I'm two years down the road next month on this oven. It is impossible to clean. You can't wipe it while it's still HOT and by the time diner is over and it's cooled down the blasted grease is turned to black plastic. Ew. I was thinking to take it out in the yard and turn it on it's back and spray oven cleaner on it. I guess I'd have to tape off the fan. You couldn't wipe the cleaner off of that.
I’ve cleaned mine every time after I’ve used it, but I have put accessories in dishwasher… the inside of oven looks awful! Even though I’ve cleaned it right after it’s cooled.
This is a great video on how to clean your ninja foodi digital air fry oven if you never actually use it. Look how clean that is prior to cleaning!! After a few times of actual use "warm soapy water" won't make it look like that; yeah it may be "clean" but it still has unsightly stains. On the plus side, it is functional and works great. But please post a video of an actual dirty ninja foodi digital air fry oven getting cleaned with warm soapy water and show what it looks like before and after that cleaning. I guarantee it won't look like that!
Thank you for reaching out to Ninja. We appreciate you feedback on how to clean your ninja foodi digital air fry oven video. We will forward your view of posting a how to clean video of a dirty model along to the appropriate department to review it.
I agree 100% with you, Eagle 14 . This guy didn't actually clean this oven. He just read it from the manual. Soap and warm water and non abrasive pads don't clean off the food burned spatters sticking to the inside of the oven, especailly the top ceiling. Read the buyers' comments. on Amazon. Many, many buyers complained about this problems. After my FIRST USE, roasting a chicken, I cleaned and it was IMPOSSIBLE! I searched online for help , and the ones who could clean it off had to use chemical cleaners and fine abraisive pads like Brillo, Bissell Steam Shots, etc. !!! I love this oven, but I AM GOING TO RETURN my $339 oven and use my regualar oven or buy a Cuisinart again.

