- After Frank has an odd encounter, Bert recounts an old Mid-Sodor legend…
So here’s the second installment to Sudrian Stories From Hell’s Second Volume. Really proud of this one. I wrote this one last year, and even considered making it the bonus episode for the Volume 1 compilation- until I decided I liked it too much for that. Anyway, big thanks to the cast once again for absolutely killing it, thanks again to Ryan for helping me with the script, and uh- yeah. Episode 3 drops next Friday, so stay tuned for that. And as always, hope you have a great day! -Rhen

Please make a sequel to this story you could go so far and make a perfect supernatural mini series out of this
yea
agreed
On the mid sodor the yellow engine was number two Bert is number two also so that means he’s most likely possessed
at this point I am beginning to think that Bert is the Engine !!! think about Bert is DEAD !!! the Guard from hell KILLED Him !!
The yellow engine is silent because he is mewing
So Bert is either possessed by the yellow engine, or he's become part of whatever cult it is
Or he is the yellow engine reborn
Or he could just be screwing with the others to creep them out
Well remember how he said those close enough to tell you are never heard from again what if it’s a curse and once you tell someone about it you get infected
@@stevenmosco20I would screw with them too if I were him.
that overhaul he had, might have done the trick
That was very unexpected here.
Interesting use on Victor's first livery model here to portrayed this mysterious yellow engine here. I guess we all needed a break from Proteus being used as a supernatural entity here. Also use a different yellow engine other then Duncan or Proteus or even Rheneas himself in a yellow livery.
This kinda reminds me of Albert's Ghost sort of, but I guess I have that in my mind here.
The ending was very unexpected.
A very twisted and interesting Story here. Can't wait for the other stories you have in mind for us.
Ending is very interesting. I hope we get a follow up. I love the inclusion of Victor; I think most of us are tired of Supernatural Proteus
Yeah, it has gotten SO STALE!!!!!
Victor but in his yellow livery
We’re you really surprised about the ending?
The real plot twist is the guy just had a song stuck in his head from back home.
I like how the ending is left open to interpretation.
Maybe Bert is Victor? I mean, would it be that far fetched to say a ghostly/demonic engine could use some black magic to Shapeshift?
Maybe Bert is simply possessed ?
Maybe Victor caught Bert at some point and swapped places with him?
Maybe Bert is carrying on the legacy of this yellow engine? (Although, seeing as we literally saw Victor, I find that option unlikely. I think he’s definitely still out there.)
Or maybe I’m completely off the mark?
I love it when spooky stories don’t give you all the information, but give you just enough that you can piece together your own explanation
If you don't mind me asking what do mean by swapped places? Do you mean he swapped bodies?
Which is something the CGI series should have often.
@@thetiredscot7821 souls stitched body
What if this is connected to The Guard From Hell? What if El Diablo or the yellow engine offered Bert a second chance at life in exchange for his soul?
@@JohntheLNERP2it could be. Because maybe Bert we know now isn't the same Bert from 'Guard From Hell' video
From what I can deduce, Victor’s counterpart was speaking in incantation. The mine serves as a sort of gateway between the land of the living and the land of the dead. Perhaps this engine is a lost spirit of the underworld, stuck in limbo traveling between the two worlds and can only be put to rest unless he takes the form of another engine. As far as which religion or language, I’m torn between Mayan and Aztec.
😮
Guys, remember Bert is technically already dead? The Guard from Hell took him... so maybe this Bert we now see is nothing more than the shape-shifting yellow engine taking on his appearance...
He got rebuilt
Different canons
I never thought about it, you might be onto something
That is a plot twist right there.
"Who is Victor? Well what if we took it one final step and said that Victor is Bert from the Arlesdale Railway?" - Not Matpat
Victor is the repair engine at the steam works.
Matpat NEEDS to make a theory
I like to think that this is one of Victor’s brothers and not Victor himself, heck this engine could be his twin.
Yeah but
Victors old livery is just like the yellow engine
What you have to understand is Bert is the oldest put of all of them, being built in the 1880s, whilst i don't believe he is the yellow engine, he definitely knows a lot more that what he says.
