What are your top things to do in and around Bath?
Have you ever been to Bath?
no I haven't
@S Alf do you like to live there?
@S Alf well at least I enjoyed both of my visits to Bath. It seems as a great place to live.
I live here
There is also a Bath, North Carolina, USA. Bath, NC has the oldest Protestant (episcopal) church in North Carolina named St Thomas Episcopal Church built in the 1500’s,
Would love to take a bath there to feel the Roman luxury life style. Thanks for sharing.
Some woman did the other month and refused to get out lol she just swam up and down lol ,it was on the local news 🤣
Thanks for making this video! Been thinking about a weekend away somewhere we haven’t been before and this sold me on Bath!
Enjoy!
Wow a really great video and you shared some great history as well. Thank you kindly 🙏
Thank you so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed it!
The architecture of the Bath abbey is incredible and so much history there. I've never been to Bath or any of the other locations you mentioned. Bristol looked lovely too. Haha that parade was too funny.
That parade (which was one car) was so random... Covid, city deserted and out of nowhere this car passed by and was driving around the city. At least it brought a lot of happiness during these times.
Great footage, really enjoyed the area and your narrative.
Awesome! Thank you!
Love the presenting :-)
Nice video. 👍🏻👍🏻
We made one on Bath a few months ago and it looks like you were there around the same time.
We really love this city. So much to see and do and so much history 😁😁
We were there just before the National Lockdown came into place, just before Christmas. But yes so much history and things to do indeed!
it's £28 per person to visit the Baths now, insane!
That increased fast over the years. As all prices did everywhere last years unfortunately. But yeah from £12.50 to £28 that is insane in just 2 years time.
Thank you for the video. I wanted to go Tomorrow to Bristol, after your video i Will go to Bath.
No reason to not visit both of the places. But pretty sure you will enjoy Bath!
@@Svenywhere thank you I have one day left. Thank you 😍 I Will visit Bath.
Love the history and architecture found all over in Europe. I do however have a soft spot for the UK. Lovely video Sven. Pity about the weather. 👍 🌷 🙋♀️
Weather is part of the UK. So we need to love that part as well.
Beautiful
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Bath 8s my happy place. Returning there soon.
Have fun
Read about this place in chaucer's 'The prologue to the Canterbury tales' and again in a literary gem ' persuasion '
Nice video, good job
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice video👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you 👍
Hi what a great video, thank you for sharing this, I am a new learner to be a youtuber, so if I may asked, would you mind if I use your video as my inspirations, as I am going to Bath next week. Cheers dude.
Glad you liked it. Not sure what you mean with inspiration but sure these videos are meant for people to go out and explore these places!
Bath is cliquey and prejudice.
Can you explain further?
@@princessaKLG From being stared at in the street to passive aggressive behaviour. To some people I’ve come across people being scared to serve me in shops. People are very uncomfortable with anything different. Have to say this isn’t the older people. The ones over 50 are very polite and nice people. The ones under 50 are the ones who are the most insular and display the most prejudice attitudes. It isn’t all of the younger people but the frequency I’ve come across these attitudes are very much higher than anywhere I’ve come across in England.
There was a definite change after the BLM protests but for it to take a world event like that to make a difference says a lot about a city that wants to make claims to being a liberal city.
@@princessaKLG There are just far too many instances of discriminating behaviour. But if anyone calls it out or says anything they are seen as the ones causing a problem. It isn’t a good environment if people cannot speak about racist situations they have come across.
@@AA-rd3pr I actually just had a short trip there and did pick up a weird vibe. I found generally people were generally not friendly and I put it down to tourist burnout and/or C virus burnout. However, I notice there is very little diversity there as well.
Ridiculous statement
They rarely just mention religion.
You should do another video of Bath without the mask.
Good shout! Would love to visit it once again and cover it again.