@@NinjaKitchenUS I have recently purchased a ninja Foodi XL with Temperature control. I have been clean until the night I air fried juicy hamburgers on level three. Now I have baked on grease in side the back grill / vent which I can't get into. If can't clean its going to stink the the place up and be vermin hotel.
Same here in regards to cleaning. I have spent an unnatural amount of time scrubbing the broiler pan/tray and it still looks awful. Soaking does not help. Last time I made chicken, I cooked it on the stove with an 8.00 pan and I was able to wipe it clean in seconds. I find solace that it's not just me that is having these troubles but still regretful of this costly lesson. I cannot recommend this appliance.
Just watch this guy as he cleans a brand new product!! Haha wish it was this easy in real life! Anyone actually know how to get one of these clean? Lots of people are having a hard time with cleaning the back wall.
Hello Clint. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with cleaning the Air Fry oven. To look into this for you please provide us with your model number.
Thats what I want to know, how to access the fan and clean it after a couple of air-frying the fan is full of grease already.been searching everywhere how to remove the fan cover.
As much as I like the functionality, the thing is impossible to clean. I have no idea how grease glues itself to the surfaces with such force, but it certainly does. Even the oven tray and roast rack seem to attract grease. I have never experienced anything like it before. Even after scrubbing the roast rack and tray with neat washing up liquid they are sticky with grease. The crumb tray has a solid coating of hardened grease on it despite it being soaked in boiling water and washing up liquid. As for the air fry basket!! Don't let's go there. After just a couple of months I am becoming reluctant to use it because of the hassle of cleaning up afterwards.
I hope that you have already found out how to clean that, but if not - - I use an SOS pad. It removed all the gunk on the oven glass door. The grandkids had used the appliance and the fan section at the back is not getting as clean as I’d hoped though. Still checking on how to get that grease off!
I solved the cleaning problem. I put the oven in the back of my car and drove to the local recycling place. I then threw it in a skip! Problem solved!@@slcRN1971
Does this mean I can soak the entire unit in warm soapy water once it gets greasy? This unit tends to get very greasy on the inside. This video is completely useless beyond use only soap and water on the inside. No kidding soak the removable items in soapy water. Have you seen the inside of one of these units even after a month of use? Or do you spray starch your shoelaces?
Your so right I have a hard time to clean my oven also very easy to get dirty and hard to clean Tried many things And takes for ever to try to get it off
@@NinjaKitchenUS Do you recognize sarcasm? Clearly you recognize sarcasm as well as you recognize that baked on/air fried grease is IMPOSSIBLE to clean off of your oven with warm soapy water after you let it cool down. 😡
If I have to do all that the many times I use it a day, I would save time just using my large oven. It at least doesn’t get as dirty as this one plus has a self cleaning option.
Is there anything you can do to prevent splatter on the fan from air frying? I know this is a really old video but I’m just getting mine tomorrow and want to get any info before i use it. Thanks so much for the great video.
Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. You may not be able to prevent splatter with each use but it would be best advised to clean the interior after each use to prevent build-up. You can do so by wiping away any food splatter on the interior walls and glass door of the unit with a soft, damp sponge. Always unplug the unit from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Hi! For you to clean your Ninja, use a damp, non-abrasive sponge to wipe down the exterior and control panel, and wash removable parts like the pan, rack, and crumb tray with warm, soapy water after each use; for stubborn grease, soak parts in warm soapy water before scrubbing with a soft brush; avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing pads. Hope this helps you .
I've been looking for the same! I just can't find anything that will have the room for 2 shelves like the Ninja so you can cook a whole roast dinner in it. The Ninja seems perfect for me but I just can't buy it knowing how hard it is to clean and especially since it would have to be cleaned every single day. I'm chronically ill and so I'm looking for something that is as easy to maintain as it is to use. I think they really missed a trick by using the materials that they did. We're looking for ways to save money right now and that's why we're looking at an air fryer or similar. But the amount of water and gas that would be used just in cleaning this kind of defeats the object of having one.
@@NinjaKitchenUSninja xl pro is the worst one to clean. I have used mine for few months and it looks like it is 2 yrs old airfryer and never been cleaned. May be you should come up with ideas on how to remove grease inside it.
They can't recommend a way to clean it without voiding your warranty or smoking up your house. I take mine out on my back deck and air fry it empty at 400. Depending on what, and how much, is on the elements it will smoke and eventually burn off after a few minutes. You can remove the guards but thats more effort (and voids warranty) than the 15 minute outside burn time.
Shortly after the launch of the Ninja Foodi Oven, it was determined that the splatter guard was not required covering the fan and that the product performed equally well with just the metal grate covering the fan. Moving forward, no units are being manufactured with the splatter guard. The metal grate covering the fan can be cleaned per the instructions in the manual for cleaning the interior of the product.
@@NinjaKitchenUS I have the same problem and i cant seem to get it off the splatter, on the back were the fans is. i was going to go and get oven cleaner.. someone in my work told me to try that. i use soap and water to clean the splatter no way can i get it off.
My experience: Ninja recommends not using abrasives and Dawn Platinum power wash is dish soap and is the right one 1. Remove the racks and tray from the oven. 2. put them in the kitchen sink and apply down spray on them and leave them there for 20 minutes. Then with the dish sponge wipe both sides and rinse with water. 3. To clean inside the oven, apply down platinum spray to a microfiber cloth generously and pass it over the entire interior with some pressure, being careful with the heat elements and the fan. Includes the door glass. Wait 20 minutes. Moisten another microfiber cloth with warm water and begin to pass through the entire interior. If the cloth becomes very dirty, grab another one and repeat until the oven is as clean as possible. 4. For the exterior of the oven, apply down platinium spray, wait 10 minutes and with a microfiber cloth moistened with warm water, clean the entire surface.Clean the door slots with a baby bottle cleaner that has been sprayed down. Repeat this oven cleaning procedure every 1-2 weeks.
When ninja learns about "novel" materials like polished stainless steel, wake me up. Until then this oven is HORRIBLE to use. Its like the metal has pores because they were too cheap to use the right material/finish.
Hello, we offer sincere apologies for any inconveniences caused. Please know that your comments will be taken on board, and we'll pass them along to our product development team. We hope you can give us another opportunity in the future.
What is considered a non-abrasive liquid cleanser? Could you elaborate more on this? I don't if what I have would break up the grease that splattered on the interior of the air fryer.
@@NinjaKitchenUS I have tried dawn and palmolive soap these don't work. What other non-abrasive soaps can you use? I've only been using my ninja air fryer oven for a months or two and it's already stained. I tried scrubbing off the stains inside the oven and the air frying tray but the dark Mark's are still there. And since my model you can't use aluminum foil because it will catch on fire there is nothing to protect the tray from the grease. What else can be done?
@JaniceHorner-oo4vl: My daughter and her family use this a lot and I tried to clean it for them. Being careful I used Dawn soap (and hopefully it was ok to do what I did next) and after rinsing that out, I took an SOS pad (states it’s the non-abrasive type) to clean that glass door (soap and water barely touched the grease and stains). It took some effort scrubbing, but it looks so much better now (basically clear again).
its the only area thats easy to keep clean lol . i use spray glass cleanercalled invstible window crystal clear asda so possibly walmart sell it but you can buy online . its great for anyglass i also use iton my woodburner glass . but yet to find what dissoves roast meat splatter . . have used pink stuff but it does not work on the back fan metal . .should be coated with non stick oven stuff god knows its not a cheap item in uk . apart from that it works amazingly well . apart from toast i need to use the grill function for that . the bottom element come on but are to far way from the toast to do anything its a wee bitty mad . but the grill makes fast toast lol
Used the air fryer mode first time. The splatter to the inside walls and sides of oven were bad. A video should be made of how to clean inside oven. A nonstick interior would help immensely. People like to keep their ovens clean
Hi Lisa! We'd only recommend using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior. We wouldn't recommend the use of abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners. In order to prevent grease dripping on the bottom elements in the future, we'd recommend always having the sheet pan underneath the air fry basket/roasting tray when cooking.
After just one use the sides and back inside the unit are dirty; and they do not "wipe off." In desperation I tried scrubbing ... to no avail. I see a couple air fryers on the market that "self clean." I LOVE my foodi dual. That sear plate is priceless. But it looks like I'll need to buy a new one frequently if I want to keep using one. **If you can design a self cleaning foodi dual heat air fry oven (like a self cleaning regular oven) I'd be willing to fork over $1000 more to get it.**
Please add information for self-cleaning. I need the entire device cleaned, not just what may catch grease, but the fan area and everything. For medical needs.
We cannot recommend removing any screw to clean, ColoradoRoys! We recommend cleaning your Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven thoroughly after every use. 1. Unplug the unit from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2. Empty crumb tray by sliding it out of the oven. 3. After every use, wipe away any food splatter on the interior walls and glass door of the unit with a soft, damp sponge. 4. To clean the exterior of the main unit and the control panel, wipe them clean with a damp cloth. A non-abrasive liquid cleanser or mild spray solution may be used. Apply the cleanser to the sponge, not the oven surface, before cleaning. 5. When using accessories, we recommend greasing them with butter or oil, or covering them with parchment paper or aluminum foil before placing food on top. DO NOT cover roast tray holes with parchment paper or aluminum foil. The air fry basket and wire racks can be put in the dishwasher, but may wear more quickly over time. DO NOT place roast tray, sheet pan, or crumb tray in dishwasher. To Deep clean your model 1. Unplug the unit from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2. Remove all accessories from the unit, including the crumb tray, and wash separately. Use a non-abrasive cleaning brush to more thoroughly wash the air fry basket. Accessories are hand-wash recommended. The air fry basket and wire racks can be put in the dishwasher, but may wear more quickly over time. DO NOT place roast tray, sheet pan, or crumb tray in dishwasher. 3. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior and glass door, DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners, as they will damage the oven. CAUTION: NEVER put the main unit in the dishwasher or immerse it in water or any other liquid. 4. To remove tough grease, let sheet pan and roast tray soak overnight in warm, soapy water, then wash with a nonabrasive sponge or brush. 5. Thoroughly dry all parts before placing them back in the oven.
Finally found out what works best is to run oven on toast on 7 slices twice and that removed most of the black on the heating element. Hope it helps someone else.
I have one more ? about cleaning. After roasting a chicken I now have some brown stains which are very hard to clean up. Are some of the stains going to be permanent or do I need to use something a little more abrasive? Thanks!