Holy scrap Victor's brother is a demon engine!
We don’t know for sure
You think his name could be Vector?
@@Thomasfan2002-pt7ht I doubt that.
that's not a brother. That is Victor himself
Damn! I’m gonna be at work when this premieres
The mystery whisper from a demon that sends or more likely puts engines in hypnosis then makes them disappear in the night
I think it is the ending that makes this story more creepy than the back story itself! To know that an engine that we all know and love can potentially disappear and/or maybe connected to the mysterious yellow engine that isn't Proteus. This story is more mystery than anything else and I think this is a real winner! There is a lot of new creative ideas here, the biggest one obviously being the use of Victor's pre-Sodor livery and the idea that Stanley was not the Mid-Sodor's original Number 2 but the MSR outsourcing to South America. 10/10.
Keep it up Rheneas Productions
Boy The Fact That Use Victor For This Story
And That Bert Puff Away While Saying The Chant Like The Yellow Engine From His Story Did 9:35
People on here saying Bert could be possessed by the Yellow Engine, reminds me of Dane/1020 from TheBlueSnowplow's horror series.
I think Bert is the Engine !!! remember the real Bert is dead the Guard from Hell KILLED Him !!!
I think i speak for all of us that we shoud have a second part of this story , is very original , an engine speaking on a languege that nobeone undestand is kinda creepy .
Well done man 👍👋😃
Well I’m surprised that the yellow engine was similar to Victor but it does speak a different language and it sounds eerie, but I don’t think Bert would haunt anyone, because after all, he was told the stories such as Albert’s ghost, so he’s just a normal engine especially in his rebuild
I agree with what you said about The Yellow Engine.
This is Intresting Victor met Duke
how can victor haunt the miniature rails when he doesn’t fit they’re gauge.
Ghosts aren't limited to the rules of the mortal relm. They have supernatural abilities that allow them to do things living people/engines can't do.
Demon powers
Tell that to Albert too
You saw him rolling, and now you are hating.
Its called a ghost. You even said it yourself. *Haunt*
Dude, awesome job on this! It was very well-written, and I’m intrigued to see what happens next. I appreciate you choosing me to be Bert, it was fun!
You did great with both this and Guard From Hell! I've observed that poor Bert seemingly can't catch a break on this channel, hehe!
The yellow tank engine is of a class built in the united states not south america, but otherwise it's spooky.
I’m pretty sure it’s cuban
@@AlexTheTrain52 Nope, built in in the USA and then exported to Cuba.
Quite the unexpected ending. Is Bert part of some cult we don't know of, that the Victor was part of. Also I don't like Victor being represented like this. Nevermind though. Also I hate Bert being rebuilt.
Were you even surprised about the ending?
@@kemperrogers5101 Well, I don't remember. I watched it 4 months ago.
Interesting to have a ending like this
After the Fog Phantom wraps up. Can you continue on this one?
victor - I don’t know why Kevin but I feel like kicking Bert’s tender tomorrow
They call me the jock of all trades
Finally more scary stories about my favourite childhood show these always make me feel nostalgic
Bert is the yellow engine ???
Yes
the vanishing express, the yellow engine & the whispers in the woods, they all must be connected to an even more sinister plot, just think about it give me the chills, when are you going to make a finale to explain that conventional plot.
Along with the sinister ending.
4:26 It sounds like someone whispering over the speaker
Some South American steam locomotives and Philippine locomotives are known to be cursed so this yellow engine must be cursed.
Man that was unexpected! I Love It! Please make a sequel!
The MSR manager could've just thrown the pictures and documents into a fireplace, he didn't have to burn down an entire shed.
What the hell- that ending was.. i was not expecting that- that was really good!
Coming back from BLUE MOUNTAIN MYSTERY❤
I thought before I saw the video, it was going to be the same story from Blue Mountain Mystery but more darker ending for Victor.
Same
I think I must have missed some preceding stories here - don't know Victor and Proteus, so the comments are lost on me. I thought the graphics are pretty good, love Frank's facial animations in particular, and the quite 'adult' backchat between them on the shed.
