Just some advice from an old truck driver that lives in the area you just went through on this video. The gas signs and lights are usually for H2S or Hydrogen Sulfide gas. Nasty, deadly stuff. Most of the oilfield trucks here carry a SCBA just in case. You also mentioned Propane in the video. From the sound of your videos, I think you're driving a diesel. Propane gathers in the low areas and if there is a leak. and if the diesel sucks it in, it will run away. You can't shut it off, you can't stop it unless you close off the intake. Had it happen in the semi down around Muddy Gap WY one time. Not fun! I just found your channel and it looks great!! Looking forward to more!
Not for my diesel.. but it gets 22-23mpg. the only place it got tight was at Atlantic City and I did carry 5 gal with me but ended up buying at Atlantic City 5 gal and keeping mine but that’s because I didn’t top off at the stop before it. If on a bike or in a jeep that gets 10-12mpg you prob should bring an extra 5.
The frustrating part about those private gates blocking access to the BLM land is that after several years, those landowners will petition the government to sell the BLM land using the reasoning that it is never used by the public. In other words, the landowners prevent the public from having access to those public lands, then use the lack of use, caused by them, as an excuse for the government to sell them the land. This process should be illegal, and prosecuted to the full extent.
Yay!
Thanks for watching!!

@@aMAYSingLife Thanks for your reply, I carry 39 gal with 2 5.3 jerry cans so it shouldn't get too tight.
@@NarleyAdventures wow that’s a lot of fuel.. no you should be good unless you get worse than my motorhome 😂
@@aMAYSingLife I average 17-18 not pushing it under normal wheeling, ilke you did in this episode. And that is 29 gals capacity, my mistake.
Great story! Glad you didn't get shot finding blm land. 🤣
Was only about 1/2 hoping he be there and open the door lol
