"Reduced the number of collidable objects on the track. Tuned road wetness across the track for better consistency. Improved quality and detail of grass throughout the track."
I'm seeing: - Improved Grass Detail (Higher density of 3D Grass and a more natural tiling pattern) - Improved Rear lights (Brighter with a new bloom effect) - Improved headlights (Brighter and covers a larger area) - More realistic road textures in wet conditions (less mirror like) - Improved per object motion blur (Shutter speed looks to be increased), more noticeable in replays - More realistic colour temperature Overall, a pretty significant update. Would be great to compare update 1 with update 13 :D @MotoGamesTV
I noticed an improvement 1- Interior lighting in cars 2- Improved the intensity of the headlights and taillights 3- I feel a visual improvement in Xbox Series S 4- Improved the audio in the Corvette C7R Improvements 1- Digital mirrors on Gt cars look very dull or no visibility at all as if they have lowered the brightness of the screens 2- Nothing else 👍🏼
One thing that would make the game much more realistic would be to add dirt and bugs to the windshield as the laps progress. Clear glass is very unrealistic if we are going for realism.
They replaced the old clovers and crab grass with a more consistent looking grass texture. It no longer looks like a bunch of clumpy weeds during game play.
It is still very blurred and hardly noticeable unless you stop to stare at it in photomode. Even there, it looks bad. My comparisons show this. It's an improvement, but like I said, looks too blended and blurred with the flat surface "grass" that you hardly see the 3D grass
@@joescivicHave you ever watched a real life race on Virginia? It‘s looking a lot more like reality now in terms of color and texture and in reality you also won‘t see every detail of grass. Also the track surface looks more authentic.
@M-hq9xz I used to be stationed there, so yes. You still see grass density when driving at high speeds. So my point still stands. Even the grass density change on this track is still hard to notice because grass is blurry and blends in with the flat "grass" textures.
Certain lighting sources have been changed too. Like the tail lights 4:00 and the headlights seen here: 6:24. Headlights now illuminate the road slightly when it's overcast/raining 5:10 Puddles behave differently now: 7:07 -> Can't say I like this one. Track looks very flat now. Llooks significantly more realistic before. Great video as always!
Also i noticed at 6:27 the off track atmosphere has new lights and i think different arrangement of the crows as well! Anyone else see other spots around the track with new ones? Edit: and at 6:37 as well new puddle lights for the off track flags.
@@UKMikey exactly. It looks like because when I wait in lobby before the race about 1 mins when all views will be shown the race runs smoothly. It is definitely not performance issue.
in terms of content, much better, but still has a lot of problems so there is no winning here until they fix all the gameplay problems, GT7 is much better as a racing game
@Sunay_galo quick question: Do you know how to develop? No? Ok, so what typically happens is when a new update happens, new bugs and glitches are created. Every game has bugs.
@@1eyepaul "Every game has bugs" hurr durr, obviously, but Forza was 6 yrs in development, this type of condition is inappropriate to a game with much respect among the players, and u don't know how to develop either, tf u're talking about man?
Ok so the game started from the ground down, forcing them to majorly improve it with every update. It's now as good as GT7 apart from car models. If Forza continues like this with these types of updates it will surpass all the racing or simulator games on a general level, of course the physics in this game are more generic as it's more of an arcade game

I see difference on tail lights when braking and stationary more redness i think
It looks like fh5 now ... Not realistic at all ...
yeah they added more of a glow to taillights and daytime running lights as well
The old grass made the track feel like it was in Winter. The new grass now feels like it's in Spring/Summer
Definitely looks better, glad they're making all these improvements.
They in general changed the color grading, it's not just the greener grass, it's all colors that are brighter now. The game looks less depressing.

Yes, that's the plan compare release version vs one year later.
2:12 i see some differences even on lighting
Fr game actually looks nice ngl.
It’s a good thing they made the grass a different color green. That will definitely improve the racing experience.
that's the best update in the game by far
They have also updated some car sounds

Ok. Now the UI T10, the boring grey menu/'upgrade garage' is sad to look at.

They did alright in this update, brighter car lights, more track lighting tweaks, and returning track. Just needs hella bug fixes per update as usual
Love what they have done with the tail lights and brake lights. So much brighter now.
Woww it looks great now, even headlights look better. I am so excited to drive in bathurst on update 15🎉🎉🎉
They added a reshade preset to the game. Nice....
The change in the lighting department is so obvious that the first thing I realized something is changed here.

After update 13, I have experienced frame drops at the beginning of a race when all cars are in the same place (XSX, all graphic modes tested).
Same here.. there are a lot of small pauses during the race... it is annoying!!!!! 😡😤
Same here
I hope this is due to shader compilation. If so it may go away after a few plays like it does with EA Sports WRC

You know it’s bad when the best improvement to a track so far is Turn 10 changing the colour of some grass.
Once they add a proper career mode and offline play, I'll be interested.
They're the same picture.
Why can't all tracks have this grass !!!!!!!!
many do...? They've been updating them since Brands Hatch, which was the first with this new vibrant look.
