I was just talking with a guitarist friend a few weeks ago about how there’s no dino tones out there. Ask and you shall receive! This sim is a banger! Lots of goodies, killer tones. I put it up there with some of the neural stuff. The di matching stuff i’m still wrapping my head around. The extra dynamic comb filter and multiband comp/limiter are nice additions. The only thing i can complain about is maybe a compressor and/or an octaver could be added. Overall this plugin is badass! I got it the day before release at a discount! Great vid! 🤘

Thanks! I mean, you can totally do that right now if you wanted. I have a video I made a while back doing just that. But really the ticket is going to be when someone comes out with a VST based pedal/floorboard that doesn't operate on Windows and is reliable. That will be the shizzy.

Great video as always..love your channel. I think JST really raised the bar for amp sims on this one. There are SO many cool features with this thing. FF and Divine Heresy are such great guitar tones and this does those tones! 🤘🤘

Nice. I really love the guitar range and tuning options, but the eq is superb. I’m not sure about the DI match tool because they honestly sounded too similar. Maybe if you were playing single coil and used a different pick up there’d be a bigger difference. But this plugin overall looks amazing and hopefully these new features will be the standard for future guitar and bass plugins in the future.
The EQ was the big stand out for me as well. Like, we all know of a similar EQ plugin that costs boatloads more money lol.

I'm not sure exactly the situation, but I believe they found it for use in this plugin. At least that's what the get started guide says!
How do you always have cool recorded drum tracks implemented so quickly? Also do you use a dI box before plugging into your audio interface?
No DI box. I use EZ Drummer 3 to sort and select all my midi grooves. It’s the easiest way to do it that I know of.

Great mix, it would be nice if I could hear the guitar over the kick drum. I know you're going for the Fear Factory recipe, but back off that kick a little and let the mix breathe a little.

Dino Cazeras’s Marshall was not a JCM 800. I been a FF fan since they played house parties in the late 80’s
I wouldn't know either way 🤷♂️ but that's what the quick start guide says it is.

He definitely used a modded JCM 800 for Demanufacture. He even talks about it in several interviews. It was stolen from him. Years later they tracked it down, but the guy who had wouldn’t sell it back to him. However, he did let him borrow the amp, and Dino made a Kemper profile of it. He was using it as his touring sound for awhile. Maybe he still is.
Fear Factory didn't form until 1990. And his Marshall was a heavily modded JCM 800. And his name is spelled Cazares.
It was a 800 he literally says it in multiple videos
If you want a cheaper plugin that sounds good with low tunings you should try the berry amp by audio assault

@@JoeySturgis The problem isn't the fresh download, but the fact that now it's in fact "abandonware" without explanations and after only few years (5), probably because it didn't sell well. It costed me almost 150$ for the Ultimate edition, and the last upgrade made it usable only with iLok! How can we know that this new plugin won't have the same end?