My only complaint about this appliance is IT IS SO HARD TO CLEAN. I have had it for 2.5 years...i have used my actual oven, maybe 11 times....but keeping the air fryer clean is a nightmare

It's the inside walls and inside oven door. Warm water and soap, and cloth do nothing for baked-on spatter. The racks and trays can be soaked, no problem. It's the inside that is so gross and impossible to clean.
I'm not sure if this is helpful . It is not enough to wipe the surfaces, even with the magic eraser. I don't use the accessories because I don't trust the black coating and the fact that I can't use the dishwasher. Should be a better way or a special product.
I’ve only owned mine a year and I called them not long after about cleaning it (same complaint as most of you). At the time they were useless. A year has gone by and now it smells and I used oven cleaner without thinking (might I say even that did not do a thing). Anyway in my research I saw others say they accidentally used oven cleaner and ninja said to call them. I decided to contact them again and they basically pushed it off on the oven cleaner company whom I called and got no human. It sounds like it’s more a fear of the chemical and heating the unit after cleaning. It’s a year old, I may have damaged it and nobody offers advice. 😢

Hi Susan, we recommend frequent cleaning to ensure that the oven works efficiently and doesn't build up any debris and grease that can be even harder to clean.
Why is all the lettering on the control panel easily wiping off with a clean wet rag? There’s no reason for that to happen with in a month of buying it. I know of at least 25 other people this has happened to.

