Interesting how "The Tragic Prince" was supposed to be Alucard's theme, but this is the song he's most associated with. Guess that's what happens when you put a song at the very start of a game.

I believe 'Tragic prince' was refering to Dracula himself as he is known as the prince of darkness,plus usually the main character theme does play in the very first stage in pretty much all Castlevania games.

That could be true, but I believe that is the contrary, because the title would refer to Alucard as a son that never could totally grow in a complete family, because his mother Lisa was burned because she was accused of being a witch and his father became mad and depressed in the end after that.

Although most people associate "Dracula´s Castle" with Alucard, it seems that both themes match almost perfectly with him.
