- To make A portable project super easy, cut and grind your glass before your trip. Todays video features a Memory Box.
The box encloses memories like seashells, buttons, and other little souvenirs you treasure. This project is made with Kokomo Celtic, a patterned glass that comes in a variety of colors. We used the green and it is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. Have fun making memories and good luck on all of your stained glass projects!

Wow nice!
Thanks for the visit
Hummmm ... trapping memories. With my pathetic memory maybe I should make a few of those. :-)
Thank you so much for watching! Join us Monday at 7Pm Est for the livestream Q&A. We chat about glass, answer questions, share info and there’s a glass demo.
I am new to stained glass and love your videos! I'm not wanting to do traditional stained glass but windows with vintage clear glass plates, clear cut glass filling in the gaps. The plates will be "heavier" than cut glass. Do I need to reinforce or will lead solder be strong enough?
Yes your will need to configure the structural integrity of your piece. I would start with small sculpture and then gradually add size. We covered that in the livestream last week. Thanks for watching.
For projects that will get allot of handling do you use your reg 50/50 solder or something like a cadmium free or sta-brite- which is kinda pricey

What do you do if it's a gift for someone that you don't get the memories while making the box. Do you send it with the one botton side off and something like super glue to attach it at a later point after the gift is given?
We collect the items, then create the box.
Thanks for watching!
Did you mean to put the textured side of the glass on the inside on one side? I want to make sure to do it right.
Ooops! Probably not. Good eye. Thanks for watching!
Awesome box, I'm just curious how you clean the lead off your tables?
Solder? Here we are using $1 24 x 30 poster board to work on. Thanks for watching!
Great to know! Working with solder can be tricky bc of the lead content. I'm trying to build a camper van and was trying to figure out how to be safe!
Like the box really good gift for someone
Always have good ventilation. While camping we could work outside if weather permits.