@@NinjaKitchenUS That's a lie... I called Ninja personally less than a month after purchasing it because the letters were wiped completely off!! They said they could do nothing. We could return the oven or exchange it, but that they can't guarantee it wouldn't happen again. So what good is doing any of those things if they all do that?! You should have stickers or something available to remedy the problem...at the very least!
So in the manual it says not to use foil while cooking because it can cause overh acting and potential fire ...?????? Just a thought that this video shouldn't contradict the safety warning. Also I thought it said to only use soapy water inside for cleaning, no cleaners abrasive or not....

Why is it my heating elements turn when im wiping them ? Is that normal? Then I just noticed some of the words on the display are wiping off and the fan cover is rusted !! What would cause that ? @@NinjaKitchenUS Nothing works. Your wipe down with warm soapy water is good for something new and has never been used. Very disappointed. I do love my Ninja. But it is uncleanable as designed!
It is impossible to clean this oven once it has cooled down with soap and water and its a complete waist of time phoning the help line, they are as useful as a chocolate tea pot! Question for Ninja - so what happens if you scratch the surface?☹☹ I suspect you would have a clean oven with a slightly scratched surface but an oven that still works and is hygienic.
We understand your concerns, John. We recommend using a non-abrasive sponge to avoid scratching the interior, as it may cause a risk to rust. With this said, you can use baking soda and vinegar to clean the interior, but only with a non-abrasive sponge.
With Ninja responding to cleaning queries by limply saying they can only suggest trying a damp cloth, (which they accept won't work), it's clear tgey are really admitting a fundamental design fault. Hence, if you want an oven you can clean properly, DON'T BUY THIS ONE! Having said that, we did, and for very limited purposes, it's quite good. But we would never use it for anthing messy, like air frying, as we know it would be uncleanable afterwards. Pity.
We recommend to use a soft cloth and warm soapy water to washed out the inside. Do not use abrasive cleaner, scrubbing brush or chemical cleaner. Also do not put the oven in a dishwasher or immerse in water.

@@lindaholley3368 That's what I want to know; and I can't find an answer anywhere. All it says in the troubleshooting section of the manual is to run a "toast" cycle on shade 7 with accessories removed; "this will burn off any additional grease on the heating elements that are causing smoke"

@@NinjaKitchenUS This product is inferior and I have already tried several methods to clean it. I’m confident that any assistance you provide will not have a positive result unless you are planning to send me a new oven that CAN BE CLEANED.
@@franmeyer5218this is what I was hoping for since mines a year old, nope. Like you said a fire hazard because the grease does not come off at all. My walls and roof of the oven were black and charred and grease (and I don’t cook greasy things). When it started to smell like burning I decided to try another clean and used oven cleaner without thinking. I love ninja but I won’t be buying from them again. Once this one is declared not safe to use I gave another brand in mind that looks easier to clean. I just hate that I paid almost $400 and in a year it might not be safe.
OKAY ninja - thanks for the video on how to maintain the oven. But how about a tutorial for us smooth brain normies who use it for a year straight and now its mega nasty
Thanks for reaching out, Connor! If you're experiencing stuck on grease/residue we'd recommend creating a paste with baking soda, and hot water. You can apply it to the affected area, and leave it to sit for a bit. You can then use a damp cloth to remove the paste from the affected areas.
Where did all the replies go. They are "hiding". I cleaned my Foodi 8 in 1 with baking soda. I don't recommend it. What a mess! Next time I'll just toss it and buy a new one. These ovens definitely needs to be self-cleaning.
Hello Sonya! We are sorry to hear about this issue. We hope you will try the Air Fryer Oven again in the future, and we will forward your feedback to the correct team for future products.
Great question, John, you can find the deep cleaning steps below: 1.
I'm sorry but this video is soooo not true. I'm just laghing looking at you with this brand new ninja and with that soft sponge. This ninja is amazing. I love it! but don't tell me is easy to clean because is impossible. Is absurd!!! Please make a real video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

came here to see if there were better insights on how to clean this, instead found out tons of people are having the same issues with the button labels coming off. Anybody elses sheet pans warped as well? Always washed mine by hand & used foil liners if anything, but they'll buckle/tweak kinda violently during cooking and occasionally launch food everywhere. Going to try a soft brush and some peroxide/baking soda paste.

