- Learning to Code is Hard. Staying Motivated as a Programmer is Hard. Let's get Motivated to Code and Never Give Up learning new ways To Think Like a Coder.
Thinking Like a Programmer is one of the hardest skills you can develop. The syntax of most coding languages aren't really that difficult. It's the process of turning that code syntax into a piece of software, application or program, that solves a problem.

You have to push through those days. Stay motivated to solve the problem you're trying to fix with your code.
While Programming may indeed be hard, overtime, it gets easier. You have to just commit yourself to coding daily. Learning new ways to make your code more efficient by refactoring your code.

Thank you!
I have a great desire to learn coding. But I'm in my Third year of college and i feel like i have wasted a lot of time in computer engineering. MY field is computer engineering and still i don't know how to code. Do you have any opinions?
Hello sir, I really don't know what is disturbing me, I really love to be a programmer but I always put up a lazy attitude. I really need some advice from you, sir.
I jst found your channel. I heard your voice while I was working n I said, hey that guy sounds Hispanic like me, and started really listening n not only are u Hispanic like me, but we also have the same name (Joel). I've been teaching myself to code n learned alot, but i got discouraged cuz im an ex felon. I told myself today, so what, im not giving up n i looked up coding motivation n your video was the first to come on. This has convinced me this was jst not random video, but fate. I feel like I was born to code.
Thank You so much for this
A little tip for programmers out there.. take it line by line understand and appreciate what it does.. this is a great video btw thanks man
Biggest factor to overcome to become a developer is " FEAR"(False evidence appearing Real)
Well said. Mindset is everything.
One reason why so many give up learning programming is they became impatient and get discourage if their expected time frame to learn that programming language did not meet their expectation. The propaganda you learn this programming in only 3 months is not totally true. People have different capacities to learn. Some are like horses where they can learn in a short amount of time and some like turtles it might take a while to reach their goal.
Well said. It’s deceiving, the syntax of most coding languages isn’t that difficult. But to code the logic flow, thinking like a programmer, that’s what takes serious time and effort. It can take years for some. Thanks for watching.
You're right.. For me, it took me a lot of time and effort to have finally a good grasp of certain concepts in a programming language (ex. Javascript)
This might be the most powerful video I have ever seen. You're right. It's time to code my empire.
Awesome. Learning to code is one of the best things a person can do to future proof themselves when it comes to skills. Code your empire 🙌🏼
Thanks for this video. I've been getting up at 3:30am almost everyday taking computer science classes, writing articles on my website and it's been getting harder and harder. I went from mowing lawns to working at a private college in IT within a few years. Everyone needs kind words like this at every step. Thank you.
I so needed to see this. This is the kind of thing I need to remind myself of on a daily basis. I have a nasty habit of looking ahead, seeing how much more I have to learn, and letting myself get overwhelmed and intimidated by it. Every day I have to tell myself that I know more than I did yesterday.
On the other hand, I feel guilty if I let a day go by without spending at least a little time sitting at my laptop and learning. I have a wife, a two-year-old daughter, and a baby boy on the way. I’m doing this for them as well as myself. And obviously it’s important to spend time with my family. But if I take a break for one day I feel like I’m getting lazy and letting them and myself down.
thanks man ! Like this helped me very much because I always when I want to start coding I'm like nah Im at the point where I can't fix it and then I went to play games the whole day while I can use that time to code..... I did go from the basics but I didn't focus very much on them cuz I wanted to learn fast but that wasn't the key to achieve what u want , so that video helped me a lot thanks!!
It's less than a month I started to learn code. now it's getting tough and makes me frustrated. I seriously need such guidelines. Thanks for your advice ♡
Same here! I have over two months learning HTML, CSS and JS. Everythin seems not to hard until you want to apply it in the real life in a project and you start getting discouraged! We have lots to learn and just time and experience will give this knowledge to us, just keep pushing forward.
Don't fear the process man!! Beginning is always hardest. But keep going...
Where are you now? 2023?
You'll get there, eventually, with persistence and tenacity.
Thank you so much for this , i finally found a Programmer's Motivational video. I agree with you learning to code is hard. way back 7yrs ago it is very hard to find a motivation video for programmers. FEAR also is the one thing that holds me back. Thanks for this.
Very Empowering man. I looked up beginning coders encouragement, and this is what showed up. Thank you for your words of wisdom, and empowerment.
Halfway through my journey on the Odin Project and I needed to hear this today. Thanks, brother!
Thanks many man !! For all your sayings, This would seriously create an impact in me.
this was amazing! i will admit, i suffer from this thing called "FEAR" and i do get discouraged. i say to myself that i never had good schooling or i'm not smart enough for this but in saying that, perseverance is my key, i love learning even if i don't understand it. i will constantly read until i have gained the knowledge. thank you.
Thank you for motivating me all I hear from others is that it’s hard I’ve always loved computers and coding
It is, indeed, the time to learn.. I'm having a very bad time fighting against procrastination and I'm sure this video is giving me the courage to continue my steps to become not just a programer, but a better person in life.. Thanks!!
Thank you man! You really helped me! I almost cried...Keep up the motivation and don't give up, guys! Im holding your fists!!
normally i do not like music in UA-cam videos but the ones here were chosen well. good video. thank you ...