Bert fell victim to the curse that engine cast… it seems like that engine was infected by some kind of dark sorcery
BERTS been possesed 😢
no He is the Engine
What if Victor was acting strangely because he was traumatized by his accident? Then he left to the Steamworks and was painted red
That ending got me so good! I loved this Rhen, can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next installment!
My theory is that this engine is part of a multi dimensional cult and when he disappeared he left this universe and went to its own world.
I Like Victor He Is A Cool Character In Thomas And Friends
Very good! Quite spooky actually. Honestly thought it was Victor but was pleasantly surprised to find it was an original character. Nice! And very ambiguous ending too. Great stuff mate! Another TTTE horror classic
That was a freaky story but good! That plot twist of Bert was awesome I was like no way! Somehow this story reminds me of a ghost story my mom told me about what my grandpa encountered when he was a little boy.
Can you tell the story please, I’m interested to hear it.
@@edwardryan2476 When my grandpa was a young boy him and his family see this strange looking man and they decided to follow him. They follow him to a cemetery and the man is standing on the grave and all of sudden he drops, I don't mean drop dead, I mean descended into the grave.
@@dougsfilmtv9810 is there any prior story as to who this man was ?
@@edwardryan2476 No, that is a mystery but I have visited that cemetery where that story took place.
@@dougsfilmtv9810 Did your grandfather tell you what this man looked like ?
This story sounds very interesting especially at the end where Bert just mysteriously wandered off. I did wonder if Bert could possibly be himself the yellow engine?
remember Bert is dead the Guard from hell KILLED HIM !!! so I know He is the ENGINE
do you The Fog Phantom: Part III ? plsss
The yellow engine is
Victor
Good trainz model of Victor's 1st yellow paint job
This is a Spooky Story at that, Nice Job.👍
4:57 It sounds like background whispering
This has left me scratching my head. I can't say for sure what the deal is with The Yellow Engine and what's he up to. All I know is that he's the splitting image or same model as Victor who FYI is from Cuba. But I may have a theory.
My theory is that The Yellow Engine is actually from Haiti, which is right next to Cuba, and Haiti as well as other exotic countries are known for the occult tradition of....VOODOO. What I believe is that this engine was in fact experienced in the ways of voodoo arts and culture, and the mysterious chanting he was doing was an unclassified voodoo language, such as HVCL or Lucumi!
As for if he's a friend or foe, I'm kinda torn. He could be just a deeply religious steam engine who often says prayers while he's doing his work to feel close to home and often goes out at night do a rite of passage or ritual, like confessing your sins or making the sign of the cross. BUT....as for why he disappeared, either he suffered a fatal accident while he was out or.....he may not even be a MORTAL BEING! So he went to mines at Marthwaite to either pray in peace or perhaps do some kind of ritual to travel someplace else! As for why Bert started chanting and went away, that's got weird written all over it! Surely Bert can't be the Yellow Engine....OR IS HE?? If THAT'S true, then the Engine must've changed his appearance to avoid suspicion and somehow learned English! But if he was a yellow engine when Frank saw him.....I dunno, some kind of voodoo spell?! O_o
I still think Bert is the Engine remember that the real Bert is DEAD the Guard from hell KILLED HIM !!! so it's possible He is the ENGINE
Holy sh*t, honey... You're missing it, I think Bert's been possessed by the Yellow Engine.
or He is the yellow Engine !!!
This has made me go to a church and seek the lord’s comfort
I love seeing Victor representation
It's that, Victor !?
Most likely another member of his class
How am I not surprised about Bert singing the chant of the yellow engine or we could say victors first livery
or He is the Engine
I come after the premier and no one has spoiled the ending and only mentioned bert and a plot twists. Im a scardy cat and i don't appreciate that.
Either the engine came and unleashed a demon in the railway or a demon possessed him
This feels like a true Rheneas Productions story, an ending with open interpretation with slight hints about what happened. Love this one, great job Rhen!
Nice way of using Victor for this story, especially when he's in his old livery. And that language he uses... Could he be a Parselmouth?
