I've had an Erhu for four days now and played it every day. I find I can get a clear tone on the inner string, but I really struggle on the outer string. Especially on the higher notes. I get lots of scratches and harmonics, and I find it difficult to play the outer string with a lot of strength and volume. Any tips on how to improve? Thanks. :D

Can you do a video about the different types of rosins and colours & which a beginner should buy please? I recently bought an Erhu & don’t know which one I should buy and don’t know the difference between them & the colours if they make a difference.
Hi there thank you so much. My problem is that I think my beginner bow isn't stretchy enough, I'm not able to stretch the bow as much as I see in other videos. Do you recommend that I buy a better erhu bow or do you think that the problem is just my technique?
when you are playing the outer string, how are you pushing with your left hand? are you pushing with your thumb, or with your entire hand downwards onto the soundbox? Also are you trying to push the entire bow as a whole or just the wood part downwards? Thanks for the help

Turn the adjustment button right to tighten the bowhair, left to loosen it