This doesn’t work The unit should be cleaned thoroughly after every use. Cleaning is made easy with the following steps. 1 Unplug the unit from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2 Empty crumb tray by sliding it out of the oven. 3 After every use, wipe away any food splatter on the interior walls and glass door of the unit with a soft, damp sponge. 4 To clean the exterior of the main unit and the control panel, wipe them clean with a damp cloth. A non-abrasive liquid cleanser or mild spray solution may be used. Apply the cleanser to the sponge, not the oven surface, before cleaning. 5 When using accessories, we recommend greasing them with butter or oil, or covering them with parchment paper or aluminum foil before placing food on top. Do not cover roast tray holes with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

My man really did a tutorial on how to return a brand new oven to the condition it was when it was in the box 4 minutes earlier.
He sure did. Does anyone have any actual advise ?
I'm two years down the road next month on this oven. It is impossible to clean. You can't wipe it while it's still HOT and by the time diner is over and it's cooled down the blasted grease is turned to black plastic. Ew. I was thinking to take it out in the yard and turn it on it's back and spray oven cleaner on it. I guess I'd have to tape off the fan. You couldn't wipe the cleaner off of that.
This air fryer is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to clean!!!!

I’ve cleaned mine every time after I’ve used it, but I have put accessories in dishwasher… the inside of oven looks awful! Even though I’ve cleaned it right after it’s cooled.
How do you clean the baked on grease off the heating elements?
I came for this. They missed a bit of an opportunity.
That's exactly what I am searching for. As well... how to remove the grease that won't come off on the back wall 🤔 😒

Same here in regards to cleaning. I have spent an unnatural amount of time scrubbing the broiler pan/tray and it still looks awful. Soaking does not help. Last time I made chicken, I cooked it on the stove with an 8.00 pan and I was able to wipe it clean in seconds. Yeah it’s not like you can soak the whole dang oven in the soapy water so some REAL ideas would be helpful on how to clean the INSIDE!
@@NinjaKitchenUS My fan is covered in grease. Any suggestions on how to clean?
@@NinjaKitchenUS thanks for admitting its an ad and not a tutorial. i stg corporate accounts are detached from reality.
HI Funkychicken755 We are sorry to hear this. Please do not put the entire unit insoapy water. Just wash inside with the soapy water.

Im now googling "What oven is like the Ninja but easier to clean"!!! If there is one out there I'm buying it.
We're sorry to hear that, Lorna. We will pass along your feedback to our team.
Let me know when you find an air fryer which cleans up easily., please. This is terrible to clean‼️
I have the model DT251. There is not a cover for the fan. Why not?? How do you keep from grease being spattered on the fan blades???
Well that really helped me… said no one.
Is there a self cleaning option to burn off all the grease? mine has some on the heating element and IM not sure how to clean it.
Hello. There is no self-cleaning option for the XL pro Air Fry oven. To find cleaning instructions we recommend for you to go to spr.ly/6053zazaF.
Exactly. I cleaned using their recommendation with baking soda and now the metal is all weird and it smells and makes our food taste like metal
What is considered a non-abrasive liquid cleanser? Could you elaborate more on this? I don't if what I have would break up the grease that splattered on the interior of the air fryer.
Hi Miesha Dish soap like Dawn is not abrasive. This is an example.
What about cleaning grease splatter inside the glass door?
We recommend that you use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior and glass door after each use.

In order to prevent grease dripping on the bottom elements in the future, we'd recommend always having the sheet pan underneath the air fry basket/roasting tray when cooking.
@@NinjaKitchenUSyou just regurgitated non-helpful information. 🤨

A non-abrasive liquid cleanser or mild spray solution may be
used.

3. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior and glass door, DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners,
as they will damage the oven.

To clean the upper heating element we recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth.

I have one more ? about cleaning. After roasting a chicken I now have some brown stains which are very hard to clean up. Are some of the stains going to be permanent or do I need to use something a little more abrasive? Thanks!
All we can recommend for cleaning the unit is a damp cloth. If that dose not working there is nothing else we can adv to get stains off.