And where on earth did Bert learn it from? What's going on?!?
is made forkids but who is thatyello engine name it looks like form ducan gets spook
That’s steam locomotive is from Cuba
What if this is connected to The Guard From Hell? What if El Diablo or the yellow engine offered Bert a second chance at life in exchange for his soul? Become that's my personal explanation for the ending
That yellow engine is just like victor
What did the yellow engine say in his echo voice???? And bert too
This actually really creeped me out, especially the ending with the plot twist. I couldn’t stop thinking about but I was able to sleep so that’s good 😂
Theese stories still are as amazing as last year I compared this to 10 o claw my favourite of 2022 and this was a huge improvement in terms of the writing and charecter choices also Victor was a amazing choice
Why do I get dajavu watching this video
IMMA CATCH THE PREMIERE?!
That,s victor the yellow enaige
Loved this Rhen!
I keep thinking the yellow engine near after the beginning was an entity, funny how you added Frank’s driver was a smoker possibly shadowing he had mental health problems I guess..
bro the fact victor always has a strait face funny
Why did u have to use Victor's model
I dont think bert is the yellow engine. To those who watched blue mountain mystery, victor was the yellow engine, and he and Luke shared the same story. I do agree that bert is possessed by the yellow engine. And if i had to give a name for the yellow engine it would be caden.
I disagree. I think Bert is the Engine. remember the real Bert is DEAD the Guard from hell KILLED HIM so I think the yellow engine now takes on Bert's appearance
Could I Possibility Voice Act A Character In The Next Story?
I wonder why they were muttering tiptoe through the tulips in that language.
definitely my new favorite video of yours! amazing work!
Nice to see victor on mid sodar!
never really cared about Halloween but all of a sudden last year I started loving horror stories, so glad people make ttte horror stories loved watched ttte as a kid
This was amazing!! Genuinely spooky. So awesome.
Did you actually know that Victor from the famously well-known Thomas & Friends TV show's own official complete full CGI animation era certainly happens to be very shockingly surprisingly based on an official American-origin steam-driven railway O-4-O OST+PT tank engine built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in the officially well-known observational 191Os respectfully that officially built to work in Cuba as a standard gauge steam-driven railway O-4-OST+PT despite bein' completely converted to run on narrow-gauge tracks by the crew who made the show's own official complete full CGI animation era? It's completely true as according directly to the info 'bout Victor alongside his own official real-life locomotive basis in the video describing each of the characters ages alongside their own official real-life counterparts!
It's true as I seriously read the info 'bout Victor alongside his own official real-life locomotive basis very shockingly surprisingly carefully!!!
DON'T BELIEVE ME? CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, REFERENCE TO THE FORMERLY KNOWN MID SODOR NARROW-GAUGE RAILWAY!
❤
SPOOOOOOOOOOOKY!
That engine is victor 💀💀💀
I just thought of a big big plot hole in the story dukes line and Berts line are different gadges so the logic of a narrow gadge engine on small gadge track doesn’t work
I don't think Bert is the yellow engine because he can clearly speak English
Bert is dead remember ? it's clear that the yellow Engine is taking on His appearance
So you're telling me Duke worked nearly 40 years single handedly on the main till this yellow engine arrived and that yellow engine was on the railway for a whole 1 month before it vanished and Stanley was bought some time later (guessing 1922 here since he mentions he served in the war)?
Proteus engone Magic ❤
Y'all are forgetting that Bert died in Sodor's supernatural. 'Victor'/The Yellow engine took his place as a "skinwalker."
But is he took Bert's place, how could the engines believe that's Bert is he's dead? I don't think they would believe that engine is Bert after seeing him dead
@@MSR2003Productions maybe they thought the manager got him rebuilt in secret.
@@shootingstarproductions2530 hope we have more info on that in the next part
@@shootingstarproductions2530 because it's really odd that no one mentions that Bert is back or something like that
This isn't canon to Sodor's Supernatural.
Did cults even exist at that time?
What's the name of the credits music? Very dark and gritty, almost sounds like a haunted pipe organ
Hang on, is this a sequel to The Guard from Hell??
Victor????????
Maybe another member of his class?
Wait I thought Bert died in an earlier video?
He did
What language was he speaking in?