This man was hunting and pecking, just amazing you've motivated me to keep learning coding without touch typing, and yes I'm learning to touch type with Dvorak.

The learning curve is steep but I know for sure the result for having that powerful skill is satisfying because you're the creator.. Creating something that gives value to others is so fulfilling.

Hi PIxem! So, i' 27... about a month ago i decided i want to start making games. Now, i've never touched the topics of coding, game development, level design, character modeling & animation. At first i thought - "visible progress will appear maybe years from now... should i even try? am i not too late?"... But as soon as i started, within days i began to see patterns, logic, syntax. It's like - the more i delved into it, the more sense it made. I started checking sources for code, started looking at certain tutorials, motivational vids to keep my mind focused on the task at hand and not fall to depression & self-doubt. I started making sense of things on a level others around me don't understand. And everything you said in this vid confirms everything i've come to believe in the past few years and especially in the last few months.... What i'm trying to say is... Thank you! For confirming what many of us believe... and for helping those who feel weak to find their strength, and give direction to those who've lost their way. - - - - - Thank you! :)
Thanks 😊 for the motivation I really recommend it. Am having problems with html a little
Thanks for the video man, have a nice day!

Well well i have loved your speech so much mr motivator, iam a deep passionate newbie in programming , am teaching my self how to code. i have encountered all what you have spoken about in my coding career, i have systems to build but am still concetrating on learnin the syntax of languages i prefer to use. Iam have been disappointed by many I.T Friends with whom i once joined teams with to work out my personnal ideas into real world web application, because i knew only graphic design , my friends could not help me build my systems yet i feel , that i cannot throw my blue print ideas away. am determined to make my dream come true by learning programming seriously, You have given me a boost in your speech . Thank you so much
Really thanks to you
Thanks alot Sir for motivating us
oh thank god !!! what a video youtube suggested me........i really neeeded this video......thanks for making me code again
thank you so much
The best 9 mins i spent in my life. Worth it
Thank you so much guys
Now Im motivated. Thank you.
Another hurdle to overcome is understanding that it is completely 100% okay to feel at some point in programming, like you don't want to program, like you need to take some time for your brain to rest; it just means that your brain needs to re-organize all that you have learned up to today. If you feel like that, it's normal, and it does not make you a bad programmer, it just means you are human and are not a computer that can just program program program program 24/7. You need those pivotal moments to let your brain and body to readjust to a new level. Most of the times when you feel that way, is because it occurs after you have done a lot of new things and created complex procedures and code. Great work, rest, and prepare yourself mentally that you need to keep pushing forward. *Programming is a life long journey, that involves making many mistakes and having the satisfaction to overcome those challenges. If that's you today, great job mate, don't let anyone ever tell you or make you feel like you are not good enough. Because there is no such thing as a Programmer who writes code perfectly 100% of the time. Even to the best of programmers, they can still have syntax errors or redundancies in there build.
Many Thanks
Thanks man
Thank you bro. I'm just about doubting !
Thank you for this video.
I'm learning javascript and its one of the hardest things I've ever study.

Thank you sooooo much for this motivation!!!! 🙏🏾 I’m a CS student aspiring to be a software developer. I hope to get a job one day. Even though programming is frustrating and I don’t feel like I’m good enough. It just takes practice and consistency. People have downplayed my major, but I know I can do it.
You can do it!
Thank you for inspiring 🙂 Keep it up
Thanks sir for such a motivational message.🙏❤
Thank you for the kind words. Today, i actually failed on one of my coding subjects. I know im a bit slow compared to others. And because of your words, im regaining my self motivation back. You dont know how much your words meant to me. Again tq so much
~ beginner coder
It's not the Fear that I don't have the capacity to do it that's holding me back, what's holding me back is laziness and procastinating...the problem is I know that I can do it and how to do it but I just procastinate too much.
Universal Server I have the same thing I love to learn to code but I’m just lazy to study
@@yankobig8612 this i get motivated learn the basics then get demotivated and leave then come back after a while and i forget some of the stuff
