    First things first, I can tell from the tarnish on the old unit that it was used and LOVED! I can truly trust your reviews because it’s not shiny.
    A note about cleaning the smaller unit, in the states only the SP101 model has the bottom that opens up for easy cleaning. Some models might not have that feature.
    I’m looking to replace dying basket air fryer and my oven for non large batches of things. I heard that it can also save on electricity so that’s my justification for a larger/more expensive unit. I plan on utilizing it for majority of tasks outside of boiling pasta :)

      @AbbyBReviewing  7 місяців тому +1

      Hello, yes, it was definitely loved and used! Thanks for sharing, and for that tip on the US models.
      Good luck with your decision. Both of these would make a good replacement for an old basket airfryer and even an oven, in my opinion.

    Hello Abby. I have read other reviews that there is an issue with the factory smell prior to first time using the Ninja XL. Will the smell dissipate after washing and baking it (with nothing) for the first time? Thank you.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  3 місяці тому +2

      Hello, when reading the instruction manual before using it for the first time, it tells you to run it at a specific time and temp will all pans and accessories inside. There is a smell that comes off, which is normal, but it's not pleasant. The smell did disappear after the first 1-2 uses with both the Ninjas in my experience.

    Excellent. You have a very friendly voice. Clear and easy to understand. I think for me the larger oven seems like a logical investment living in Tucson Arizona in summer, hate to fire up normal size oven when it is 120 degrees outside....poor A/C unit can't keep up... plus $$$ so even if the initial cost may be higher, it makes energy efficient sense.....

    That's a shame I like the mini, for homemade pizza its perfect, I honestly cant understand why Ninja did not have the sense to make the bigger unit cross compatible, same depth and width so we could use our parts from the smaller unit. while they are at it add an spit roast attachment I mean come on do we need to dehydrate food, yea I'm going to skip this one hopefully development mean has sense to match some of the cheaper competition. Great review btw and its nice to see someone using a product for real, sometimes I feel the reviewers stuck it back in the box and post straight back to Amazon after use. so clean and often still with stickers on.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  8 місяців тому +1

    The ninja pro xl 10 in 1, my first time use I experienced a smell. Does this smell go away? How do I get rid of the smell? Please reply thank you.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  3 місяці тому +1

      Hello, please read the manual. You are supposed to run it at a specific temperature and time with all accessories inside it before the first use. The smell is normal and if you following the instructions it will go away after the 1st or 2nd use.

    Put foil at the bottom and on the trays to help keep them clean. Use steel wool to clean the old grease without using chemicals on it.

  • @mikepalma3341
    @mikepalma3341 Місяць тому +2

    Good review, but please take the time to clean your stuff. You will eventually get a grease fire if you don’t. As far as cleaning your mesh tray 1 spray with olive oil, baking spray 2 clean while the tray is warm under hot water and use a stainless steel scrubbers . It will take off all the nasty. I have both units. I use the smaller one for just 1-2 people and the larger for larger meals .

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  Місяць тому +1

      @mikepalma3341 Hello, and thank you! So, I use this about 3 times a day to cook, toast bake etc., cleaning it that much is not something i can be bothered to do but, others are free to clean their units as much as they please. And I'll try that for the mesh tray!

    I had a cuisinart oven similar to that with the same pans and it too was a challenge to clean after a while while grease builds up, but as for the drip trays, covering with tin foil seemed to help drastically...

    I was looking to see if either of these are hard to keep clean and I can see that your smaller one can get stained pretty easily. With all air friers (I have another version of the Ninja Foodie) that has a fan above the heating element on the top lid, I worry about the fan blades getting gummed up with cooking greases and whatnot and I have a fear that the gummy substance might attract insects, the thought of which freaks me out. I suppose that all fan blown ovens will have this issue. Though I have not heard anyone ever say that insects are drawn to these units. It still bothers me though.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  7 місяців тому +1

      Hello, both dirty easily. The smaller unit is just older (had it for 2 yeats)and used more, so you see the build-up over time. And I got tired or scrubbing it down to clean every use lol but that could he avoided in one were to celan it after every use. Also, as i mentioned, the smaller model i have is easier to clean as you can comepleley open the bottom.
      If you are worried about pests/ build-up on the fans, i would recommend cleaning thoroughly after each use. But to be honest, I don't think most people would do that. I definitely dont and haven't had any bug issues with it nor issues with the fan running in either unit for reference.

      😂...Well the older one is 2 years old, and I mentioned I stopped cleaning it daily, but it's way easier to clean than the XL. For those motivated enough to clean it daily after every use it wouldn't look as bad. My XL will probably look worse after 2 years as it is harder to clean
