will get about 2 to 3 lakh if i sell n ev about 1 to 2 .. loss of 1 lakh against gain of 7 lakh in petrol cost after 7 to 8 years... Why shouldn't u buy an ev.... maintenance is again a save of 1 to 1.5 lakh in 7 years.... Now a days u get Tiago around 10 lakh n it's phenomenal as compared to price n savings, will surely recommend an ev for long term savings and super drive feeling.... Go EV.....
Well said. Super analysis..
Kitna promotion karoge.... 1000/- for 50% charging... Cng use kar lete😂😂😂
This is branded content, it seems.
Ev cars are just a fad, a premium of atleast 5 lakhs is not justified, unless driving it like a cab, moreover if you live in a flat and dont have personal charger its impractical atleast as of now. Whenever its going to be time vs cost of fuel its always time for me... imagine stuck in a petrol bunk for 1 hr to fill fuel, absolutely ridiculous
Electric vehicles are more dangerous than petrol and diesel to environment. What will you do with those used of batteries.. As now we are facing problems with plastic so will the next generation with all these electric used debris.
With petrol and Disel next generation will face global warming. We can find solution for battery recycling
I will buy diesel even now.
Evs are not the future definitely
Because of its range and many other factors
Does electric cars produce magnetic field radiation that is not good for health
Musibat paise de kar khareedni ho toh ev car le lo.. 😂
My Altroz diesel XM+S, hardly 22500 per month including EMI and diesel cost. Additionally, fuel savings ke liye 50 lakh ki EV lene ka matlab hai tv bech ke remote lena 😂