I do that how about the burner or hitting bars. ?
Hello Maria. Thank you for your interest in the Air Oven. For deep cleaning it we recommend the following steps:
3. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior and glass door, DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners,
as they will damage the oven.

Can I cook fish wrapped in tin foil in the Ninja Foodi Oven/
Thank you for asking, Natalie. We do not recommend to use foil in the oven as it can cause over heating.
Reserve 30 minutes to an hour to maintain appliance per each use. Optimally, avoid use of oven to keep it in tip top condition. Additionally, invest in large quantities of disposable, consumable resources for each meal prepared or consumed.

It's the inside walls and inside oven door. Warm water and soap, and cloth do nothing for baked-on spatter. The racks and trays can be soaked, no problem. It's the inside that is so gross and impossible to clean.
Love how they clean a new clean oven 😂😂
I'm not sure if this is helpful . It is not enough to wipe the surfaces, even with the magic eraser. I don't use the accessories because I don't trust the black coating and the fact that I can't use the dishwasher. Should be a better way or a special product.

Do magic erasers scratch the oven inside?

Thank you for reaching out to Ninja, Carol! We are terribly sorry to hear you are unable to clean the interior of your Foodi Amart XL Pro Air Oven. After every use, we recommend wiping away any food splatter on the interior walls and glass door of the unit with a soft, damp sponge, to prevent grease build up.
@@NinjaKitchenUS Thank you for reaching out. It is not possible to clean the baked-on grease from cooking food with just soap and water after using. I have used "Bar Keepers" cleaner on the back and side and that has helped. The bottom tray is all stained and I tried everything on that. It is the way it is from the material it is made out of. I love how it cooks just not how it looks. The white paint has come off the cooking circles on the right side so I have taped above them with pen what each circle is.
You can clean the baked on grease with just soap and water after use.
Annnnd now how do you clean a used one?
Thank you for reaching out to us, Dawn! The unit should be cleaned thoroughly after every use by following the below instructions.
A non-abrasive liquid cleanser or mild spray solution may be
used.
To remove tough grease, let the sheet pan and roast tray soak overnight in warm, soapy water, then wash with a nonabrasive sponge or brush.

@NinjaKitchenUS it does not work. Read the comments
But we would never use it for anthing messy, like air frying, as we know it would be uncleanable afterwards.

yeah...considering we use this thing 2-3 times a day, this is not realistic. We clean it 3-4 times a month. And its still full of brown grease now. They should revisit the design of this so the interior panels can be easily replaced after a while.

All Ninjas responses are bullshit This is not a cleanable product It is the 3rd Ninja Product we have purchased and it will be the last The fryer function is not well thought out , the fan gets funky with 2 uses 250 for this, I could have had a steak at Peter Lugers and had change CRAPOOLA!
Bro, we need some more realistic directions, for those of us that DO NOT wipe down every time.
Still need to know how to clean this AFTER you’ve used it. I cannot get any grease off. It stinks and makes our food taste bad. Ugh!! Waste of money
We're sorry to hear about your difficulty with cleaning the unit, Amanda. After every use, wipe away any food splatter on the interior walls and glass door of the unit with a soft, damp sponge.
Ain't this some bullshit, lol. How to clean a brand new, never used ninja foodi oven 🤦♀️.

Yes I looked and all of you have basic cleaning but not one has the cleaning of fan blades or how to actually get in to do it. Just another video telling very little but the obvious.

Even I can clean a "clean" XL.
yaa, this video is not helpful
The fan (both that grill and the fan blades behind) will evenutally get covered in baked on grease. And off to the sides, those recessed corners as well. And soapy water, a vingar/backing soad mix (that one actually made things worse) wont clean it off.
This thing is great, but the design was not made to be cleanable.

This doesn’t work
The unit should be cleaned thoroughly after every use.
Hi Andrew! We're so sorry you're having trouble cleaning your XL Pro Air Oven. Here are some additional steps for a deeper clean:
3. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior and glass door - Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners, as they will damage the oven. Never put the main unit in the dishwasher, or immerse it in water/any other liquid.
4. To remove tough grease, let sheet pan and roast tray soak overnight in warm, soapy water, then wash with a nonabrasive sponge or brush.
5. Thoroughly dry all parts before placing them back in the oven.
