Variable Cancels are a part of this game's code unintentionally and you can cancel grabs/certain moves/guard impacts/weapon clashes. Mainahighway managed to showcase pretty much every bug in this game including weird interactions with wallsplats (upside down siegfried)

It is said that and the end of SC3, Siegfried and Nightmare defeated Abyss; they both grabbed their swords then clashed blades. this caused an explosion that destroyed the lost cathedral, nearly killing them both. I guess when they said, "They clashed blades" they meant frame perfect guard breaks and techs that defied the laws of physics. Ngl, this will forever be my headcannon. lmao
That was the wildest TAS I think I've seen yet. Would there be any hope for Chronicles of the Sword runs? Who knows what the Create-a-Soul movesets are capable of at this rate.
Makes me a little sad that we probably aren't going to see a new Soul Calibur anytime soon for a similar reason we won't see a new Darkstalkers. Bamco and Capcom are putting the vast majority of their focus and resources on Tekken and Street Fighter, respectively, as they're their two biggest fighters. I'm not saying it's a bad decision, we saw that Soul Calibur 6 didn't, and probably couldn't, get nearly the same amount of support Tekken 7 did even though it released later.

I'ts probably emulated and upscaled on a modern PC. But yes, i can confirm that the original PS2 version still hold well
